Valentino New York Sala Bianca 945 Event

Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli hosted their first Valentino Haute Couture show in New York City on Wednesday (December 10).

The one-off special show, which was an homage to the designer’s famous 1968 white collection, was in celebration of Valentino’s Fifth Avenue flagship store, attracting many celebrity guests who are all big fans of the brand.

Emma Roberts: The young actress instantly caught my eye in her uber-sweet Valentino sugary pink frock with flared cuffs and a multicoloured floral collar. While I love the contrasting mauve Valentino clutch, the Valentino taupe pumps don’t work for me.

Padma Lakshmi: The TV host never fails to provide a jaw-dropping moment, this time wearing a super-sweet Valentino orange-hued mini dress amped up with a pair of sexy black over-the-knee boots.

Karolina Kurkova: I was charmed by the statuesque beauty, who was serving up lace and colourful florals. Her bold, intricate look was enhanced with red pumps, which matched her glossy lips, and a hot-pink clutch. She can do no wrong.

2014 Whitney Gala

2014 Whitney Gala

The 2014 Whitney Gala presented by Louis Vuitton was at The Breuer Building on Wednesday (November 19) in New York City.

Riley Keough: The actress selected a look from Louis Vuitton’s Spring 2015 collection. Just when I was starting to get fatigued by the collection, Riley selected one of the yet-to-be-worn pieces featuring mesh sleeves and a fur-trimmed placket. Knee-high boots replaced the booties, with the must-have Louis Vuitton Petite-Malle clutch rounding out this look.

Hilary Rhoda: The model looked simply stunning wearing a Pamella Roland Pre-Fall 2014 strapless gold embellishment gown which would look good at any time, but especially during the festive season. As if the gown didn’t glisten enough, she styled her look with a pair of dangerous-looking spiked earrings.

Padma Lakshmi: Looking as glamorous as ever, the TV Chef host never puts a foot wrong. Wearing a simple cream gown accented with appliqués, she added just a cuff and silver earrings to enhance this look. Makeup-wise she opted for a nude lip with smoky eyes for an altogether different look.

Best Dressed Of The Week – Jessica Chastain in Saint Laurent, Padma Lakshmi in Cushnie et Ochs & Eddie Redmayne in Tom Ford

Best Dressed Of The Week - Jessica Chastain in Saint Laurent, Padma Lakshmi in Cushnie et Ochs & Eddie Redmayne in Tom Ford

Jessica Chastain in her fairytale Saint Laurent gown was your best dressed this week.

I was somewhat surprised by the large margin of the lead considering the comments were that this gown was too prom-like and some objected to the embellished strap.

I, on the other hand, was picked up and swept away by Padma Lakshmi in her jaw-dropping Cushnie et Ochs gown.

The colour, her poise, the fit: it was a win, win, win all round and a contender for BDOTY for me.

As many of you said, your vote for Eddie Redmayne wasn’t just for this Tom Ford suit, but for all his looks, as each one was just as good as the last. He continues to steamroller the competition by such a large margin.

Padma Lakshmi In Cushnie et Ochs – 11th Annual Keep A Child Alive Black Ball

Padma Lakshmi In Cushnie et Ochs - 9th Annual Keep A Child Alive Black Ball

Padma Lakshmi attended the 9th annual Keep A Child Alive Black Ball held at Hammerstein Ballroom on Thursday (October 30) in New York City.

I was totally bowled over by the ‘Top Chef’ TV host wearing this breathtaking Cushnie et Ochs Fall 2014 cut-out petrol-blue silk-crepe gown featuring split molded cups, a keyhole at the waist and a front split at the skirt.

Exuding the confidence and sex appeal of a modern icon, my jaw may never return to its original position.

If you were hoping to vote for Padma in her Naeem Khan gown for BDOTW, this gown will supersede it.

Note to Lea Michele and Naya Rivera: This is how you do sexy without trying so damn hard.

Padma Lakshmi In Naeem Khan – Elton John AIDS Foundation’s 13th Annual An Enduring Vision Benefit

Padma Lakshmi In Naeem Khan - Elton John AIDS Foundation's 13th Annual An Enduring Vision Benefit

Padma Lakshmi attended the Elton John AIDS Foundation’s 13th annual An Enduring Vision benefit held at Cipriani Wall Street on Tuesday (October 28) in New York City.

There are many great matches in the celeb fashion world: Sarah Jessica Parker and Oscar de la Renta; Jessica Chastain and Givenchy; Charlize Theron and Dior; Anna Paquin and Alexander McQueen; but none delights me more than Padma Lakshmi and Naeem Khan – a true match made in fashion heaven.

On this occasion the ‘Top Chef’ host wore a multi-coloured geometric-beaded column gown from the designer’s Spring 2015 collection.

The colours are stunning against her skin, the simple styling impeccably executed and the retro waves a very delicious topping on this caramel sundae.

Naeem Khan Spring 2015 Front Row

Naeem Khan Spring 2014 Front Row
There was no shortage of glittering style statements at the Naeem Khan Spring 2015 fashion show held on Tuesday (Sept. 9) during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City, where the frow-list included a bevy of beauties all outfitted in Naeem Khan, natch.

Jamie Chung: Stunning in this metallic beaded shift dress, the starlet assured that all eyes were on the decorative design that graced her figure by skipping the jewels and wearing nude sandals. The additional flourish came courtesy of her asymmetrical, side-swept curl.

Jenna Dewan-Tatum: The actress likewise wore a sparkling dress, hers a satiny forest-green frock with an intricately embellished bib. A casually pulled-back updo and light-grey sandals completed the ensemble.
