Rihanna was in London this week to perform at the Brixton o2 Academy.

She took to the stage - much to the delight of her fans - to perform wearing an asymmetrical black bodysuit with embellishments from Manish Arora’s Spring 2010 collection.

It’s was a typically bold stage look for Rihanna, because as we know RiRi doesn’t do safe anymore.

Fishnet tights and ankle boots completed the look.

RiRi’s most interesting look was her Mark Fast Fall 2009 tangerine knit dress, which she wore when she attended the Nokia X6 launch at Mahiki nightclub in Mayfair.

Mark Fast is the knitwear designer of the moment, and his super sexy dresses are sought after by many fashionista’s.

Her look was paired with a Louis Vuitton tasseled bag, grey Christian Louboutin Lynne backless ankle boots and Maria Francesca Pepe chunky chain bracelet.

Prior to her arrival in London Rihanna was pictured outside “Skyrock Radio” in Paris, where she made an appearance to promote her new album, ‘Russian Roulette.’

It was here we got to see her wearing a Rick Owens Fall 2009 dove grey coat, which she wore over her Acne Spring 2010 cropped printed jumpsuit.

En route to her hotel in London Rihanna was spotted wearing another Rick Owens look.

She paired her black leather jacket with a grey IRO fur hat and this time she opted to carry her Louis Vuitton fanny pack.

Shopping on Oxford Street in London, her devotion was clear as she wore yet another Rick Owens jacket.

This dove grey version is my favourite. It looks so snug, soft and luxurious.

Her Rick Owens cropped padded shouldered leather jacket, plus the Rick Owens black leather jacket and my favourite Rick Owens padded vintage tie leather jacket are all available to purchase from Luisa via Roma.

A Rick Owens leather jacket is without doubt the investment piece for your winter wardrobe. Perfect for day or evening.

I want one now.

Katy Perry and Rihanna are good friends so when they realise they wore the same knitted H&M sweater dress a day apart, I’m sure they will have a good laugh about - especially as neither appear to be wearing make-up.

Katy Perry was spotted leaving Philippe Chow restaurant in LA this week, wearing her belted sweater dress with black knee-high boots.

The make-up free singer still manages to look gorgeous as she heads to her car.

Rihanna appeared to be a a foul mood when she left her Nobu in London last night.

What’s up RiRi? Did someone diss your fanny pack?

It maybe a Louis Vuitton fanny pack, but it’s still a fanny pack.

The singer who performed at the Brixton Academy this week wore her dress with workman type boots, sunglasses and a long gold chain.

I just can’t get over the fanny pack, so Katy wins this for me.

As much as I hate to admit, it looks like Katy, Rihanna and I share the same taste in fashion as I have this same dress in my closet.

I think I might wear it today - without a fanny pack.

Out & About, New York

Rihanna may have worn her Stéphane Rolland Spring 2009 Couture gown on the red carpet at the 2009 Glamour Women of the Year Awards, but inside she did a quick change into this stunning Jasmine di Milo Spring 2010 gown.

The ombre silk tulle gown is divine with it’s sexy thigh-high split and gathered details on the hips.

Many of you didn’t think she could carry off the previous gown, but think she rocked both.

Royal Rajasthan Gala, London

There was a time when I had nothing nice to say about Sigourney Weaver, but she continues to impress.

From her previous Donna Karan gown, to this stunning ruby Naeem Khan Fall 2009 draped satin one- shoulder gown with jeweled trim bodice which I simply adore.

At present she can currently do no wrong.

“A Magical Evening” Gala, New York

I’m still catching my breathe from looking at the stunning Selita Ebanks on this red carpet.

She looks like an angel wearing a white one-shouldered J.Mendel Pre-Fall 2009 gown, which has had its second outing on the red carpet.

BDOTW contender for sure.

Jane Krakowski chose a one shouldered grey embroidered Christian Cota Fall 2009 dress.

I like the dress, especially the embroidered detail, but I’m not sure it quite works on Jane.

She’s quite broad shouldered so this look isn’t particularly flattering.

Montblanc 9th Annual 24 Hr Plays on Broadway After Party, New York

Emmy Rossum is wearing a lot of black lately, but her black jacquard J. Mendel Fall 2009 sleeveless dress which has been modified from the runway is stunning.

She pairs her dress with t-bar heels, I just wish she also wore the runway belt.

“Exposed: 10 Years In Hollywood Book Launch Party”, LA

This isn’t my favourite look on Jessica Alba by any means.

She doesn’t breathe any life into her Narciso Rodriguez Resort 2010 black and white dress which she pairs with Christian Louboutin Lady Page pumps.

MTV’s “It’s On With Alexa Chung”, New York

Rihanna strikes a pose at the MTV Studios after her interview on Alexa Chung’s show, which you can watch by here

I thought it was quite appropriate that Rihanna was seeing Alexa wearing ankle boots, as Alexa is the Queen of ankle boots.

Rihanna paired her boots with an Alexander McQueen asymmetric-stripe sweater dress which we’ve seen on Cheryl Cole.

Regular readers will know that I’m all about the drama.

The more dramatic the dress, the more I fall in love which is why I’m salivating over Rihanna’s Stéphane Rolland Spring 2009 Couture gown.

I expected Rihanna to walk red carpet wearing a Balmain Spring 2010 dress with cut-out details in the hips, so this was a very pleasant surprise.

The white Stéphane Rolland mermaid shaped gown had a pleated detail on the front which swirled around the bodice, before exploding all over the skirt.

This will be a love it or hate it dress. What say you?

Before I fell for Cate Blanchett, it was all about Catherine Zeta Jones. She was my first girl crush.

