Marie Claire’s Fresh Faces Party

Marie Claire's Fresh Faces Party

There were plenty more lovely starlets who attended Marie Claire’s Fresh Faces Party, held at Soho House on Tuesday (April 8) in West Hollywood, California.

Naya Rivera: Inspiring us to get back into the gym, the ‘Glee’ actress donned a Philosophy ivory top slashed to reveal a bralet and midriff, which she wore with black cropped trousers. I can’t say I’m a fan of this look. I feel like she’s trying to make a statement, but the look is coming off as trying too hard.

Mena Suvari: One of my favourites from this event, Mena wore a flirty Sachin + Babi crop top with a floral lattice embroidered maxi skirt, which she styled with not only a coral Edie Parker clutch but also floral Dolce & Gabbana sandals and a trendy ear cuff courtesy of Graziela Gems.

Zoey Deutch: Opting for a bright-red-hued Alexander Wang Lattice back apron dress, the simple silhouette of her look wasn’t diluted by her clear perspex Charlotte Olympia clutch or her Alexander Wang ‘Alla’ open open-toe wedges which gave the look a tougher edge.

Paz Vega In Elie Saab Couture – Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscar Party

Paz Vega In Elie Saab Couture - Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscar Party

Spanish beauty, Paz Vega, attended the Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscars Party on Sunday (March 2).

The ‘I’m So Excited’ actress wore an Elie Saab Couture gown, covered in silver embellishments with a low cleavage and an open back.

The dress carried a golden belt and was paired with a Ferragamo clutch, Louboutin heels and Sam Lehr jewelry.

While I would have like to see her hair in a sweptback bun all together, I do appreciate the more relaxed, European version of the ‘do.

How do you feel about this look? Too much or Baroque glamour at its best?

Paz Vega In Georges Hobeika – 100th Anniversary Celebration Of ‘The Tramp’ Screening & Dinner

Paz Vega In Georges Hobeika - 100th Anniversary Celebration Of 'The Tramp'

Paz Vega made a dazzling appearance yesterday evening (February 26) on the red carpet of the 100th Anniversary Celebration of ‘the Tramp’ screening & dinner in West Hollywood, California.

Paz has showed us nothing but hit after red carpet hit and here she continues wowing in this Georges Hobeika sequin-embellished column dress.

The grey and silver stripe-effect dress really complemented her flawless complexion and although quite sparkly, it really doesn’t look over-powering.

Paz kept the styling minimal and sophisticated with a sleek Smythson clutch and Christian Louboutin pointed pumps.

While I’m not a fan of the middle-parting, I do love the Spanish beauty’s wavy ‘do and sultry, smoky eye to round-off this super-pretty look. But what do you think?

Who Wore Gucci Better…Cate Blanchett or Paz Vega?

Who Wore Gucci Better Cate Blanchett or Paz Vega

Back in September, Cate Blanchett attended a portrait session as part of Milan Fashion Week Womenswear Spring/Summer 2014, wearing a rich bordeaux Gucci Fall 2013 long-sleeve dress style with gold Christian Louboutin ‘Sylvette’ sandals.

Spanish beauty Paz Vega wore the same dress to Gucci’s private screening of James Franco’s documentary film ‘The Director’ last month during Couture Fashion Week.

Opting for a wavy do, she accessorized with nude Gucci pumps and a satin Gucci bag.

I almost went with Paz on this one, but, sadly, I can’t get on board with that satin bag.

Gucci Host The Screening of James Franco’s Documentary Film ‘The Director’

Gucci Host The Screening of James Franco's Documentary Film 'The Director'

Gucci hosted a private screening of James Franco’s documentary film ‘The Director’ held at the Royal Monceau Hotel in Paris, France on Wednesday (January 22).

Florence Welch: The singer wore a Gucci Spring 2014 black silk-chiffon kaftan (no surprises there) featuring metallic-purple inserts and bronze-and-blue sequin embroidery, worn over a black silk blouse and sheer black palazzo pants. Gucci accessories including a black plexiglass clutch and black suede platform sandals complemented her look, with a rouge lip colour and a braided updo providing the finishing touches.

Miroslava Duma: The pint-sized fashionista wore a Gucci Resort 2014 liquid-gold lamé jacket with a matching tunic and loose-fitting trousers, with a pair of brown leather Gucci platform sandals which aren’t that visible due to the extraordinary length of her pants.

Joan Smalls: The stunning model, who has fronted many campaigns for the brand, wore a Gucci Spring 2014 black spaghetti-strap plunging wrap dress with the signature bralet style, adding a black Gucci clutch and a pair of Gucci python lamé-and-suede sandals.

Elie Saab Spring 2014 Couture Front Row

Elie Saab Spring 2014 Couture Front Row

There was as much beauty in the front row as there was on the runway on Wednesday afternoon for the Elie Saab Spring 2014 Couture show held in Paris during Couture week.

Paz Vega: The Spanish actress, who has been spending a lot of time stateside, wore a very ladylike Elie Saab frock with lace inserts and a chic peplum waist. Styled with a complementary Elie Saab clutch, she gave her look a fall-like touch by adding burgundy pumps to her look.

Olga Kurylenko: Fellow red carpet regular Olga was also in the front row, opting for a flirtier look, donning a green lace-accented frock styled with matching Elie Saab sandals and the same gold Elie Saab clutch that I also own. A simple ponytail and a watermelon-pink lip colour completed her look.

Which pieces from Elie Saab’s Spring 2014 Couture collection would you like to see on these lovely ladies?

Look 1 for Paz and Look 24 for Olga.
