A while back I started a huge debate over Evan Rachel Wood and her style.

I said that she was a copy-cat version to the fabulous Dita von Teese. Many agreed and many of you did not.

Those who did not agree informed us that she was sporting the dark hair, pale skin, ruby red lips look for a movie role.

Well I say “boo” to that theory, because here she is post-break up from Marylin Manson, sporting lighter hair, not as pale skin and a dress that is not black.

I think it is fair to say that those of us who believed she was copying Dita were right.

I hate to say I told you so, but here you have it.

♥

Amy Adams is no doubt one of the most impeccably dress celebrities on the red carpet, and I really do not think she gets enough credit.

Last night she took the red carpet wearing a stunning gold and silver embroidered Carolina Herrera Spring 2009 dress, which a black chiffon detail around the neckline.

The fresh faced actress completed her look with gold leaf earrings, a black clutch and black heels.

Rachel Weisz and her love affair with the Narciso Rodriguez Spring 2009 collection continues, as she wore a black and ivory asymmetric silk dress, with a dash of red on this lips, a black clutch and black pumps.

I am loving her sleek straight hair.

Penelope Cruz was honored at last nights event, and for this very special occasion she wore a black silk Lanvin Spring 2009 tuxedo coat, with satin lapels and black satin belt.

Penelope accessorized the look with Lanvin’s double strand brass chain necklace and Chopard jewels.

Michelle Williams wears just another black dress by on the red carpet, but diamond wings brooch adds a bit of interest to her Balenciaga LBD.

Rebecca Hall also opts for black (zzz). Her Prada dress is also embellished with jewels.

Christian Dior & Chinese Artists, China

Charlize Theron arrived with the John Galliano, the designer of her custom-made Dior gown.

The actress looked absolute stunning, as she sparkled in the strapless gold sequin gown, which she teamed with gold accessories.

Note how she is looking at Galliano with admiration. I would too if he made me custom gowns that made me look that amazing.

Eva Green stayed away from her usual black, to wear this lime green Christian Dior Resort 2009 gown with embellished detailing on the neckline.

For me this is not one of Eva’s best looks, and the make-up is too heavy for such a brightly coloured dress.

Marion Cotillard who is the new face of Dior Bags, arrived on the red carpet wearing a fuchsia pink Christian Dior dress with matching shoes.

We have not seen much of Marion on the red carpet since her Oscar win, back in February, so it’s great to see her on the red carpet again.

“Quantum Of Solace” Premiere, Sydney

Olga Kurylenko looked drop dead gorgeous once again, showing off her long legs in a silver paillette covered mini Collette Dinnigan Spring 2009 low waist dress with metallic peep-toe Jimmy Choo’s.

Her hair was a tad mumsy, I would have loved her hair to have been pulled back in this dress.

Actor Daniel Craig and partner Satsuki Mitchell are such a beautiful couple.

Satsuki opted for a lime green satin gown which graduated with each layers to chartreuse at the hem. The dress had a plunging neckline and a long train.

The jewel tones on her clutch, matched the layers on her gorgeous gown.

MTV’s TRL “Total Finale Live”, New York

Vanessa Minnillo stood out the most at this event wearing a blue Tracy Reese strapless bow dress with white stars all over.

She wore her dress with silver star earrings and t-bar black sandals.

Beyonce performed her hits singles ‘If I Were a Boy’, ‘Single Ladies’, and ‘Crazy in Love’ during the final TRL show.

The single was looked amazing wearing a 3/4 length sleeved embroidered leather Alexander McQueen Fall 2008 jacket and skin-tight leather pants.

Every day her style choices get a little bit better. I guess now that she is married, she no longer feels the need to take style advice from her mother. THANK GOD.

Your Best Dressed last week, Taylor Swift, wore a black Shoshanna asymmetrical dress, with pleating at empire waist.

The curly haired singer wore her dress with black booties.

Hilary Duff surprised me wearing a black mini dress, with a sheer overlay, which she wore with a wide black belt.

This is a daring look for the young singer.

I adore her earrings.

“Billy Elliot The Musical” Opening Night, New York

Rachel Weisz arrived at the Billy Elliot The Musical opening night on Broadway wearing a Marc Jacobs Spring 2008 metallic embroidered shift dress with black pumps.

The British actress continues to shine on the red carpet.