I had such admiration for her as she held her own on the red carpet amongst the Hollywood major players.

We haven’t seen much of her lately, but walking the red carpet at this event last night she proved that she hasn’t lost any of her sparkle.

CJZ looked outstanding wearing a navy blue Gustavo Cadile’s Resort 2010 lurex gown.

I loved cut, it flatters her so well. I also love how the gown shimmers.

Welcome back Mrs Jones-Douglas, we missed you.

From one ageless beauty to another.

Iman - as usual - looked OUT-Friggin-Standing.

It’s not easy to follow the gorgeous Karlie Kloss because she totally owns everything she wears on the runway.

But when you’re Iman, that doesn’t matter.

The uber model walked the red carpet wearing a pink Jason Wu Spring 2010 feathered confection that is totally delightful.

I love the neon green waistband and her matchy matchy runway platform heels.

She totally stands out as one of the best on this red carpet.

Never take a day of Iman….I BEG you.

Some of you have expressed your confusion as to why Kerry Washington receives so much praise for her red carpet choices.

Come on guys, looks at how amazing she looks wearing this Fendi Spring 2010 blush pink lace floor-length dress.

She looks simply elegant, the colour complements her skin-tone, she accessorized well with silver stunning jewels and a Christian Louboutin snake skin print clutch.

Her look is totally effortless.

What’s not to love?

The Stella McCartney Resort 2010 collection still proves to be the most worn collection by celebrities this year.

Liya Kebede, joins Stella McCartney and Jessica Simpson who have both worn this coat/dress.

It’s not just celebrities who have fallen for Stella’s Resort collection.

Glamour magazine’s Editor-in-Chief Cindi Leive walked the red carpet with SVP & Publishing Director Bill Wackermann wearing the same Resort 2010 dress we’ve seen on Frieda Pinto.

It was no surprise that Stella McCartney was honoured at this event.

The designer was of course wearing self designed pieces which all worked well together.

Stella tends to wear a lot of black, so this pop of colour is really refreshing.

Serena Williams is getting the hand of this red carpet thing as she is radiant at this event wearing a red asymmetrical Pamella Roland gown.

I think she has looked her best yet after her stunning Gucci look a few weeks ago.

Yes she looks muscular, but there’s nothing she can do about that.

I would love to say I have finally embraced Katharine McPhee’s platinum blonde ‘do, but I continue to struggle with it.

Hair aside, I totally in love with her BODYAMR peacock blue jersey gown.

The gown shows off her figure, whilst the black patent leather trim and open back shows off Katharine’s sexy side.

The singer/actress accessorized with a black leather Perrin Paris 1893 Riva Pochette oversize clutch.

Maria Shriver looked fab wearing a black lace strapless Monique Lhuillier gown.

Amy Poehler glittered in a gold Stella McCartney cocktail dress.

For Fashion’s Night Out in New York City, Rihanna celebrated this event at the Giuseppe Zanotti Boutique with other celebrities such as Michelle Trachtenberg and Sienna Miller.

The singer paired her Alexander Wang hooded goddess dress with Giuseppe Zanotti for Balmain embellished booties, studded glasses and spiked bracelet.

Cindy Crawford was at the launch of the “OMEGA Constellation 2009 collection” last month wearing the same dress.

Cindy kept the look simple with a pair of strappy sandals so she wins for me.

As usual Rihanna was trying too damn hard.

This Alexander Wang hooded dress is available to purchase from Shopbop, Browns Fashion and farfetch.com.

It couldn’t have been easy for Rihanna to live her last few months in the spotlight, but it appears that she is stronger, happier and determined to give out a positive message to her young fans looking up to her.

The singer appears on the December 2009 issue of Glamour US magazine looking fabulous wearing a Balmain leopard print sequin mini.

Next Monday the magazine will honor Rihanna at the annual “Glamour Woman of the Year” gala awards ceremony. I’m sure, like me, you are anticipating what she will wear on the red carpet.

Rihanna joins 11 other inspiring Women of the Year winners who are all featured in the magazine, which goes on sale November 10.

Here are some extracts from her interview with Laurie Sandell.

On the ordeal with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown: “I went to sleep as Rihanna and woke up as Britney Spears. That was the level of media chaos that happened the next day.”

On her message to young women: “My story was broadcast all over the world for people to see, and they have followed every step of my recovery. The
positive thing that has come out of my situation is that people can learn from that. I want to give as much insight as I can to young women, because I
feel like I represent a voice that really isn’t heard. Now I can help speak for those women.”

On her personal growth over the past year: “I am stronger, wiser and more aware. You don’t realize how much your decisions affect people you don’t
even know, like fans.”

On her new album: “I’ve put everything I’ve wanted to say for the past eight months into my music. [My new album] is super fearless-which is exactly how I feel right now. I am in a really good place.”

Rihanna opted for an edgy Louis Vuitton ensemble when she attended the “3rd Annual DKMS Gala” back in May.

The look included a raspberry tulip skirt, a metallic top, chunky Daisy choker, black knee-high Cancan boots, a red clutch and a spiky ring.

As you can see from the runway picture below she copied the whole look.

Australian model Lara Bingle yesterday arrived at the first anniversary party of the “Louis Vuitton Collins Street” in Melbourne, Australia.

She didn’t work the head-to-toe runway look, instead she added green suede pumps and a black Louis Vuitton Minaudiere clutch.

Firstly, I don’t like Lara choice of shoes. They are a bit safe for such a look.

Secondly, Lara is wearing such an interesting bold metallic top so I would have preferred her to pull her hair back to show it off.

Thirdly, this look suits Rihanna’s edgier style better, so she wins for me.
