Marchesa Spring 2015 Front Row

Marchesa Spring 2015 Front Row

Celebrities gathered to celebrate red carpet queens Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, who returned home to London to showcase their Marchesa Spring 2015 collection on the 10th anniversary of the brand.

Jena Malone: The ‘Hunger Games’ actress was perched in the front row wearing a distinctive Marchesa frock in a rich teal hue, deconstructed to create a gorgeous kilt dress rendered with 3D mohair thistle embroidery. I love her complementary eye makeup, which further emboldened the look along with her gold sparkling Louboutins.

Rita Ora: The singer ditched the red lip in favour of a deep-berry hue for her part-glamorous, part-I’m-not-sure-what’s-up-with-that-hairstyle look. She wore a Marchesa Spring 2011 blush-pink draped chiffon one-shoulder jumpsuit with black tassels on the train. The hair is too harsh for the look, but you have to – on some level – admire her for keeping things varied and interesting. She was asked by a reporter to name her favourite Marchesa red carpet look; having worn Marchesa four times previously to the Elle Style Awards, the BBC Radio One Teen Awards, the 2013 Glamour Woman of the Year Awards, and the 2012 EMAs, she said that the red embroidery and taffeta gown from the EMAs was her favourite look. When asked by the journalist where she had worn the look, Rita appeared to go blank and say “Ummm…”, at which point I interjected by saying “the MTV Awards”, to which she looked up at me with some confusion, then turned to the journalist and replied “Yeah, the EMAs”.

Olivia Palermo In Witchery – The Chadstone Runway Fashion Show

Olivia Palermo In Witchery - The Chadstone Runway Fashion Show

Olivia Palermo was spotted at the Chadstone Runway Fashion Show in Melbourne, Australia on Thursday (August 28).

Looking very much like herself, the style-forward socialite magicked a black Witchery trench into a sophisticated dress, while adding a dash of the Midas touch with her Witchery multi-cord golden necklace and matching bracelet.

Never missing a beat when it comes to accessories, she ensure her metallic peep-toe sandals and small clutch continued the gold theme.

Seeing the lookbook and then Olivia, with her wispy updo, I love what’s she’s done with the trench, making it her own with her signature, relaxed-sleek edge.

Olivia Palermo In Burberry Prorsum - Chadstone 'Icons of Style' Launch

Olivia Palermo is in Melbourne, Australia fulfilling her ambassadorial role for Chadstone’s Icons Of Style campaign, where she is set to share her style secrets during her trip Down Under.

While headed to the launch event she was spotted look oh-so-very chic wearing a Burberry Prorsum Fall 2014 ensemble which featured a long-sleeved hand-printed floral- and leaf-print ankle-length dress styled the same way as we saw it on the runway, with a graphic-print scarf belted around the waist.

The rest of her styling was her own, with a yellow statement clutch and Aquazzura shoes.

While the shoes are not from her Aquazzura x Olivia Palermo collaboration, you can buy the pieces exclusively from Net-A-Porter.com.

You may remember that Maggie Gyllenhaal wore this same dress sans scarf earlier this year.

Olivia Palermo In Ann Taylor & Vintage – Out In New York City

Olivia Palermo In Vintage - Out In New York City

Olivia Palermo was spotted out in SoHo in New York City on Monday afternoon looking as gorgeous as ever.

Undeterred by the current high temperatures, the socialite donned a vintage brown leather calf-length skirt, giving the look a ladylike spin by pairing it with a crisp white tie-at-the-waist Ann Taylor shirt with a studded collar to create her south-western chic look. Possibly inspired by Blake Lively’s recent Vogue editorial.

As we would expect, her accessories bring the whole look together, with a grey clutch, Aquazzura strappy snakeskin sandals and Westward Leaning shades providing the finishing touches.

Aquazzura x Olivia Palermo

Aquazzara x Olivia Palermo

Olivia Palermo has been the unofficial brand ambassador for the Florence-based footwear brand Aquazzura for quite some time, wearing a selection of their shoes – most often the ‘Sexy Thing’ sandals.

So it came as no surprise that Olivia and the brand have collaborated on a capsule collection of six shoe styles called Aquazzura x Olivia Palermo which will be sold in stores including Lane Crawford, Saks Fifth Avenue, Tsum and Holt Renfrew – and exclusively online at Net-A-Porter.com – in September, just in time for her to show them off while taking to the front row during Fashion Month.

The collection will include six styles from sexy sandals to over-the-knee boots, with the prices ranging from $600 to $1,625.

Valentino Fall 2014 Couture Front Row

Valentino Fall 2014 Couture Front Row Paris

Valentino presented their beautiful Fall 2014 Couture collection at the Hotel Salmon de Rothschild in Paris, France yesterday evening (July 9) during Couture Fashion Week.

Olivia Palermo: The socialite, who has been front and centre at most of the Couture shows, arrived wearing a Valentino Fall 2014 tri-colour white, black and red dress with a standard collar and colour-block skirt, which is the kind of dainty look we would expect from Olivia. We would also expect her to style the look with some interesting accessories, and she didn’t disappoint, carrying a green Valentino Gryphon fringed clutch and donning her favourite Sergio Rossi sandals. You may remember that Emma Stone wore this same dress during her ‘Spider-Man’ 2 promo tour.

Kim Kardashian: It was not a surprise to see Kim in attendance, considering Valentino Garavani opened up his Parisian estate for her and Kanye back in May, allowing them to host their pre-wedding brunch there. Wearing a plunging pale-blue Valentino gown (which I believe is from the Pre-Fall 2014 collection), she kept the styling simple, accessorizing with diamond jewels.

Emma Watson: Clocking up as many front row seats as Nina Dobrev, the British actress wore a Valentino Resort 2015 two-piece macramé lace bralet and high-waist maxi skirt, opting not to wear the white shirt we saw in the look book. I love how she gave this look an edge by donning a BLK DNM black leather jacket. The rest of the styling included red suede pumps, a dark-green M2Malletier Fabricca leather clutch and a single Delfina Delettrez ‘Fishing for Compliments’ pearl earring with two pearls. My girl crush deepens.

Elie Saab Fall 2014 Front Row

Elie Saab Fall 2014 Front Row

Celebs took to the front row for the Elie Saab Fall 2014 Couture show presented during Couture Fashion Week in Paris this afternoon (July 9).

Nina Dobrev: Having worn an Elie Saab gown to the Bulgari event last night, the actress was front and centre, no doubt selecting potential looks for upcoming red carpet appearances. Opting for a sexy, laidback vibe, she wore a sheer black Elie Saab top with a mauve Elie Saab maxi skirt featuring a side slit, which she toughened up with a black Elie Saab leather jacket slung over her shoulders. The look was styled with an Elie Saab bordeaux ‘Poincarè’ clutch bag and black sandals.

Olivia Palermo: Continuing to champion pattern play, the socialite opted for a black and white look featuring a spotted Tibi top, Banana Republic floral-print trousers and a Christian Dior leopard-print bag. The look was pulled together with a chic black blazer and some sexy diamante-encrusted sandals.
