Front Row @ Burberry Fall 2018

None were eager to miss the Burberry Fall 2018 show on Saturday (February 17) as part of London Fashion Week, judging by a front row that was overflowing with fans of the iconic British label.

Sienna Miller:
If you thought you knew Burberry plaid, you might be challenged to think again given the actress’s fearless combo of the checquered patterns that maintained her free-spirited, boho style.

Keira Knightley: I will have to admit to not recognizing Keira at first. This play on proportions, between the boxy jacket and the frilly skirt, left a lot to be desired when it came to its figure-flattering qualities.

Zendaya Coleman:
Even when covered up in an oversized check coat, somehow Z still commands this look—and leaves me wanting to see the brashly bold, graphic ensemble beneath it all the more.

Front Row @ Calvin Klein Fall 2018

There was to be no shortage of stars on the front row at the Calvin Klein Fall 2018 show, held on Tuesday (February 13), where the looks were just as diverse as the ladies themselves.

Nicole Kidman: I will always struggle with how satiny fabrics photograph, but seeing this Calvin Klein Spring 2018 look translated off the runway on Nicole, and I think she did it justice—even in spite of its cowgirl shirt-meets-retro diner uniform mood.

Lupita Nyong’o: Not only was the periwinkle hue of the blouse a radiant offering, the drama of the pouf sleeves added a layer of girly romance–to which the black skirt merely acted as the canvas to celebrate it.

Margot Robbie: I love how the ‘I, Tonya’ actress took this Calvin Klein Fall 2017 jacket and stripped away the rest of the elements to make a dress. It had an insouciant chicness about it; a vibe that was only furthered by her mismatched sandals, giant hoop earrings, and slicked-back bun.

Stella McCartney’s Autumn 2018 Collection Launch

Stella McCartney’s Autumn 2018 collection launch on Tuesday (January 16) in Los Angeles, California was brimming with bold fashion.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley: The model looked like a yummy mummy in her one-shouldered knit and vegan leather trousers. The autumnal shades and materials are luxurious, and the gold accessories only heightened the feel. That’s why it’s a shame about the semi-sheer top.

Kate Bosworth: I’m sure there will be many people who will want to rip this macramé strap off. It makes me feel a bit better that it’s part of a bag, but coupled with the short-sleeved blazer, there’s a touristy vibe I find difficult to shake off. I’m further let down by the rumpled trousers. Not her best.

Katy Perry: The singer went for extreme volume in an asymmetrical red dress. I’m afraid her colourful makeup and accessories only enhance the cartoonish feel of the look — and not in the best way. Now we know why Annabelle Wallis belted the gown at The 2017 Fashion Awards.

Paris Jackson In Morrison – Emirates Melbourne Cup Day

Paris Jackson attended the Emirates Melbourne Cup Day on Tuesday (November 7) in Melbourne, Australia.

The model has been favoring a bohemian edge during her last few red carpet appearances and this continued with this Morrison dress. The muted red colour combined with the sheer frill details had an easy elegance.

The brown ankle boots, multiple pieces of jewellery and Ann Shoebridge headpiece played up the effortless vibe. Some might crave fewer accessories, but I think the jewellery presented a cohesive finish. I also loved the modernity of the headpiece compared to the typical fascinator.

Paris Jackson In Zac Posen -mothers2mothers Event

Paris Jackson joined Heidi Klum at the mothers2mothers event on Tuesday (October 24) in Beverly Hills, California.

The model has developed a reputation as being a bit of a wildcard on the red carpet as she can go from a punk-inspired ensemble one day to a bohemian look the next. Paris opted for the latter this time around with a Zac Posen Resort 2018 dress.

The young starlet looked radiant in the maxi style. The balloon sleeves and off-the-shoulder neckline drew the attention up to her face. She played up the boho flair with multiple bracelets and necklaces.

Some have been less than keen on her previous outfits, but this is a direction I like seeing Paris experiment with. It appears very effortless and in keeping with who she is.

Paris Jackson In Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood – People’s ‘Ones To Watch’

While there is still uncertainty as to Paris Jackson’s path in this celebrity world – even by her own admission – she was one of the main stars to attend the People’s ‘Ones To Watch’ event on Wednesday (October 4) in LA.

When I saw her in this Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood Spring 2017 corset dress, with no makeup, Sarah Flint ‘Grear’ sandals and beaded jewellery, it’s clear she going for a bohemian all-natural red carpet look.

However, the corset feels like its contradicting her ideology.

Had she opted for a fuss-free toga style dress instead of a corseted dress, this look would’ve made more sense to me.

Paris Jackson In L’Agence & Rebecca Vallance – Global Citizen Live!

We never know what we’re going to get with Paris Jackson and that is what makes her red carpet appearances exciting—even if the ensembles sometimes fail to translate successfully. She flirts between statement sheer styles one day and relaxed bohemian the next.

She threw us for a loop once again at Global Citizen Live! on Monday (September 18), donning a L’Agence tank top and a Rebecca Vallance blazer and skirt.

The khaki green colour palette nodded to military inspiration while the long and lean shapes showed an updated take on classic suiting.

Black Jimmy Choo shoes brought out the lace detailing on the skirt.

I’m intrigued by this direction as it has made me more curious to see what Paris will wear next. What do you think?
