Penelope Cruz In David Koma – SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversations: ‘The Assassination Of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story’

After her lady-like look at the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic, Penelope Cruz was looking rather sultry at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversations: ‘The Assassination Of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story’ on Monday (June 4) in New York City.

The Spanish actress wore a David Koma Fall 2018 dress styled with Salvatore Ferragamo sandals.

The silhouette may present a straightforward affair, yet the fringed embellishments are far livelier.

Penelope Cruz In Zac Posen – 11th Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic

Penelope Cruz continues to embrace the current season at the 11th Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic held at Liberty State Park on Saturday (June 2) in Jersey City, New Jersey.

Like Sienna Miller, Penelope was also wearing a Resort 2019 look, fresh out of Zac Posen’s showroom.

Aside from the print, I love how the statement style contours the waist and falls to a flattering, fluted hem that dances just above the ankles -in tune with this season’s penchant for midi lengths- which is mimicked in the sleeve detailing.

The lady-like charm was further imbued with her Carpisa top handle bag and Charlotte Olympia sandals.

Penelope Cruz In Christian Dior Couture – Atelier Swarovski Fine Jewelry Collection Preview

Atelier Swarovski and special guest Penélope Cruz celebrated the preview of the actress’s first Atelier Swarovski Fine Jewelry collection with an exclusive luncheon during the 2018 Cannes Film Festival on Thursday (May 10).

Penélope’s go-to colour may be black, but Cannes has seen her lighten the mood on her last two times out. And, you won’t find me complaining.

This Christian Dior Spring 2018 Couture white frock had such a delightful femininity of form with buoyant whimsy afforded in the swingy, wave hemline.

Of course, classic elegance was fully accounted for. And, while you may have expected a more dramatic presentation of jewels, her sapphire earrings were altogether striking without going overboard.

She likewise took the opportunity for a refreshing change of pace in the effortless updo to better showcase said Swarovski jewels.

Vanity Fair France x Chanel

It was a sea of short hemlines at the Vanity Fair France x Chanel dinner during the Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday evening (May 9) in France.

Kristen Stewart: The Cannes jury member and Chanel brand ambassador brought her own carefree, edgy mood to this textured Pre-Fall 2017 mini. With its bow detail, it would have likely carried a prim sentiment but her styling gives it insouciant cool.

Penelope Cruz: She lightened things up with floaty tiers of pale blue with a Chanel Spring 2018 dress. Alluring glamour is usually her M.O. so this sweet statement was a change of pace, but she carried off. The champagne accessories added to the ethereal ensemble, but I find myself wishing for a sandal.

Chloe Sevigny: Offering a vampy mood, she showcased plenty of leg in the inky Chanel Spring 2018 frock. The multicolored tufts decorating the sleeves and hem carried a bewitching charm rather than unabashed sensuality that is often showcased with LBDs. Like Penelope, her well-considered styling allowed for a strong, singular statement.

‘355’ Cannes Film Festival Photocall

After first seeing a photoshoot with Penelope Cruz, Marion Cotillard, Jessica Chastain, Lupita Nyong’o and Fan Bingbing on Elizabeth Stewart’s instagram, I thought the ladies were promoting a beauty line or jewelry, as they were all decked out in black.

Turns out the ladies are actually promoting their spy thriller ‘355’ during Cannes Film Festival this afternoon (May 10).

Can our hearts take two mega Girl Power promo tours this year (the other being Ocean’s 8)?

It can, and it will.

Penelope Cruz: Despite the famous Devil Wears Prada quote, I’m all in when it comes to florals for spring and summer, especially when it breaks up the mostly-black run the Spanish actress has opted for during this festival. Her Ralph Lauren Collection Spring 2018 maxi was such a refreshing choice.

Marion Cotillard: The edgier side to Marion came out to play again today in this Chanel Pre-Fall 2018 LBD styled with Chanel cuffs. The Nicholas Kirkwood Casati over-the-knee biker boots drag this look down a bit. I would’ve loved a open-toe bootie.

Jessica Chastain: Elegance personified, the actress always looks right at home during Cannes Film Festival. The best part of her Wolk Morais look is the gorgeous draped detail at the back. Jimmy Choo ‘Hourly’ sandals completed her look.

Lupita Nyong’o: Fresh of her successful promo tour for ‘Black Panther’ the actress was wearing all black donning a Miu Miu collection dress. Styled with Lace up ankle booties and Fendi shades, I do love this look, but I’m missing Lupita in bold colours. APM Monaco’s Mono silver moon earrings completed her look.

Fan Bingbing: I was worried that we wouldn’t see the Asian actress at the festival this year as she’s no longer and L’Oreal or Chopard ambassador. What would Cannes be without Fan Bingbing? Decked out in all white Osman Spring 2018, the white shirt might aim to bring balance to this look, but it’s all about the feather skirt. I’m living for this daytime drama. The shoes? Hmmm.
