Priyanka Chopra In Alexander McQueen – 2014 Idea FilmFare Awards

Priyanka Chopra In Alexander McQueen - 2014 Idea FilmFare Awards

Priyanka Chopra attended the 2014 Idea FilmFare Awards in Mumbai, India on Friday (January 23).

The Bollywood beauty wore an Alexander McQueen Spring 2014 embellished peplum strapless gown styled with a stunning pair of Atelier Mon earrings and wavy side-swept locks.

Priyanka looks breathtaking. This is not even a question – but what, perhaps, is questionable is why she would wear the same gown as someone so high profile.

You may remember that Naomie Harris wore this same gown to the royal premiere for ‘Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom’ nearly two months ago.

I have never quite understood why one actress would want to follow in another’s footsteps, because the focus, for me at least, switches from how good you look in the dress to who looked better in the dress.

You can buy Priyanka’s Alexander McQueen Peplum Gown from Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus.

Priyanka Chopra In Maya Crispin – ‘Planes’ LA Premiere

Priyanka Chopra In Maya Crispin - 'Planes' LA Premiere

Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra took to the red carpet at the premiere of Disney’s ‘Planes’ movie, in which she has a voice-over role, hosted yesterday at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, California.

The Indian beauty rocked a blush-toned Maya Crispin custom jumpsuit that fit her like a glamorous glove.

To go with that stellar, shiny metallic belt and the gold zipper accents, she carried a Christian Louboutin ‘Mina’ studded clutch and wore matching, highly reflective Louboutin heels.

I was delighted to see her opt for a lighter, more seasonal ensemble than her recent black-on-black display. But the same could not be said for her heavier approach to hair and makeup.

The retro finger waves and bold red lip seemed out of place; it was all a bit dramatic, and daresay costume-y, for such a trendsetting, cool-girl look—a look which was only enhanced by her Ray-Ban aviator shades that also came out to play.

Priyanka Chopra In Roberto Cavalli – ‘The Exotic’ Millions Of Milkshakes Launch

Priyanka Chopra In Roberto Cavalli - 'The Exotic' Millions Of Milkshakes Launch

Priyanka Chopra launched her celebrity milkshake, ‘The Exotic’, at Millions Of Milkshakes in West Hollywood, California, on Thursday.

The milkshake was named after her latest single by the same name, which she is currently promoting stateside.

Priyanka went for a rock-chick look wearing a floral Roberto Cavalli blazer styled with J Brand leather pants, silver Christian Louboutin open-toe sandals and a Nitya Valliyan silver pendant necklace.

The blazer grabbed my attention as being the most interesting part of the look, however, the styling makes the item appear to be too small. The model below wears it the same way below with greater success.

Overall the vibe is too sombre for a mid-July look for my personal liking.

You can buy Priyanka’s Roberto Cavalli blazer from Nordstrom.

The Times Of India Film Awards 2013

The Times Of India Film Awards 2013

The Times Of India Film Awards 2013 took place in Vancouver, Canada on Saturday evening, with a host of Bollywood stars taking to the red carpet.

Priyanka Chopra: The actress wore a black halterneck gown with gold embroidery by Arpan Vohra. The smouldering beauty added a Louis Vuitton black satin clutch, which also had a gold accent. Her side-swept curly locks and elegant poise ensured she was my third BDOTW contender and it’s still only Monday.

Ileana D’Cruz: The actress gave this Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2004 gown its second run on the red carpet in five months. You may remember that Selena Gomez wore this gown to the UNICEF Snowflake Ball back in November.

Aditi Rao: Despite not being a black gown like the other two, Aditi’s Gauri and Nainika strapless gown was not particularly flattering. I’m not so fond of the sheen or the colour.
