Chloe Sevigny In Miu Miu – ‘Lean On Pete’ Venice Film Festival Photocall & Premiere

Chloe Sevigny was having a Miu Miu moment today (September 1) during Venice Film Festival while promoting her new film, ‘Lean on Pete’.

Photocall: Orchestrating a charming summery impression, I love the retro inspired styling for her on-trend gingham Miu Miu romper. I’m not usually a fan of kitten heels, yet they work seamlessly with the nonchalant vibe of the look alongside a small, but perfectly formed, Miu Miu bucket bag featuring a medley of paisley, elephant and sphinx prints from the Spring 2012 collection.

Premiere: Her second Miu Miu frock appeared to take its cues from flamenco dresses. With its V-neck and delicate ruffles, it was ready for heeled sandals and a glamorous clutch. Sadly, not all the accessories worked on this occasion. The Miu Miu shoes are typically quirky so I can live with them, it’s the velvet black bag that throws me off. Had it been in green to complement the sequin apples, perhaps I would’ve been on board.

Julianne Moore In Prada & Valentino – Venice Film Festival & The Franca Sozzani Award

Julianne Moore arrived in Venice alongside George Clooney, who directs her latest film, ‘Suburbicon’, before receiving the inaugural Franca Sozzani Award, founded as a tribute to the late Vogue Italia editor-in-chief.

Venice Film Festival Arrival: The actress adopted a whimsical mood while wearing a Prada orgzana sleeveless Resort 2018 dress with a fluffy trim feathers for textured drama. I love how the quirky shades also add a fun twist. Julianne always seems at home during European festivals.

The Franca Sozzani Award: It may have been a wet and windy night, but Julianne created her own storm on the red carpet wearing a volcanic lava-red Valentino Fall 2017 gown styled with a heart-shaped clutch and Chopard jewels. I love the contrasting pretty floral pink underlay which engages a romantic mood. She certainly brought her A-game to Venice.

Jane Fonda In Alberta Ferretti & Marchesa – ‘Our Souls At Night’ Venice Film Festival Photocall & Premiere

Jane Fonda is often at Cannes representing L’Oreal, but today (September 1) she was at Venice Film Festival to promote her film, ‘Our Souls At Night’.

Photocall: I love how Jane’s Alberta Ferretti Pre-Fall 2017 jumpsuit blends unbridled glamour with military-inspired traits. Styled with Pomellatto jewels, Christian Louboutin shoes and a Salvatore Ferragamo clutch, this woman can seriously do no wrong.

Premiere: I know some of you can’t understand my love for Marchesa, but this dusty blue tulle gown featuring all over 3D floral embroidery plus feathers, is a classic example of why the love is strong. This is a simply stunning creation made for a movie star. I don’t think she’s ever looked more radiant. The look was styled with a Rene Caovilla clutch and Pomellatto jewels. The icing on this cake is picture of Jane and her Armani-clad co-star Robert Redford, as they are shining examples of how to grow old gracefully.

Renata Kuerten In Alberta Ferretti & Mugler – ‘The Shape Of Water’ Venice Film Festival Premiere & Vanity Fair Party

Aside from Rebecca Hall, the other person who has impressed me the most during Venice Film Festival is Renata Kuerten.

‘The Shape Of Water’ Venice Film Festival Premiere: The Brazilian model glided down the red carpet wearing an angelic Alberta Ferretti gown which I’m sure will captured the hearts and imaginations of you modern romantics. I deliberately chose this picture as the billow-as-she-walked added some dramatic action to the look.

Vanity Fair ‘So Wonderful’ Party: In totally contrast her Mugler Spring 2017 look had fashion forward futuristic feel, which was artistically cut to showcase her powerful feminine figure. My only nitpick were the shoes. They feel dated and in total contrast with her look.

Izabel Goulart & Isabeli Fontana bring Alberta Ferretti’s Days-of-the-Week sweaters to Venice Film Festival

The rise of statement-making knitwear drew out Alberta Ferretti’s witty side for her Pre-Fall 2017 ‘Rainbow Week’ collection.

Izabel Goulart nailed her look by wearing her sweater on Thursday for ‘The Shape Of Water’ Venice Film Festival premiere yesterday, Isabeli Fontana proved you don’t have to wait for the right weekday to whip out this luxurious wool and cashmere-blend sweater.

Both styled their looks with bedazzling Swarovski mini skirts, Chopard jewels and black footwear.

While I prefer Izabel’s Giuseppe Zanotti sandals, Isabeli’s emerald earrings make up for the uninspiring pumps. Call me crazy, but I actually prefer this over her previous red carpet look.

Celebrating the day of the week has never as such high fashion vigour.

Gigi Hadid or Diane Kruger have both been spotted celebrating Thursday.

Matilde Gioli In Balmain – ‘The Shape Of Water’ Venice Film Festival Premiere

Matilde Gioli attended the ‘The Shape Of Water’ 74th Venice Film Festival premiere on Thursday (August 31).

This opinion might not be shared, but think she totally nailed this Balmain Pre-Fall 2017 look.

Not for the faint-hearted, this dress has a lot going on but Matilde managed contained all the elements by keeping her styling simple.

What makes this a success over Alessandra Ambrosio’s at the VMAs?

A lot more presence, opting for simple footwear and hairstyle which didn’t scream juvenile.
