Best Dressed Of The Week – Penelope Cruz In Armani Privé & Zoe Saldana In Armani Privé

Armani Privé had an amazing week dressing many stars for Cannes and premieres.

Three appeared in the BDOTW poll, with two clear winners.

You voted for Penelope Cruz who looked the best she’s looked all year wearing an iridescent Armani Privé red gown while carrying a sparkling matching clutch.

I was excited about Zoe Saldana being at Cannes the second she touched down at Nice airport and she didn’t let me down.

She opted for a stunning red and white Armani Privé strapless gown, which quickly became my favourite look from the 2011 Cannes Film Festival.

Penelope Cruz In Armani Privé – “Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” Madrid Premiere

Penelope Cruz smoldered on the red carpet last night for the “Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” Madrid Premiere.

She opted to wear yet another Armani Privé gown, this time it was black.

The black elegant gown with a black floral lace sleeves with the same detail embroidered onto the bodice showcases what a fine figure of a woman she is.

A black satin Swarovski clutch and silver jewels completed her look.

Penelope Cruz In Hakaan – “Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” Madrid Photocall

Penelope Cruz is still promoting her latest movie, “Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.”

The Spanish actress attended a photocall in Madrid today wearing a Hakaan Fall 2011 jumpsuit.

Her navy pocket jumpsuit is a very stylish choice for her, but I wish the pants were an inch or two shorter.

Chopard jewels completed her look.

Penelope Cruz In Armani Privé – “Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” Munich Premiere

We have yet another Armani Privé gown on the red carpet tonight.

Penelope Cruz was flying solo at the “Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” Munich Premiere in Germany today.

The Spanish actress looked gorgeous wearing a red hot Armani Privé Spring 2011 gown.

Her red organza long sleeved v-neck gown with a high back slit was presented as a short sleeve off-the-shoulder dress.

Both version work for me, but I’m glad Penelope opted for the long sleeve look as we’ve seen the runway version on Anne Hathaway.

Her matchy matchy look included a red box clutch and satin pumps.

This is now my favourite look so far from Penelope during her promotional tour.

It’s definitely a BDOTW contender, even during Cannes Week.

Penelope Cruz for Vogue US June 2011

Penelope Cruz celebrated the release of her new movie, “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” by landing the cover of American Vogue’s June 2011 issue.

So many of you complained about the overuse of elephants in Reese Witherspoon’s May 2011 editorial, so you’ll be please to discover that there are no Pirate references in Pen’s editorial.

The Spanish actress sports a clean natural look. I had never noticed her cute freckles before.

We see her wearing nothing but white Dolce & Gabbana pieces throughout her editorial, which showcases her outstanding figure making it hard to believe that she had a baby late last year.

Penelope’s June issue of Vogue hits stores nationwide May 24.

Here are some extracts from her interview.

On motherhood: “From the first second, you feel so much love. It is a revolutionary experience. That’s the best way I can describe it. It transforms you completely, in a second. Nature is very wise and gives you nine months to prepare, but in that moment—when you see that face, you are transformed forever.” Read More…

Penelope Cruz In Marchesa – 2011 Cannes Film Festival “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” Premiere

That’s my girl.

On a red carpet full of models and other actresses, it was Penelope Cruz who stood out at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” Premiere this evening.

I had my fingers and toes crossed that she wouldn’t let us down, and she didn’t wearing a breath-taking Marchesa Fall 2011 gown.

Her gown with tufts of tulle on the shoulders and flowing tulle train had a bedazzling embroidered details. This gown was made for a stage like this.

Her on-again, off-again bangs are back.

A gold Swarovski clutch and subtle Chopard jewels completed her look.

PS. I’ve just seen the back and I really dislike the exposed zipper.
