Scarlett Johansson In Versace – ‘Under The Skin’ Venice Film Festival Premiere

Scarlett Johansson In Atelier Versace - 'Under The Skin' Venice Film Festival Premiere

I wrote Scarlett Johansson off just a second too early because she was back to her best while attending the ‘Under The Skin’ Venice Film Festival premiere held at Sala Grande in Venice, Italy this evening.

Her va-va-voom is back in all its spine-tingling, goose-bump inducing form as the blonde beauty poured her womanly curves into a black Versace off-the-shoulder gown.

The gown which features a fitted bodice, gathered detail at the hip and light embellishments on the arms was styled with a breath-taking Bulgari High Jewellery necklace which almost does the impossible by upstaging her dress – I said almost.

This gown has been a long time coming and will definitely take pride of place in my BDOTY contenders list.

Is this gown that good for you? Or are you just happy for the return of the ScarJo’s va-va-voom?

Daniel Radcliffe In Todd Snyder, Topman & David Hart – ‘Kill Your Darlings’ Venice Film Festival Photocall & Premiere

Daniel Radcliffe In Todd Snyder, Topman & David Hart - 'Killing Your Darlings' Venice Film Festival Photocall & Premiere

Daniel Radcliffe is just one of the many stars attending Venice Film Festival this week promoting his latest movie, ‘Kill Your Darlings’.

Photocall: The British actor arrived at the Excelsior Hotel with director John Krokidas for the photocall sporting a high-low mix, wearing a semi-casual look which included a charcoal Todd Snyder blazer with a shirt and jeans by Topman and Nike sneakers.

Premiere: I was quite blown away by how smart he looked at the premiere wearing a two-button suit by his favourite tailor David Hart featuring a sharp blue blazer, black pants, a striped shirt and a black tie with George Cleverley monk-strap shoes. I love the mix of colours and how well fitted and impeccably tailored this suit is.

Scarlett Johansson In Sonia Rykiel & Roland Mouret – ‘Under the Skin’ Venice Film Festival Photocall

Scarlett Johansson In Sonia Rykiel & Roland Mouret - 'Under the Skin' Venice Film Festival Photocall

Scarlett Johansson has arrived at Venice Film Festival, attending the ‘Under the Skin’ photocall earlier this afternoon.

The beautiful actress kept her look simple and chic while posing at the Palazzo del Casino sporting a black-and-lemon-striped knit tank top from Sonia Rykiel’s Resort 2014 collection with high-waisted Roland Mouret pants and black satin Roger Vivier open-toe heels.

Her photocall-appropriate look was the perfect way to make a return to the red carpet, keeping up the momentum from her last appearance at Comic-Con.

I know ScarJo has put her va-va-voom days behind her, but I’m still holding out for a jaw-dropping look for tonight’s premiere.

Are you holding out the same hope?

Cristiana Capotondi attended ‘The Zero Theorem’ Venice Film Festival premiere held at the Palazzo del Cinema in Venice, Italy yesterday evening.

The Italian actress wore a Valentino Resort 2014 strapless multi-macramé bouquet strapless gown – there couldn’t have been a more perfect way to inject some vitality onto this red carpet.

Her scene-stealing gown was simply styled with a selection of silver bracelets and neutral makeup to complement the earthy vibe of her gown.

Catalina Sandino Moreno In Emilio Pucci – ‘Medeas’ Venice Film Festival Photocall

Catalina Sandino Moreno In Emilio Pucci - 'Medeas' Venice Film Festival Photocall

Catalina Sandino Moreno attended the ‘Medeas’ photocall during the 2013 Venice Film Festival held at the Palazzo del Casino in Venice, Italy yesterday afternoon.

The Colombian actress looked beautiful wearing a green Emilio Pucci Resort 2014 long-sleeved silk-cady dress with a plunging neckline, a gold accent at the waist, and a slit in the skirt showcasing her Just Fab gold-and-nude ankle-strap sandals.

I love the colour against her olive skin tone and chestnut-hued wavy tresses. This look may be considered too sexy for a photocall, but something is desperately needed to shake this festival alive because I am already over this festival and looking forward to Toronto Film Festival which starts at the end of this week.

Venice Film Festival Weekend Round Up

Venice Film Festival Weekend Round Up

Here is a quick roundup of some of the other looks which graced the red carpet during the 2013 Venice Film Festival this weekend.

Vanessa Hessler: The actress attended the ‘Premio Kineo’ red carpet event wearing a Zuhair Murad nude and black-netted gown which should be familiar to you. That’s because Lily Collins wore the shorter version of this dress last week during her promo tour. The dramatic piece was simply styled with complementary black accessories.

Anna Safroncik: The Ukrainian actress shimmered in an ocean-blue Alberta Ferretti Spring 2013 chiffon-and-lamé gown, with an illusion panel which doesn’t create much of an illusion around the neckline ruining the overall effect.

Maria Roveran: The actress could’ve worn just the LBD from Moga e Mago’s Fall 2013 collection but she saw the designers’ vision through by wearing the gold-studded leather sleeves, which she completed with a futuristic Kzeniya gold clutch.

Sophie Kennedy Clark: The Scottish actress gave this striped Stella McCartney jumpsuit its third red carpet outing following Jennifer Lawrence and Rila Fukushima. As this is her second Stella McCartney look of this festival, it appears she has a good relationship with the brand to have had a wide range of looks to select from, so with that in mind I’m a bit disappointed to see this look for a third time. On the plus side, she wore it better than Jennifer Lawrence with her styling. But Rila is still my overall favourite in this look, putting the ‘F’ into fierce.
