Rashida Jones In Fausto Puglisi – 2014 Golden Globe Awards

Rashida Jones In Fausto Puglisi - 2014 Golden Globe Awards

Rashida Jones was also at the 2014 Golden Globe Awards, held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California on Sunday (January 12).

The ‘Parks and Recreation’ star took a whimsical approach to the evening in a Fausto Puglisi Spring 2014 creamy-white gown, stitched with the most glamorous palm trees ever—being as they were outlined in crystal and metallic-gold paillettes.

Slit thigh-high, the dress was accented with a black skinny belt, a colour which obviously informed her choice of black Brian Atwood ‘Tribeca’ platform sandals, instead of the runway’s dynamic pair of sky-blue heels.

Still, she embellished the dress with other fun accents, including Ana Khouri Patricia pearl ear cuffs, a gold and diamond Stem ring and a black diamond triple Lucky ring, finishing the look with a top knot and a deep berry lip.

Rashida Jones In Proenza Schouler – 23rd Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards

Rashida Jones In Proenza Schouler - 23rd Annual Gotham Independent Film AwardsRashida Jones attended the 23rd Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards, hosted yesterday at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.

The actress worked a slightly over-sized silhouette in a black Proenza Schouler Spring 2014 dress with a deep V-neck plunge, through which the lines of a black bralette peeked for a bit of sultry edge.

Taking the look away from one-note territory, she popped the frock with a colourful Jimmy Choo ‘Cairo’ clutch, featuring a kaleidoscope of geometric accents, along with a Delfina Delettrez bracelet.

If I focus on her ensemble from the ankles up, I have a greater appreciation for it. Those Bionda Castana ‘Christa’ black woven, ankle-strap heels were far too clunky and chunky for my liking.

Glossy waves and a petal-pink lip were a pretty final touch.

Kenzo Kalifornia Launch Dinner and Party

Kenzo Kalifornia Launch Dinner And Party

Playful prints were the name of the game at last night’s Kenzo Kalifornia launch dinner and party at The Berrics in Los Angeles, California.

Rashida Jones: The star, who also co-hosted the festivities, wore a short blue Kenzo Spring 2014 beaded fish motif dress with white platform sandals. Rashida definitely dressed the part of laid-back California girl, only accessorizing further with a sky blue bag, half-up hair, and a light berry lip stain.

Jessica Alba: The actress gave her Kenzo Resort 2014 perforated embroidery palm print shift a wintry twist by adding opaque black tights, a black bag, and chunkier black cut-out booties. Her loose waves and fresh bronzed-glow makeup lived up to that signature California sun-kissed look; and for the sake of the outfit, I’m glad she lightened things up a little.

Of the two Kenzo looks above, do you have a favourite?

16th Annual Mark Twain Prize For American Humor

16th Annual Mark Twain Prize For American Humor

A trio of funny girls turned out for the 16th Annual Mark Twain Prize For American Humor held at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington. D.C. on Sunday.

Rashida Jones: The actress buttoned up in a Miu Miu floral-embroidered top paired with high-waisted black Celine sailor pants, a Chanel clutch and YSL shoes. A retro-look statement earring, along with a crimson lip and wavy ponytail, finished the straightforward ensemble with a fun flair.

Tina Fey: Lace was Tina’s trend of the day with her black Oscar de la Renta cocktail dress, which she wore with peep-toe slingback pumps and a black satin clutch—and a ponytail.

Amy Poehler: There wasn’t much to like or dislike about this basic black dress with a lightly embellished collar neckline. The clunky black heels didn’t do the frock any favours.

Front Row @ Miu Miu Spring 2014

Front Row @ Miu Miu

The Palais d’Iena in France played host today to the charming wiles of designer Miuccia Prada’s Miu Miu Spring 2014 runway show during Paris Fashion Week—and to a packed front row of starlets who all showed their affection for the brand in head-to-toe Miu Miu looks.

Dianna Agron: Donning a palette of midnight blue and black, the ‘Glee’ girlie was sophisticated in a floaty frock and embellished overcoat—even if the bright teal clutch was a borderline confusing addition.

Michelle Dockery: The ‘Downton Abbey’ darling looked chic in a leather LBD that got kicked up with a sparkling beaded neckline and the pop of a bright fuchsia lip that I loved.

Lena Dunham: In perhaps one of her more classic style exits to date, the ‘Girls’ star covered up in a fire-engine red coat, worn over a simple black dress and amped up with a metallic statement cuff and necklace.
