Tyra Banks toned down from last years event where she was easily one of the worst dress, to one of the Best Dressed of this event – which wasn’t that much of a challenge.

The TV presenter arrived on the red carpet wearing a coral one-shoulder Rachel Roy Resort 2010 dress, with beige Manolo Blahnik heels and a Sang A nude clutch.

I’m loving the natural look she’s giving us these days, it’s so refreshing and it totally suits her.

She was able strike the right balance of elegance & sophistication.

Ashley Jones wore a flowing backless Matthew Williamson for H&M Summer 2009 floral gown.

Some of you may have this dress in your closets if you were lucky enough to buy this gown before it sold out.

I love the tiered ruffled skirt and the neutral accessories she paired with her gown.

Portia de Rossi’s navy off-the-shoulder Monique Lhullier Resort 2010 gown is absolutely stunning in its simplicity.

My only disappointment is that opted for thong sandals to complete her Grecian look.

She’s married to Ellen DeGeneres not Tom Cruise, surely Ellen wouldn’t object to her wearing heels.

I much prefer Heather Tom’s choice of this navy Zac Posen Pre-Fall 2009 fringed dress, as I feel the burnt orange colour wouldn’t have been flattering to her colouring.

The dress is exquisite which she pairs with Christian Dior heels.

Lara Spencer wore a black and white asymmetrical ruffled gown accented with a red belt.

Her gown was a bold choice and will no doubt have you on the fence, but I was crushing on her Valentino Couture red patent bow peep-toes which was on my favourites list last week.

Lori Loughlin elegantly posed on the red carpet wearing a peachy satin asymmetrical Enzoani gown with embellished details on the shoulder and hip.

Gold tone accessories including Loree Rodkin jewels, Renee Caovilla heels, and Bottega Venetta purse completed her look.

Jennie Garth channeled old Hollywood with her wavy ‘do and vibrant orange Issa gown accented with a sparkling brooch.

She sparkled with silver accessories.

Kirsten Storms sported a wavy ‘do as she walked the red carpet wearing a Tadashi Shoji navy silk chiffon one shoulder gown with white silk organza rosette strap.

Her look was paired with a navy Kotur clutch.

Rachael Ray was one of the winners of the night.

She walked the red carpet wearing a plum draped halter dress with a gold coil neckline.  She was one of the few to opt out of wearing a gown.

Susan Lucci is very much the Queen of daytime soaps.

The Queen shone brightly as she sparkled in a coral embellished halter neck Zuhair Murad gown.

Gina Tognoni looked sensational in this raspberry bow tied gown with a ruffled cascading down the front of her gown.

Like the dress, but I’m not crazy the hair.

Marcy Rylan opted for the mothers-to-be favourite red carpet Peas In A Pod gown.

This rose gown with a rosette detail on the shoulder, was also worn by Kimora Lee Simmons.

Kristen Alfonso attracted me with her stunning electric blue one-shouldered gown.

The embellished neckline is also exquisite.

Nadia Bjorlin was oozing sexy glamour wearing a backless gown, with a gold embellished detail draping from her neck and down her back.

Taylor Spreitler’s fuschia pink one-shouldered gown was one of my favourites.

It’s’ simple, colourful and she didn’t over accessorize her look.

Michelle Stafford strapless floral black and white gown is beautiful.

I love any dress that give a woman this stunning Jessica Rabbit/mermaid silhouette.

Stacy Haiduk was the joker of the night as she carried a cat purse on the red carpet.

April 20th, 2009

Jennifer Beals star of The L Word, made the greatest effort for this event.

The stunning star walked the red carpet wearing a stunning yellow and white floral chiffon David Meister gown.

The mermaid gown gives her a stunning silhouette.

Very surprisingly Teri Hatcher is not wearing Monique Lhuillier, instead she’s wearing a spaghetti strapped Notte by Marchesa gold lamé tweed dress.

Her whole look was golden, from her jewelry, to her clutch, to her heels. Heck even her body bronzer is gold.

I adore Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ bright orange Michael Kors Fall 2009 sheath dress, with a sexy slit going up the side.

I love the coral pink lips, and the fact that none of her accessories are black.

