Rebecca Romijn In Vera Wang – ‘Living On Love’ Broadway Opening Night

Rebecca Romijn In Vera Wang - 'Living On Love' Broadway Opening Night

Rebecca Romijn attended the Broadway opening night performance of ‘Living on Love’ at The Longacre Theatre on Monday (April 20) in New York City.

The actress made a graceful welcome return to the red carpet wearing Vera Wang Collection.

Grabbing my attention with its rich purple colourway and silk chiffon fabrication, this gown makes a flowing statement with the elegant draped detail and alluring silhouette.

With a gown this breathtaking not much else was needed, just a cuff and amethyst earrings to complement that hypnotic hue.

For those starved of glamour, does this look hit the spot?

Rebecca Romijn In Raoul – Good Day LA

Rebecca Romijn was at the Good Day LA studios in Hollywood last week where she dished on her TV movie, ‘Possessing Piper Rose’.

The ‘Ugly Betty’ actress wore a Raoul Spring 2012 dress.

Her navy and pink colour-block dress with brown leather panels was the perfect relaxed, feminine, approachable look for daytime TV.

I would’ve added some navy heels instead of black, but Hollywood starlets do love their black pumps.

Who Wore Thakoon Addition Better? Liv Tyler and Rebecca Romijn

Liv Tyler attended a screening of her movie “Super” back in March wearing a Thakoon Addition dress.

The actress paired her royal blue, floral and polka-dot printed dress with a black blazer, black tights, Roger Vivier blue velvet heels and a black Lanvin ‘Happy Mini Pop’ bag.

I love how she made such a summery dress evening appropriate by teaming it with dark, sophisticated accessories. She strikes the balance between casual and chic perfectly and shows us how to take a daytime look into the night. Fresh makeup and loose wavy hair completes her look.

Rebecca Romijn took a more understated approach earlier this month when she wore the same silk-chiffon dress to attend the launch of “Just Fabulous” in West Hollywood.

The actress added only a pair of tan, strappy wedges and a row of bracelets to her outfit. She also kept her hair and makeup simple too, opting to pin back her fringe and add a touch of pink lipgloss.

When comparing this look against Liv’s, I do wish there was something more going on. Even though Rebecca’s look is more summery, I think she could have made just a bit more effort by choosing an interesting shoe or adding a fun bag or some pretty jewelry to liven up her look. It just feels a little too plain for my taste.

My vote is definitely going to Liv. She wins for her ability to make this dress look incredibly chic and cool.

Good Housekeeping’s Shine On Event

Here are the rest of the looks from Good Housekeeping’s Shine On Event.

Christy Turlington: The model still looks like she did 20 years ago. She doesn’t appear to be aging. It must be the supermodel gene. Christy attended this event wearing a Louis Vuitton teal blue dress with a black boucle cropped jacket. Her chic look was teamed with black accessories.

Heather Graham: The blonde actress is a huge fan of L’Wren Scott, and who can blame her when it gives her a body like woah. The peach figure-hugging L’Wren Scott wool-blend dress was paired with matchy peachy pumps, fuchsia pink lips and a gold VBH clutch. BDOTW?

Eve: The singer wore a Jean Claude Jitrois white leather dress which she over accessorized with too much jewelery.

2010 Life Ball – Rebecca Romijn In Jenny Packham & Hervé Léger by Max Azria

Rebecca Romijn kept her stylist very busy this weekend as she wore 3 looks in one day in Vienna, Austria.

Her first look was a black Herve Leger Resort 2010 dress which she wore with Christian Louboutin bow-T dorcet heels to the “2010 amfAR Vienna Gala”.

Her following look was the show-stopper – a red hot Jenny Packham gown which she wore to the “2010 Life Ball”.

Her red sequin plunging neckline gown would’ve have definitely grabbed attention.

Rebecca’s final look was another Herve Leger dress.

This time she wore a warm taupe coloured bandage dress with gold sequin stripes.

It was a long day for Rebecca so she opted for flip-flops for her final look.

Don’t hate her, we all know how those Louboutin’s can pinch.