The Hugo Boss Prize 2008, New York

Julianne Moore, one of the pioneers of the navy dress trend, wore a ruffled front navy Boss Black dress with black YSL Tribute Sandals to this event.

Long before Michelle Obama wore Narciso Rodriguez, Rachel Weisz was very faithful to the brand.

The actress wore a red and black Narciso Rodriguez Spring 2009 with the trademark banding strips across the entire dress. This is a great look for Rachel, and it stays on the right side of sexy.

My first wow was for Nicole Kidman today, my second was for Joy Bryant.

She blew me away wearing this mustard coloured Missoni Spring 2009 plunge-neck jumpsuit, as it is daring and the colour is so buttery against her silky skin.

You may remember a few weeks ago that Mena Suvari wore a similar jumpsuit from the same collection.

Zoe Kravitz is wearing the same Matthew Williamson Spring 2009 peachy strapless dress, which Cheryl Cole wore on the X Factor on the weekend.

I prefer the embellished jacket more than the dress on her.

Maggie Gyllenhaal will have anti-fur protesters knocking at her door as she opted for a Louis Vuitton Fall 2008 fur stole over her LBD.

Jessica Biel for once is not so boring, nor bland. OK, it is just a LBD, but the hair and make-up is a vast improvement from her promotion trip of a few weeks ago.

Anna Wintour in Prada, of course.

Agyness Deyn and her boyfriend Albert Hammond Jr., mock the silhoutte behind them, to show their love.

Seriously, who let her in looking like that?

Yes Olga Kurylenko had a fantastic week promoting Quantum of Solace, but neither of us picked her for Best Dressed.

I believe this is because it was expected that Olga would look stunning all week considering she wore beautiful couture gowns, and it would have been too predictable to pick her.

What was not expected was how stunning Rachel Weisz would look in a hard to pull off RM by Roland Mouret black dress. But she did pull if off, with a huge amount of style and grace.

I did automatically want to pick Olga, but I kept being mesmerized by Tess Daly in her Temperley London dress.

The dress fits her like a glove. The detail on the tight fitting bodice is exquisite, and her blonde hair had plenty of volume.

Tess is a beautiful woman, but she totally blew me away in this dress. Those who live in the UK will agree that this is the best she has ever looked.

“Easy Virtue” Premiere, Rome Film Festival, Italy

So the ass is back, and just in time for Jessica Biel promote her latest movie.

It has been a while since we last saw it.

I will give Jessica kudos for the stunning silver shimmering strapless Oscar de la Renta Resort 2009 gown, but I am left wondering if her hair and make-up team traveled with her to Rome.

I will guess no.

“Late Show with David Letterman”, New York

I am not a fan of Lauren Conrad, but I always give credit were credit is due.

The Hills star looked casually chic for her appearance on Letterman yesterday wearing navy Alice + Olivia high waisted pants, a black Mike & Chris leather jacket, and a white front ruffle bib from Yaya Aflalo Garland Top.

She completes her look, of course, with her Chanel bag.

Marcia Cross is looking very svelte in this green satin Malandrino Fall 2008 dress. I love the tulip skirt.

“The Brothers Bloom” Press Conference, London

After seeing Rachel Weisz at the premiere in RM by Roland Mouret, this Tory Burch Spring 2009 shift dress, does not have the same wow factor, but she does look very elegant. Although, I would not have worn those shoes with that dress.

Wow.

Rachel Weisz is beyond amazing wearing a black RM by Roland Mouret dress, which had a folded neckline to reveal a champagne coloured lining.

The British actress wore the fitted LBD when she arrived at the London premiere of her film The Brothers Bloom, at the 52nd London Film Festival last night.

The dress was just as detailed and beautiful from the front, as it was from the back, as it had a deep V, a triangle cutout on the lower back, and a slanted hemline.

She accessorized her dress with black Prada pumps, and her hair was elegantly styled in a sleek updo.

I am sure you will all agree that she wears this dress so much better than the model.

Rachel Weisz lit up the red carpet at the premiere of The Brothers Bloom on the opening night of the 44th Chicago International Film Festival in Illinois recently.

The stunning actress wore a Yves Saint Laurent Resort 2009 sleeveless snake print dress, which she matched with strappy Guiseppe Zanotti heels.

Another perfect look for the stunning star.
