Rachel Weisz In Oscar de la Renta – Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences’ 7th Annual Governors Awards

Rachel Weisz In Oscar de la Renta - Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences’ 7th Annual Governors Awards

Rachel Weisz attended the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ 7th annual Governors Awards on Saturday (November 14) in Hollywood, California.

Whether she’s Daniel Craig’s plus one or front and center, the actress always puts forth a memorable appearance on the red carpet.

On this occasion she stole the spotlight wearing an Oscar de la Renta Spring 16 black tulle gown with ruby sequin flower embroidery.

While I’m captivated by the dashing red hue and feminine appeal, I really miss the black lace ruffled neckline we see on the runway.

It would’ve totally elevated Rachel’s look to something that felt more unique.

Rachel Weisz In Alexander McQueen – Spectre’ London Premiere After-Party

Rachel Weisz In Alexander McQueen - Spectre' London Premiere After-Party

Rachel Weisz attended both the premiere and after party for ‘Spectre’ on Monday (October 26) in London, England.

As she did for the ‘SkyFall’ premiere, the British actress preferred to wait-in-the-wings rather than take the Camila Alves front-and-centre plus-one approach.

While we wish she had opted for the latter, I’m delighted we got a glimpse of her breath-taking Alexander McQueen Hollyhocks flower embroidered gown from the Resort 2016 collection, because it most definitely deserved a spotlight.

Styled with a matching Alexander McQueen clutch, does this change your mind about who was best dressed at this event?

Rachel Weisz In Lanvin - 'Youth' London Film Festival Screening

Following ‘The Lobster’ premiere, Rachel Weisz was back on the red carpet during the BFI London Film Festival for the ‘Youth’ screening on Thursday (October 15) in London, England.

The actress yet again opted for a season appropriate look, wearing a brown and gold floral-lamé custom made Lanvin gown inspired by the Fall 2015 collection, which evokes 1970s night-time glamour.

Oozing effortless elegance, the look was simply styled with a black clutch and jewelled bracelet.

Which look did you prefer. This or the Alexander McQueen gown for ‘The Lobster’ premiere?

Best Dressed Of The Week – Dakota Johnson In Christian Dior & Rachel Weisz In Marc Jacobs

5 Oct BDOTW

Dakota Johnson’s simple, yet elegant Christian Dior look was your best dressed this week, while I opted for a Rachel Weisz’ Marc Jacobs sparkling number which was full of plenty of pizzazz.

The cool-blue charms of Tom Hiddleston’s Polo Ralph Lauren suit captured your attention, while I was swept away by the three-piece Thom Sweeney suit worn by the dapper Chiwetel Ejiofor.

Rachel Weisz In Marc Jacobs – ‘Lobster’ New York Film Festival Premiere

Rachel Weisz In Marc Jacobs - 'Lobster' New York Film Festival Premiere

Rachel Weisz attended the 2015 New York Film Festival premiere of ‘Lobster’ held at the Alice Tully Hall on Sunday (September 27) in New York City.

I’m really enjoying these bolder style statements that Rachel has been making since returning to the red carpet.

This Marc Jacobs Spring 2016 sequined piece offers everything from contemporary elegance, modern grace and graphic appeal.

Even with the bold shoulders and heavy sequins this look still maintains a soft, feminine presence.

Did anyone else think this was Keira Knightley at first glance?

Rachel McAdams In Cushnie et Ochs & Zimmermann - 'Every Thing Will Be Fine' & Jason Reitman's Live Read Toronto International Film Festival Photocalls

Rachel McAdams attended the ‘Every Thing Will Be Fine’ and Jason Reitman’s Live Read photocalls this weekend during the 2015 Toronto Film Festival.

‘Every Thing Will Be Fine’ Photocall: Taking this opportunity to showcase her vampy side, the actress was smouldering wearing a Cushine et Ochs Fall 2015 strapless dress enhanced with a peek-a-boo mesh panel. The look was styled with a deep red lip, Jack Vartanian diamond ear climbers and Christian Louboutin ‘Toerless Muse’ pumps.

Jason Reitman’s Live Read Photocall: The following day, Rachel was a totally different woman wearing a Zimmerman ‘Admire Cherry’ dress which exuded plenty of bohemian vibes. While the look is pretty, it kinda feels out of place at this event.
