Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Peaches Geldof In Julien Macdonald - NME Awards 2014Peaches Geldof joined Laura Whitmore at the NME Awards 2014, hosted Wednesday (February 26) at the Bixton Academy in London, England.

Perhaps taking a page out of Laura’s shiny fashion playbook, Peaches did go for the glitz in an expectedly showy, sapphire and black Julien Macdonald Fall 2013 frock.

Loaded with the razzle-dazzle of embellishment and the sexy appeal of jagged, peekaboo cutouts, the itsy-bitsy party dress was nothing if not an attention-stealer.

She did take the look in another direction by adding some grunge to that glitter with a tough-girl, J Brand ‘Aiah’ black leather jacket. Punk style showed up, too, given the pink tips of her dip-dyed blonde locks.

The biggest surprise here may have been the anomaly of her rather tame pair of black pumps.

Elle Style Awards

Here are the rest of the looks from the 2013 Elle Style Awards.

Rosamund Pike: The British actress is known for her love of pretty, ultra-feminine dresses, but on this occasion she wore a black Tom Ford suit. Her edgier look was styled with black Nicholas Kirkwood pumps and a Smythson envelope clutch.

Peaches Geldof: The socialite showed off her baby bump wearing a pretty lace frock, which she styled with retro waves, a gorgeous red lip colour and a blue clutch.

Juno Temple: The actress also opted for a black suit, but her McQ Alexander McQueen ensemble had a military-type feel to it. This is probably to do with the shiny gold buttons on her double-breasted peplum jacket.

Peaches Geldof attended the London premiere of ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ at the Odeon Leicester Square yesterday evening with fiancé Thomas Cohen.

The new mum wore an Alberta Ferretti Demi Couture 2012 gown.

I wasn’t surprised to see her wearing a gown from this collection, as the Italian designer seems to be her go-to for major London premieres.

Her grey gown with silver foliage and an illusion neckline is a very glamorous look.

Peaches opted to go light on the makeup sporting cat-eyes and a pink lip colour.

Celebrities gathered in London last night for the Tunnel of Love event in aid of The British Heart Foundation at Proud in Camden.

Pixie Geldof: The TV star opted for a blue shirt dress with mustard-and-cream detailing. She completed her look with Topshop silver shoes and a McQ Alexander McQueen Kingsland transparent shopper. I have never understood the concept of having a bag where the world can see the contents.

Peaches Geldof: The glowing new mum looked radiant wearing a Dolce & Gabbana maxi floral dress which she styled with a red clutch and a gold necklace. I can’t fault a single thing about this look.

Laura Bailey: I don’t care if she’s wearing white shoes on this occasion; I just love her summery Jonathan Saunders Freda degradé jacquard dress. I have been waiting for such a long time for this dress to hit the red carpet.

Daisy Lowe: The model also wore a summery white dotted strapless Dolce & Gabbana. These types of cutesy sugary dresses really suit her quirky style, but her shoe choice could’ve been better.

Peaches Geldof also attended the “One Day” London Premiere at The Vue Westfield last night.

Someone forgot to tell her that it wasn’t her Premiere.

She wore an Alberta Ferretti gown which we would’ve expected to see on Anne Hathaway, the star of the movie.

The British TV presenter styled her hair into a chic bun as she walked the red carpet in her blush crystal embellished tulle gown.

She does look beautiful and serene for a former wild child, but this gown feels too much for a spectator.

I also find it quite hard to take this bad girl gone good act seriously.
