Rhianna In Zac Posen & Chanel – Zac Posen Fall 2015 Front Row

Rhianna In Zac Posen - Zac Posen Fall 2015 Front Row

Rihanna was seated front row at the Zac Posen Fall 2015 show held at Vanderbilt Hall at Grand Central Terminal on Monday (February 16) in New York City, having worn two amazing Zac Posen gowns for both her red carpet arrival and performance at the First Annual Diamond Ball for the Clara Lionel Foundation back in December.

The look on this occasion was simple, classic and elegant – not words I usually attribute to the singer on the red carpet, but here you have it.

Despite this look not feeling very Rihanna-like – attention-seeking with a touch of OTTness – I’m enamoured by the shape-enhancing structure and that rich maroon hue with matching Manolos.

After the show she was spotted leaving the venue wearing a Chanel Pre-Fall 2015 coat in a similar hue finished with a metallic sheen.

Rihanna In Adam Selman – NBA All-Star Saturday Night

Rihanna In Adam Selman - NBA All-Star Saturday Night

Rihanna attended the NBA All-Star Saturday Night held at the Barclays Center on Saturday (February 14) in New York City.

The singer was the first, as always, to wear a look directly from her stylist’s Fall 2015 runway show, wearing an Adam Selman pink trompe l’oeil dress with ‘Spoiled’ etched onto the top.

Even without the plimsoll shoes, this look feels a tad juvenile for Rihanna.

Fendi New York Flagship Boutique Inauguration Party

Fendi New York Flagship Boutique Inauguration Party

On Friday (February 13) Fendi celebrated the opening of their New York flagship store during New York Fashion Week.

Rihanna: The singer, who designed a 3Baguette and micro baguette in aid of her Clara Lionel Foundation, wore a bronze leather Fendi archive dress styled with a pink chinchilla coat and Manolo Blahnik sandals. The look would’ve worked better sans coat.

Sarah Jessica Parker: The actress opted to go sans fur wearing a Fendi Spring 2015 look that was a feast for the eyes with its many colours, fabrications and layers. The smoky eye was perhaps too heavy for my liking, but I’m too distracted by her custom 3Baguette bag and stunning sandals.

Hailee Steinfeld: My first thought was that it was refreshing to see the young star in colour, then I realised she does often embrace colour but not always as boldly as this Pre-Fall 2015 look. A part of me feels there is too much going on, but the right side of my brain loves it from head to toe.

Rihanna In Julia Seemann – adidas Originals x Kanye West Yeezy Season 1 Front Row

Rihanna In Julia Seemann - adidas Originals x Kanye West Yeezy Season 1

The front row was packed with celebs, designers and Anna Wintour for the adidas Originals x Kanye West Yeezy Season 1 fashion show during New York Fashion Week Fall 2015 held at Skylight Clarkson Sq on Thursday (February 12) in New York City.

Rihanna supported her friend in the front row wearing a three-piece look with an unconventional fit that eschews classic ideals of femininity from Julia Seemann’s Fall 2015 collection, which was presented just the night before during the VFiles show.

Each season VFiles selects four designers to showcase during New York Fashion Week who would not be able to put on a runway show or presentation of their own, so kudos to RiRi for continuing to support up-and-coming designers.

The denim look featuring an oversized jacket and flared culottes is classic Rihanna: edgy with a touch of androgyny and plenty of urban street appeal.

She probably overcooked the look with the Manolo Blahnik cross-stitch pumps, but some among you will say that is the least of her problems.

Rihanna In Maison Margiela Couture – 2015 Grammy Awards Performance

Rihanna In Maison Margiela Couture - 2015 Grammy Awards Performance

Rihanna made a rather drastic costume change for her 2015 Grammy Awards performance of ‘FourFiveSeconds’ with Paul McCartney and Kanye West on Sunday night (February 8) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

The Barbadian beauty already gave her first ‘performance’ on the red carpet earlier in the evening, rocking a billowing pink Giambattista Valli Couture confection.

When she took to the real stage, her second look couldn’t have been more opposite from the first. She exchanged the sugary frills for masculine flair in a Maison Margiela Spring 2015 Couture oversized suit, accessorized by a few Chopard diamonds and custom white Christian Louboutin pumps for added oomph.

I love how she became one of the boys here, yet couldn’t have looked more sultry in the process. She owned both of her Grammy looks. Bravo.
