Rebecca Hall In Altuzarra & Armani Privé – Jurors Photocall & ‘Downsizing’ Venice Film Festival Premiere

British actress Rebecca Hall will serve as one of the juror’s for the 74th Venice Film Festival, and like Kristen Wiig, she’s already given us two great red carpet looks.

Photocall: I love how the sashaying fringed trims breathe drama and volume into the understated silhouette her Altuzarra Resort 2018 dress. Despite going for red sandals their impact was very complementary to the floral print.

‘Downsizing’ Premiere: I was taking several short sharp breaths upon sight of Rebecca at the premiere. I was totally blown away by her a Armani Privé Fall 2017 column gown which saw her all aglow with black sequins and crinoline details with multi-coloured embroidery. Some might say this is a lot like Anne Hathaway’s vintage Armani Privé ‘Colossal’ premiere gown, but I would say only the neckline. The rest of this look is in another stratosphere. This is easily one of my favourite looks of the year.

2017 CFDA Fashion Awards Red Carpet Roundup

A number of stars put their best fashionable foot forwards on Monday (June 5) at the 2017 CFDA Fashion Awards red carpet.

Jamie Alexander: I love the armour-like details on this Marc Bouwer dress, particularly the gorgeous sleeves. Jamie’s up-do looks suitably fierce, as are the beautiful Jennifer Meyer earrings, which drop like swords. The Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and gold clutch are suitably subtle too.

Meg Ryan: Understated yet opulent Meg’s Christian Siriano gown flowed perfectly. As effortless as this look was it risked being a tad vanilla. Monique Péan jewels did little to save the look.

Rebecca Hall In Gabriela Hearst – ‘The Dinner’ Tribeca Film Festival Premiere

Rebecca Hall wore her second Gabriela Hearst dress in a row during the Tribeca Film Festival for ‘The Dinner’ premiere on Monday (April 24) in New York City.

I was very disappointed by this ivory Gabriela Hearst Fall 2017 velvet look. This is not related to the season or the fabrication; more to do with how drab the look feels and how poorly it was styled.

The Monique Péan necklaces tried to save it, but with those black platform shoes, this look was doomed for failure.

Methinks the black version would’ve translated better on the red carpet.

Rebecca Hall In Gabriela Hearst – ‘Permission’ Tribeca Film Festival Premiere

Rebecca Hall attended the premiere of ‘Permission’ during the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival on Saturday (April 22) in New York City.

Spring hasn’t quite sprung for the actress who donned a Gabriela Hearst Fall 2017 forest-green frock, which demonstrated the designer’s penchant for tailored minimalism.

However, I much preferred the more modest—yet still sensuous—teardrop neckline than this wider version on her.

Wearing the tea-length dress as presented on the runway, with Gabriela Hearst flatforms, she stayed true to the original vision which put the look on quirkier ground rather than a sleeker offering.

A light dusting of Monique Péan jewels finished the ensemble.

Rebecca Hall In Victoria Beckham – Global Radio Studios

Rebecca Hall was spotted headed to the Global Radio Studios in London on Friday (January 20), wearing what I would imagine Skittles candies to be in sophisticated fashion form.

In Victoria Beckham Pre-Fall 2017 separates, the British actress expertly showed the designer’s evolution of the VB wardrobe especially in the use of colour.

The vibrant mélange pebble print was a delight with the taupe overcoat beautifully tempering the effect and providing a signature sense of tailoring.

A bright turquoise bag would have brought even more energy to the look, but Rebecca made it her own here with a more classic black purse and shoes.

Rebecca Hall In Tome – AOL Build Speaker Series Presents ‘The Gift’

Rebecca Hall In Tome - AOL Build Speaker Series Presents 'The Gift'

Rebecca Hall attended the AOL Build Speaker Series for ‘The Gift’ at AOL Studios on Monday (July 27) in New York City.

Tome has become quite a hit with celebs of late.

They’re drawn to the brands refined silhouettes imbued with contemporary energy, which perfectly sums up Rebecca black and white Pre-Fall 2015 drop-waist frock.

I love how the lady-like vibe is shaken up with the addition of her Robert Clergerie ‘Cartas’ buckle fastening sandals.