The orange box clutch, gold jewelry, and nude peep-toes complete this fantastic look. I’m gushing.

Andrea Bowen for once looks absolutely outstanding wearing this purplicious silk moire Rebecca Taylor strapless dress.

I love the sweetheart neckline, the pleating on the skirt, the lighter blonde hair and her shimmering pink lips.

She looks fabulous.

Kathy Griffin has been surprising me lately. This is the second time in a row I’ve loved what she is wearing on the red carpet.

This pretty pink Dolce & Gabbana Resort 2008 dress is gorgeous. Plus I love the fuschia bow, and those fuschia pink Louboutin’s are to die for.

What I hate is her hairstyle. Nothing will make me love that hairstyle. It’s like a mullet gone horribly wrong.

Rebecca Gayheart’s one-sleeved LBD by Kaufman Franco may look quite plain and simple from the front, but it has a very sexy leather strapped detail on the back.

Brenda Strong wore a red satin David Meister strapless cocktail dress with bow accent at the waist.

Her ruby lips complimented the dress.

Portia de Rossi wore tan shoes with her red asymmetrical Michael Kors dress, which wouldn’t have been my choice, but she makes it work.

Ellen DeGeneres does her laid back chic look, which works so well for her.

20th Annual GLAAD Media Awards, New York

Vanessa Williams continues to astound me on the red carpet.

Some would say a woman of her age shouldn’t wear this Matthew Williamson silk asymmetric drape dress, but I say boo to that, because she is wearing it a lot better than girls half her age could.

Fierce, and she knows it. Love it, love her.

OMG, I didn’t know Ana Ortiz was expecting.

My isn’t she glowing in this white off-the-shoulder dress?

Tyra Banks’ Georges Chakra couture tuxedo shows off a much slender frame.

Portia de Rossi and Ellen Degeneres pose with their awards in the press room.

Ellen in a navy blue chic suit with comfortable sneakers, and Portia wore a strapless black Bottega Veneta Pre-Fall 2009 dress with Stella McCartney mesh basket sandals.

23rd Genesis Awards, LA

Ginnifer Goodwin looks so dreamy in her nude sequined April, May dress with a pretty, ruched organza detail cascading down the front.

Accessories were kept to a minimum, with a stunning pair of Daniel Swarovski statement earrings, a gold shimmering clutch and pointy heels.

She looks so elegant, and so feminine, but like you, I wish she crack a smile once in a while.

Best look of this event.

Emily Deschanel sprung into spring wearing a fresh, citrus orange satin shift dress.

Stunning gold accessories, and black pumps complete her look.

Tiffany Fallon wore a black top under her plunging Alexander McQueen cap sleeve jumpsuit.

Maggie Q red carpet appearance are now few and far between, but she still knows how to make an impact. The actress wore a dangerously deep plunging orange jersey BCBG dress, which nears her belly button.

2009 Empire Awards, London

Gemma Arterton had one good week, then reverted back to what we have come to expect from her – a complete and utter mess.

I will only assume she didn’t look in the mirror once she put on this off-the-shoulder Halston Spring 2009 dress, because it’s unflattering, and totally washes her out.

OK, ankle boots are the new red carpet trend, but they’re so wrong with this dress.

Olga Kurylenko who won Best Newcomer at this awards do, wore a very uninspiring all black ensemble.

“Monsters vs. Aliens” South Korea Premiere

Han Ye-Seul stepped in for Reese Witherspoon, wearing a nude Fendi Spring 2009 dress. It’s so pretty, and looks so delicate against her pale skin.

The floral appliqué’s add some texture to the dress, which she wears with nude strappy sandals.

L’Etoile nightclub, Paris

Dita von Teese enjoys a night out wearing a emerald green satin Malandrino Fall 2008 dress, with matching heels.

The plunge-neck dress has a tulip skirt, and a black belt with a green marble buckle. Her look is complete with trademark red lips and nails, plus a Christian Louboutin shoe clash clutch.

35th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, LA

I am shaking my head in disbelief as there is so much wrong here.

I dislike this Georges Chakra couture gown Tyra Banks immensely.

Firstly the embroidery on her dress are as thick as those pretzels you can buy from New York street vendors.

