Penelope Cruz In L’Wren Scott – 60th San Sebastian Film Festival

Penelope Cruz attended the 60th San Sebastian Film Festival in Spain earlier today.

She wore two looks by her favourite designer, L’Wren Scott.

The Spanish actress arrived at the Maria Cristina Hotel wearing a L’Wren Scott black-and-white embroidered cardigan with cropped black pants.

Later this evening she slipped into a fitted L’Wren Scott dress for the ‘Venuto al Mondo (Volver A Nacer)’ photocall.

Her feminine floral-print dress with a V-neckline was accessorized with a pink Loewe clutch.

For both looks, Penelope wore black satin Ferragamo pumps from the Red Carpet Collection.

Even with black pumps, I can’t fault either look.

Penelope Cruz In Vintage Atelier Versace – ‘Twice Born’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Even though I have spent the last week oohing and ahhing over stunning gowns during New York Fashion Week, Penelope Cruz came very close to topping them all when she hit the red carpet last night at the ‘Twice Born’ Toronto Film Festival premiere.

I’m floored by how gorgeous the Spanish actress is wearing an Atelier Versace gown.

Her vintage Gianni Versace pink gown with draped details and a sexy thigh-high split is the way to do uber sexy in a tasteful, glamorous way.

A Swarovski’s colorful crystal Rosette bangle, nude Versace platform sandals, gold earrings and a Swarovski gold crystal Starlight clutch accessorized her look.

I love the neutral makeup and the side-swept glossy locks which provided the finishing touches.

Penelope Cruz In Emilio Pucci – ‘Twice Born’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Penelope Cruz has finally graced the 2012 Toronto Film Festival with her presence.

The Spanish actress, who has been known to sport a masculine look on the odd occasion, opted to wear an Emilio Pucci Fall 2012 suit to the ‘Twice Born’ photocall on Thursday.

Her tuxedo-inspired look consisted of a purple double-breasted blazer and black lapels and cuffs paired with sleek black pants.

Penelope styled her look with suede platform pumps and drop earrings while voluminous glossy locks and flawless makeup provided the finishing touches.

I wish the blazer had been left buttoned.

Penelope Cruz for W Magazine September 2012

Penelope Cruz looked typically gorgeous on the cover of W Magazine’s September 2012 issue to promote her upcoming movie ‘Venuto al Mondo’.

Channelling her inner 80s supermodel, Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott capture her unique beauty wearing a Givenchy navy turtleneck with a spectacular Lynn Ban 18k gold-plate and lapis necklace and Yves Saint Laurent gloves.

Inside the magazine, Penelope discusses her first audition, her cinematic soulmate Pedro Almodovar, her first meeting with Woody Allen and the key to doing comedy.

On whether it was complicated for her and co-star Javier Bardem to speak Spanish in Vicky Cristina Barcelona, when director Woody Allen didn’t speak the language: “He gave us the script he wrote in English, and he gave us the freedom to translate and improvise. Woody told me recently that he still doesn’t know if we are talking about the atomic bomb. And it’s the same thing in To Rome With Love—he doesn’t speak Italian. I translated my lines. Who Wore L’Wren Scott Better…Penelope Cruz or Ellen Barkin?

Two L’Wren Scott devotees were spotted wearing the same emerald-green dress from the designer’s Fall 2012 collection mere months apart.

Penelope Cruz was first to wear this green dress with gold embellishments when she made a guest appearance on the ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’ show in New York City back in June.

The actress paired the look with a classic pair of nude platform heels and left her voluminous locks down.

Her feminine figure fits the classic wrap dress to a tee and she looks stunning, as per usual.

However, does she beat L’Wren Scott’s biggest fan, Ellen Barkin?

Ellen Barkin wore the same dress on Saturday for ‘Comedy Central Roast of Roseanne Barr’ at the Hollywood Palladium in LA. She styled the long-sleeved dress with an interesting choice of purple croc pumps, a pink lip colour and a slicked back French roll ’do for a very elegant red-carpet look.

While both stars do the designer justice in this L’Wren Scott design, I’m partial to go with Penelope on this one.

She wears a near-identical look to the runway version, and keeps the bow at the waistline.

Penelope Cruz In Emilio Pucci – ‘To Rome With Love’ New York Screening

Following her appearance on ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’ in New York City on Wednesday, Penelope Cruz hit the red carpet for a special screening of her latest film, ‘To Rome With Love’.

Penelope looked gorgeous wearing an off-the-shoulder Emilio Pucci Pre-Fall 2012 dress.

Her burgundy lace dress with sheer lace sleeves was also enriched with crystal and beaded embellishments.

Between this warm rich colour and the emerald-green hue earlier in the day, I hope that Penelope continues dressing in jewel tones.

Chopard jewels plus satin Jimmy Choo ‘Vibe’ peep-toes and a VBH ‘Manila’ clutch which matched her dress accessorized her look.

A sleek ‘do and smoldering eyes are the perfect complement.
