Rihanna In Tom Ford – Savage X Fenty Global Launch

Rihanna’s lingerie collection Savage X Fenty launched at midnight on Friday morning, with the site crashing as thousands of fans wanted to get their hands on a piece of the singers expanding empire.

The 90-style collection includes a wide selection of lacy undergarment, that come in 36 different sizes ranging from 32A-44DD in cup size and XS-3X in panties.

Much like her Fenty Beauty makeup line, the nude collection comes in a diverse range of 80 shades.

Of course Rihanna held a party to celebrate in Brooklyn, New York, Thursday night (May 10).

She could’ve worn one of sheer marabou robes, jumpsuits or the lace floral catsuits that appears in this collection, but instead she opted to keep things down-low sexy in Tom Ford.

The Fall 2018 tiered babydoll dress styled with a Savage X Fenty ruffle open cup bra, suspenders and stockings, was with overlaid with too many jewels which included a Chopard timepiece.

Wearing an anklet – period – let alone under stockings, is one trend that I will never understand.

Gucci Wooster SoHo Opening

On Saturday (May 5), Gucci hosted a private event to celebrate Gucci Wooster, its first ever presence in SoHo, New York. The celebration saw many stylish attendees bring out bold looks for the occasion.

Rihanna: The singer never falls to come up with inventive combinations and this was no exception. She used the opportunity to showcase a top and bra from her Savage x Fenty lingerie line by styling it with Gucci Fall 2018. There are a multitude of references but the cool mash-up is unmistakably her.

Jared Leto: As a lover of head-turning looks and as someone who has openly embraced Gucci’s more-is-more aesthetic, he showed his fashion-forward credentials in Fall 2018. It’s loud, colourful, zany and you cannot help but grin when you see it.

Rihanna In Maison Margiela Artisanal by John Galliano – 2018 Met Gala

Never one to not rock a theme, Rihanna fully embraced the ‘Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination’ inspiration at the 2018 Met Gala on Monday (May 7) in New York City.

After all, as one of this year’s co-chairs, it is kind of required that she be a fashion queen of the gala.

This Maison Margiela Artisanal by John Galliano creation was a masterwork—and certainly inspired by the Pope’s garb, most notably in the miter.

Yet, there would be no Pope-like conservative modesty of form in this ornately embellished and bejeweled minidress with a built-in skirt. As RiRi has been into oversized silhouettes lately, the slouchy robe reflected that component of her style while still staying true to the look’s Catholic influence.

Maria Tash, Gilan, and Narcia Pheres jewels completed the gloriously thematic look.

Rihanna In Gucci – Coachella 2018

As I was saying yesterday, Rihanna can sell anything other than sheepskin over-the-knee slouchy Ugg boots and couple of tent-like Cannes gowns, but this Gucci Fall 2018 look has me shook.

Last year at Coachella the Bajan beauty rocked a bedazzled Gucci bodysuit with a matching mask, and this year’s look seemed to steer down the same path.

Most would’ve taken a few pieces from this look like the white sweater or the blue and white striped shirt, but Ri Ri adds some sass with the Elisabeth Weinstock snakeskin trousers and matching boots, with, the pièce de résistance: a black and white balaclava with opulent chandelier earrings.

Leave it to Rihanna wear a balaclava in the middle of the desert, but at least she doing something a little more original than expected denim shorts, body chains, crop top and flower crowns.

Le Vian diamond ring and Neil Lane retro gold bracelet and diamond and platinum link bracelet completed her look.

This is the step-outside-da-box Rihanna I love.

Rihanna In Y/Project – 2018 Coachella Music Festival

I’m all for Rihanna expressing herself with avant garde runway looks, as she has an uncanny knack of making me fall in love with the most obscure outfits, but on this occasion I will have to give this Y/Project Fall 2018 look a hard pass.

I don’t question that the give the brown draped organza bow dress life, but it was the matching Y/Project x UGG suede thigh high boots that killed the look for me.

They have to be the most unflattering piece of footwear I have ever seen. And I’m truly baffled she wore them to Coachella, in the desert.

Rihanna In Versace – ‘Fenty’ by Rihanna Makeup Launch

Rihanna was at her ‘Fenty Beauty’ by Rihanna makeup launch event on Thursday (April 5) in Milan, Italy.

For awhile, we’ve become accustomed to seeing RIRi in oversized silhouettes. But, she was having none of that here to celebrate her beauty line.

This Versace Fall 2018 leather mini was exactly what you’d expect from an iconic Versace look—sexy appeal, sass in spades, a wide gold belt, and body-con status. And, no one better than Rihanna to rock it to its full attitude and potential.

The dress may have been mini, but she went for maximum impact with Chopard jewels including rows of glorious bangles to up the ante even more.

Tom Ford sandals completed the ensemble—along with her strong makeup look with sultry metallics to celebrate the shades of ‘Fenty Beauty’.
