Susan Sarandon In BOSS – The Leisure Seeker (Ella & John) Venice Film Festival Premiere

Susan Sarandon attended ‘The Leisure Seeker (Ella & John)’ premiere during the 74th Venice Film Festival on Sunday (September 3), with her favourite accessory in place; her shades.

The actress wore an eye-popping BOSS by Jason Wu gown which exuded sensuality and enhanced her curvaceous figure.

I think the look benefited from the Chopard earrings and rings, but the out-of-place cuff wasn’t needed.

To go with her custom gown, elegant BOSS accessories completed her red carpet look.

I’m praying I’ll look this good at 70-years-old.

Bruna Marquezine In Alberta Ferretti – Venice Film Festival

It’s a tale of two red carpet stories when it comes Bruna Marquezine’s appearance during Venice Film Festival this weekend.

‘Suburbicon’ Premiere: Joining Amal Clooney, the Brazilian actress graced the red carpet wearing a pretty pink Alberta Ferretti gown with an elegant flowing cape and train which most will love until perhaps they see how sheer the dress is.

The Leisure Seeker (Ella & John) Premiere: Opting for her second Alberta Ferretti gown in so many days, Bruna went from sweet to not-so-innocent. I have to confess that I love the look, mostly because of the glamour the feathers brings to the look; without them, I would’ve probably been rolling my eyes with the majority of you. Chopard jewels completed her look.

Rebecca Hall In Prada – ‘Suburbicon’ Venice Film Festival Premiere

There are twelve days of Venice Film Festival, and so far, Rebecca Hall has nailed four of them.

At the ‘Suburbicon’ premiere on Saturday (September 2), the British actress opted to wear Prada again, this time demonstrating their effortless approach to red carpet dressing.

Prada’s recent outings have been heavily embellished, but on this occasion just a simple bejewelled belt buckle provided some bling, along with her De Beers jewels.

Most of you have loved the dress, but have been disappointed with her hair.

On this occasion she opted for sleek straight tresses to complement her timeless, elegant gown.

Luciana Damon In Marchesa – ‘Suburbicon’ Venice Film Festival Premiere

It was definitely ladies night at the ‘Suburbicon’ premiere during the 74th Annual Venice Film Festival this evening (September 2), where Matt Damon and George Clooney attended with their beautiful wives.

I love the emerald hue of her Marchesa Pre-Fall 2017 draped gown, but that is where the love ends.

There needed to be a bit more grooming or a better fit to smooth out the waist.

And the hair is a tad “mother of the bride” for me.

Julianne Moore In Louis Vuitton & Valentino Couture – ‘Suburbicon’ Venice Film Festival Photocall & Premiere

Julianne Moore joined George Clooney and Matt Damon for the ‘Suburbicon’ photocall and premiere, which took place during the 74th Annual Venice Film Festival today (September 2).

Photocall: Judging from her previous look, whimsy was the red carpet M.O. for Julianne during the photocalls for this festival. Her Louis Vutton Resort 2018 dress featuring a Kabuki-inspired embroidery added a fun, characterful element to her look. I would’ve loved a lighter sandal here.

Premiere: I have desperately been trying to find something to love about this Valentino Fall 2017 Couture look, but I failed. Yes, even with shimmering eyelash fringing and emerald Chopard jewels that complemented her layered crop, the look fell a little flat. I’m disappointed because I expected a bit more for this event. Looking at this, the best analogy I can give you to describe this look is – driving with the handbrake on.

Amal Clooney In Atelier Versace – ‘Suburbicon’ Venice Film Festival Premiere

The ‘Suburbicon’ premiere took place during the 74th Annual Venice Film Festival this evening (September 2).

With all due respect to the other attendees, this is what I have been waiting for.

Amal Clooney swept the red carpet with her husband George looking every inch a Hollywood movie star herself in Atelier Versace.

Her custom-made lilac gown featuring a subtle ombré chiffon skirt took my breath-away.

It has everything: glamour, romanticism, femininity. It’s a magical fairy tale moment come true.

Lorraine Schwartz purple sapphire, coral, jade and diamond drop earrings, Aquazzura shoes and a retro style faux bob completed her BDOTY worthy look.