The lace train which falls from the side of the dress, in order to give her a slimmer silhouette, only draws attention to her hips.

We all know that Tyra wears lace wigs, but I hate the shade, as it looks like it was chosen to match her dress.

Emmy winning actress Jennifer Landon, opted for this coral Marchesa Resort 2008 gown, which had a beautiful gold embroidery detail on the bust.

This dress deserved to be a winner.

Eva Pigford picked a similar Marchesa dress in colour and and style.

I hope the two ladies did not stand too close to each other.

If I had to pick, my favourite from these two dresses, I am not sure which one I would choose.

Gina Tognoni wore a stunning fire engine red mermaid gown, that was fit for her toned body.

Actor Cameron Mathison arrived with his wife Vanessa Arevalo, who was drop dead gorgeous in this white Roberto Cavalli gown.

Gina Gershon wore the same dress in black last week to the Tony Awards.

Rachel Ray was simple, yet oh so elegant in this black Donna Karan dress with gold haltered detail.

The soon-to-be Mrs & Mrs DeGeneres arrived looking very much in love to this event.

Ellen DeGeneres wore a stylish Dolce & Gabbana ensemble that was typically Ellen, whilst her partner Portia de Rossi, was stunning in this satin emerald green Lanvin gown.

Susan Lucci arrived in an azure blue Carlos Miele strapless gown.

This woman just gets better with age.

I adore this cobalt blue dress on Sherri Shepherd. Great choice as the colour really pops.

I would have preferred this dress as a halter though.

Chef Giada De Laurentiis is wearing one of my favourite designers, Giambattista Valli.

Niecy Nash works it out in this lemon yellow Nicole Miller strapless dress.

This Ella Zahlan Spring 2008 Couture dress is amazing on Ashley Jones. I truly adore it and it is one of my favourites from this event.

It gives her such a sexy silhouette.

Uomo Vogue Party, Milan

Claudia Schiffer was by far the most beautifully dressed at the event, wearing a pink satin one-shouldered Versace Fall 2008 dress.

The supermodel teamed her dress with violet clutch and bronze strappy sandals.

Tilda Swinton should have been the face of YSL new collection, as she wears the collection well.

The British actress wore a stunning black sequined coat from the YSL Fall 2008 with black tapered trousers and YSL heels.

Janet Jackson, here with Donatella and Allegra Versace, wore a stunning pink empire-waist gown, with her hair tied back.

The Versace women, both opted for black. Donatella wore a black satin strapless gown that did not appear on the runway and Allegra wore a black tiered dress, with a sequined lace overlay.

I always find it so ironic that Naomi Campbell gives the camera those, “butter won’t melt” looks, when we all know what she is capable of.

Naomi opted for all black at this event. Her cute Dolce & Gabbana dress had ruffles on the shoulders.

Esther Canadas, my first model girl crush, arrived at this event wearing a summery dress from the Roberto Cavalli Fall 2008 with white satin shoes.

The girl who made big lips sexy, has not lost any of her sex appeal.

Were Esther went ultra feminine, Eva Herzigova opted for a very opposite masculine look, with her black tuxedo.

The supermodel pulls off this look very well, especially with the ruffled shirt.

Actor Adrien Brody arrived with actress/model Elsa Pataky.

The actress wore a dress that was incredibly see-through, but without compromising her modesty.

“Get Smart” Premiere, Australia

The last time we saw Anne Hathaway in red was at the 2008 Oscars. It is a great colour on her, and she works it again this Zac Posen dress.

I am preferring the close up to the long shot, as I am not crazy about her shoes with this dress.

Edinburgh Festival Photocall, Scotland

Tilda Swinton again in an ensemble from the YSL Fall 2008 collection, that I do not think many could pull off.

The shirt looks a little big, and I would have preferred this look a lot better had Tilda worn the same belt that appeared on the runway.

What I do love are her platformed heels, which are also YSL.

Stone of Destiny Premiere, Scotland

For this premiere Tilda Swinton opted for a very classic look.

The strawberry blonde actress wore this stunning black Dior Fall 2008 skirt suit, which had beautiful embroidery on the jacket.

