Poppy Delevigne In Dolce & Gabbana – Bvlgari Celebrates 130 Years In Rome

Poppy Delevigne In Dolce & Gabbana - Bvlgari Celebrates 130 Years In Rome

Poppy Delevingne attended ‘Bvlgari Celebrates 130 Years In Rome’ held at Via Condotti on Thursday (March 20) in Rome, Italy.

The socialite donned a head-to-toe Dolce & Gabbana look featuring a sheer black top with red polka dots and an ivory skirt stamped with an illustration of Ancient Sicily.

Not allowing this artisanal skirt to make a statement on its own, she added Dolce & Gabbana wedges and a gold sequin clutch, opting not to add the gold medallion belt we saw on the runway.

This is not an easy look to pull off. Poppy just about managed it, but unfortunately the necklace provided to her by the host doesn’t quite work with the look for me.

Chrissy Tiegen: The ‘Sports Illustrated’ model looked stunning once again wearing a Naeem Khan Fall 2014 black miyuki-beaded strapless sweetheart gown with satin skirt which she styled with Jimmy Choo ‘Mariah’ sandals.

Chanel Iman: Electric-blue and sequins? Chanel had me at hello in this show-stopping Zuhair Murad Fall 2013 Couture gown.

Poppy Delevingne: Someone needs to tell Poppy that dark decadence isn’t her thing. This Dolce & Gabbana gown would look outstanding on Monica Bellucci or Angelina Jolie, but I don’t buy this on Poppy. A rouge lip, red satin pointy pumps and a Jimmy Choo ‘Charlize’ clutch completed her look.

Poppy Delevingne In Emilia Wickstead – Out In London

Poppy Delevingne In Emilia Wickstead - Out In London

Following her turn on the red carpet at Tuesday’s Elle Style Awards, Poppy Delevingne was seen heading home from Claridge’s Hotel in the same outfit early this morning (February 19).

Dubbed the walk of shame, we at least got to see the full Emilia Wickstead Fall 2014 look in action, as the model donned the metallic-grey-and-white floral-print oversized coat.

Opting for sunglasses when the sun hasn’t shone in London for quite some time now, the walk of shame has never looked so stylish.

Poppy Delevigne In Emilia Wickstead - Elle Style Awards 2014

Poppy Delevingne confirmed her status as a trend-setter at the 2014 Elle Style Awards held at London’s One Embankment (February 18) by wearing an Emilia Wickstead Fall 2014 outfit seen only just a few days ago on a London Fashion Week catwalk.

Breaking away from her usually pretty palette, Poppy opted for much more grown-up shade of ochre which was certainly refreshing.

It was also great to see Poppy break away from her usual look and opt for a cropped lace high-necked long sleeve top with mid-length pencil skirt.

While I’m thoroughly enjoying seeing London’s socialite scene experiment with ladylike looks by Emilia, I do however think the skirt looks a little frumpy which is surprising considering Poppy’s super slender frame.

Overall this is a well thought-out look even though slightly unexpected, but I know Poppy has much more to offer. Do you agree?

Burberry Prorsum Fall 2014 Womenswear Show

Burberry Prorsum Fall 2014 Womenswear Show

The Burberry Prorsum Fall 2014 fashion show took place during London Fashion Week this afternoon (February 17).

As we’ve come to expect, the hottest ticket in town attracted a lot of celebrity faces, some of whom also attended the menswear show last month. Bradley Cooper didn’t take to the red carpet, but you can see him seated next to Anna Wintour below.

Paloma Faith: After working a summery BDOTY-worthy look for the menswear show, Paloma was in a more Fall-like mood. Wearing pieces from the Pre-Fall 2013 collection including a London landscape printed tee and green jacquard pencil skirt, she wore the same maroon hat she wore for her last red carpet appearance, but it worked much better on this occasion when styled with a matching coat.

Naomie Harris: While the coat-and-open-toe-sandals fashion police may not favour this look, I have to say I’m loving the chic combo of the velvet devore coat with the chartreuse velvet sandal. Did I say love? Yes, LOVE.
