Pink In Off-White – The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

There was of course a musical element to Pink’s appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ which aired in the US on Thursday (October 12).

She was there to promote her latest album, ‘Beautiful Trauma’ (released today), and she also performed a comedic “#FallSongs” sketch with The Roots band.

Living up to her rock chick persona, Pink wore an electric-blue Off-White Fall 2017 ruffled cut-out dress, which she styled with a slashed bandeau and over-the-knee boots.

Some might feel there is too much going on, but I love how she put her own stamp on this look and made it her own.

Pink In Gucci – Out In New York City

Rocking a platinum swirled ’do and all the shades of the rainbow, Pink was seen out in New York City on Tuesday (July 11).

I loved seeing this Gucci Pre-Fall 2017 plisse skirt outside of its extravagant lookbook styling, as it’s such a striking, colourful piece.

In that spirit, Pink let the skirt take top billing by solely pairing it with a simple black tank for a fun summery look with her Charlotte Olympia ‘The Girl Who Fell To Earth Maggy’ clutch contributing a clever, whimsical finish.

I’m sure the Gucci ‘Angel’ platforms will raise an eyebrow (or many of them), but at least they were nude to direct less attention to the floor.

Pink In Valentino – 63rd Annual BMI Pop Awards

Pink In Valentino - 63rd Annual BMI Pop Awards

Pink attended the 63rd Annual BMI Pop Awards held at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel on Monday (May 12) in Beverly Hills, California as a honouree.

Her Valentino floor-sweeping silk gown is a true statement piece, instantly dramatic with a tonal cape at the back.

However, both the thick ruching at the waist and invisibility of her arms are putting me off this look.

This worked better as a performance piece.

Pink In Michael Kors – 2nd Annual Unite4:humanity Event

Pink In Michael Kors - 2nd Annual Unite4humanity Event

Pink attended the 2nd Annual unite4:humanity Event held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Thursday (February 19) in Beverly Hills, California.

While I haven’t been the greatest fan of Pink’s style, what she wore always made sense and suited her rocker persona.

This … this doesn’t make much sense to me.

While I love the bohemian spirit of this chiffon floral-print Michael Kors Resort 2015 dress, it doesn’t translate too well on Pink, coming off as too mumsy/matronly, which the high neck and length support.

Factor in that this dress was previously worn by Nicole Kidman (to which it’s better suited), my confusion about this choice by Pink deepens.

The look was styled well with black satin Giuseppe Zanotti pumps, purple drop earrings and a purple Edie Parker clutch.

Confused or admiring this change in direction?

Armani Privé Fall 2014 Front Row

Armani Privé Fall 2014 Front Row

Giorgio Armani packed the front row with celebs for the Armani Privé Fall 2014 show held at the Théâtre National de Chaillot on Tuesday (July 8) in Paris, France during Haute Couture Fashion Week.

Kate Hudson: Oozing with A-list glamour, the actress stunned wearing an Armani Privé Spring 2014 embellished long-sleeved V-neck jumpsuit accented with a silk scarf with a brooch-like detail on the shoulder. The only thing which lets this look down for me is the shower/gym-bun hairstyle.

Pink: We don’t usually see the singer at Couture week, so could this signal a change in style? We will have to wait and see. Pink wore an Armani black satin dress with a beaded bodice which was perhaps too tent-like for my liking.
