Together with the Belgian Royal Family, Queen Mathilde celebrated the 2017 National Day of Belgium in Brussels on Friday (July 21).

Festive in floral that bloomed with a summery-sophisticated spirit, she wore an artistically inspired Natan dress with painterly blossoms.

While the silhouette was a conservative one, the frock did bring some additional whimsy in the poufy bell sleeves.

That lighthearted mood was echoed in her matching fascinator with nude pumps fading to the background to let the soft vibrancy of the look be the focal point.

Queen Mathilde of Belgium In Christian Dior - 70th Anniversary of D-Day Ceremony

King Philippe of Belgium and Queen Mathilde of Belgium attended a ceremony to mark the 70th anniversary of D-Day on Sword Beach on Friday (June 6) in Ouistreham, France.

The Queen looked effervescent wearing a light-blue Christian Dior skirt suit fashioned with a button detail on the shoulder.

Her retro, prim and proper look was topped with a pillar-box hat, matching Dior clutch, white Dior pumps and pearl drop earrings.