Tilda is very versatile, in that she can do edgy and classic.

This silver Monique Lhuillier strapless dress that Kate Mara wore is incredibly popular, as both Kristin Cavallari and Jada Pinkett Smith wore the same dress last week.

The actress opted for the same belt as Kristin, but wore her dress with gold gladiator heels.

Versace Menswear Spring 2009, Milan

Anna Wintour appears to love this Oscar de la Renta Resort 2009 print, as she has the same dress in blue, which she wore to the Sex And The City New York premiere.

Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2009, Milan

Fergie shields her eyes from the paparazzi bulbs, as she takes in this Dolce & Gabbana menswear show.

Shopping for her fiance I guess.

The Ralph Lauren Wimbledon Garden Party, London

Camilla Belle is as chic as always, in this black and white Oscar de la Renta Resort 2009 dress.

Tamara Beckwith opted to wear her Ralph Lauren Spring 2008 striped blazer, with black jeans and Christian Louboutin heels.

February 25th, 2008

Without the Vanity Fair party, the only real party that brought out the stars was Elton John’s Annual AIDS Foundation Party.

Unfortunately the likes of Katie Holmes, Kate Hudson, Uma Thurman did not attend and most of those celebrities who walked the red carpet wore the same dress to the parties, so there was not the opportunity to see them in a second set of dresses.

Ziyi Zhang was by far the best dressed at this event wearing a ruffled electric blue Armani Privé Spring 2008 strapless dress.

Sharon Stone made up for her Dior disaster last week, by wearing a white tuxedo from the Christian Dior Spring 2008 collection.

I like the way she has made this sexy, by not wearing a shirt under her waistcoat.

Kate Beckinsale is wearing one of my favourite dresses from the Versace Couture Spring 2008 collection. This is very sexy and un-prom-like look for Kate.

Eva Herzigova looked stunning in this canary yellow Versace Couture Spring 2008 one shouldered gown. Her jewels were from Chopard.

Actress Zoe Saldana has been wearing a lot of stunning dress lately and this J. Mendel Spring 2008 gown with flower detail is no exception.

Portia de Rossi looks stunning in this late coloured Lanvin Spring 2008 dress, although her sun-burnt orange eyebrows are killing me.

Ellen DeGeneres loves to wear suits, and she is looking very dapper in this grey Dior suit with white shoes.

Heidi Klum put away her Dior dress for sake keeping, and stepped out in this stunning metallic Roberto Cavalli Spring 2008 mini dress.

Courtney Love dressed up in this jeweled neckline ivory white satin Lanvin dress, which slightly washes her out.

Mary J Blige wore this aubergine, shoulder embellished dress to perform at this event with host Elton John.

She later changed into this ombre gown, to enjoy the party with the other guests.

Both dresses were equally amazing on the R&B diva, but I preferred this gown.

Sofia Vergara picks up were Salma Hayek left off, in the sexiest buxom babe on the red carpet.

She looks amazing wearing this emerald green Versace dress, which she is in danger of spilling out of.

Designer Monique Lhuillier wore a stunning hybrid of her own designs from her Spring 2008 & Fall 2008 collection.

Terri Seymour attended this event with her boyfriend Simon Cowell.

She is wearing a Loris Azzaro 1970s goddess style dress in apricot sorbet jersey with a ruched bodice from Rare Vintage.

Like Portia, the eyebrows are too thick for my liking.

Natalie Maines of The Dixie Chicks showed us her sexy legs by wearing this interesting aubergine gathered mini Alexander McQueen Fall 2007 dress.

Either it is the lipstick with the Roberto Cavalli dress, or the dress with the lipstick, but something is not working here for Petra Nemcova.

I think it’s the lipstick.

Minnie Driver is a tad boring in chocolate.

She usually makes a effort to stand out as at these events.

I was pleasantly surprised to see singer Nadine Coyle from UK pop band Girls Aloud on the red carpet at this event.

She wore a gorgeous chocolate embellished chiffon dress with golden peep-toes.

Portia de Rossi wore this Azzaro dress to the Emmy Awards last month.

I wore the same dress to the Fashion Rocks Event last week.

Who wore it better? I hate to be bias, but I choose ME ;)
