Nobel Prize ceremony & 2017 Nobel Laureates Dinner

The Nobel Prize ceremony was held in Stockholm, Sweden on Sunday (December 10) followed by the 2017 Nobel Laureates Dinner on Monday (December 11) at the Stockholm Royal Palace.

First up, the Nobel Prize Ceremony’s head-turning looks.

Alice Bah: As the Swedish Minister of Culture & Democracy, Alice made a statement—quite literally—with her Bea Szenfeld & Naim Josefi gown. The designers created the look for more than just sartorial impact, as it was designed to highlight the melting arctic. The sculptural shoulders could certainly be described as glacial, with the liquid-white effect of the dress completing the picture that had serious undertones to its whimsy.

Princess Sofia of Sweden: The new mother was positively glowing in this Ida Lanto lace confection that was beautifully rendered in a soft, mauve-gray hue. She opted to re-wear her wedding-day tiara here—and when it’s that striking, I say why not.

King Harald and Queen Sonja of Norway’s 80th Birthdays

The celebration for the 80th birthdays of King Harald and Queen Sonja of Norway was held on Tuesday (May 9) at the Royal Palace in Oslo, Norway, with many royals in attendance.

Princess Tatiana of Greece: No need for royal blue when the shade of green is this regal. The asymmetric one-shoulder silhouette and the bell sleeves of her Celia Kritharioti gown only heightened the sleek, majestic quality.

Princess Sofia of Sweden: A study in embellished elegance, Princess Sofia was striking in an embossed black Oscar de la Renta gown.

Prince Carl Philip Of Sweden And Princess Sofia of Sweden’s Wedding Guests

Prince Carl Philip Of Sweden And Princess Sofia of Sweden's Wedding Guests

Princess Sofia of Sweden and Prince Carl Philip of Sweden welcomed guests to their wedding at The Royal Palace in Stockholm, Sweden on Saturday (June 13).

Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden: Escorted by husband Prince Daniel of Sweden, Princess Victoria swept onto the scene in an H&M gown from the Conscious Collection that was most magnificent for its watery, painterly hues that were well-coordinated to her regalia. A decorative Connaught tiara, worn by her for the very first time, added sparkling royal flair to the look. If the dress looks familiar, it’s because Olivia Wilde wore the skirt version at the 2015 Elle Style Awards.

Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway: Pretty in pink, she brought a wave of feminine, summery spirit in a Temperley London gown most notable for the vibrant orchid print that decorated the ball skirt.

Princess Leonore of Sweden’s Christening

Princess Leonore's Royal Christening in Sweden

Royals attended the christening of Princess Leonore of Sweden held at the Royal Chapel at Drottningholm Palace on Sunday (June 8) in Stockholm, Sweden.

Princess Madeleine of Sweden: Wearing a typical feminine, elegant, and oh so ladylike Valentino lace dress detailed with a delicate scalloped hem in a pretty pink hue, she added a matching veil and tonal heels.

Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden: Also opting for pink, Victoria was the picture of feminine elegance wearing a Dolce & Gabbana pale-rose jacquard dress nipped in at the waist with a crystal-embellished belt. Wearing the same tonal heels, she added a matching Bottega Veneta clutch and a Philip Treacy turban-like headpiece. You may remember that Camila Alves wore this same dress earlier this year.

The Wedding Of Princess Madeleine & Christopher O'Neill

Princess Madeleine of Sweden wed Christopher O’Neill in a ceremony held in her native Stockholm, Sweden earlier today.

Christopher O’Neill did his best to hold back tears at the vision of his lovely bride-to-be, who looked simply breathtaking as she glided down the aisle wearing a Valentino Garavani gown.

She was the picture of a perfect princess in her stunning silk organza gown with appliquéd ivory-hued Chantilly lace. See more details of the dress here.

Madeleine’s accessories included ivory white organdie shoes with woven point d’esprit dots and a privately owned tiara decorated with sprigs of orange blossom.

The bridal bouquet consisted of classic white garden roses: Austin roses, Schneewittchen, Winchester Cathedral and Alabaster, as well as lilies of the valley and the traditional myrtle from Sofiero.
