Olivia Culpo Hosts Nine West Throwback 40th Anniversary Celebration In Moschino

Prior to attending amfAR Gala New York, Olivia Culpo hosted the Nine West Throwback 40th Anniversary Celebration on Tuesday (February 6) in New York City and was dressed in a retro style fit for the occasion.

The model donned a black and white check Moschino dress and white Nine West shoes which had a clear 1960s reference.

She played up the mod mood with her winged eye makeup and sleek hairdo.

The former Miss Universe always commits fully to a theme and this was no exception. It’s on the borderline of retro and costume-y, but the glamour and execution bring it back to a fun throwback look that was appropriate for the event.

Olivia Culpo In Redemption Couture – 2018 amfAR Gala New York

Olivia Culpo joined Taraji P. Henson, Heidi Klum, Sienna Miller and Poppy Delevingne on the red carpet for the 2018 amfAR Gala New York on Wednesday (February 7).

You can always rely on Olivia to present a highly glamorous look, and that was most definitely the case with this Redemption Fall 2017 Couture gown.

Some might be getting a strong retro, 80s vibe from this look, and I would agree; but that shouldn’t be confused with being dated.

I felt that this was a sensual and sophisticated choice for the evening.

Dior & Sasha Pivovarova Celebrate The Launch Of The Spring-Summer 2018 Collection

Dior and Sasha Pivovarova celebrated the launch of the label’s Spring-Summer 2018 collection at Milk Garage in New York City on Tuesday (February 6). Naturally, a host of Dior dazzlers were all in attendance, each donning a look from the Spring 2018 collection.

Sasha Pivovarova: As the host, the Russian model was suitably shining brightly in a Dior silver mirror tulle-embroidered short jumpsuit overlaid by a matching mirrored evening skirt. Together with her platinum locks, I love the edgy-modern ice-princess connotations of the look that was completed by Dior ‘Naughtily D’ boots and a Dior ‘Addict’ bag. Even the ubiquitous ‘CD’ straps seemed fresh with their tonal coloration.

Margaret Qualley: Rocking a different breed of whimsy, Margaret donned a Dior yellow allover sequin dress with ‘Positive’ embroidery. Diorboots and a Dior ‘Addict’ bag finished out the youthful, feisty outing that reflected the socially conscious statements that designer Maria Grazia Chiuri has celebrated.

Olivia Culpo: With a boho, prairie girl aesthetic—with a side of mod makeup—Olivia donned a sheer Dior black silk long dress with lace inserts styled with a Dior hat, Dior necklaces, Dior earrings, Dior shoes and a sparkling ‘Le Coeur de Dior’ heart bag. I’m sure some may be fussed about the logo briefs underneath.

Olivia Culpo In Elisabetta Franchi, Nina Ricci & Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini – Pegasus World Cup & Out In New York City

Olivia Culpo continues to serve up one stylish look after another. First, she attended the Pegasus World Cup on Saturday (January 27) in Hallandale, Florida. Later, she stepped out in New York City on Tuesday (January 30).

Pegasus World Cup: The tuxedo influence is evident in this Elisabetta Franchi Fall 2017 dress. It has taken a whimsical route with the split sleeves and draped neck closure. The bow-adorned hoop earrings proved to be too much as they interfered with the neckline. I spent a few minutes trying to decipher what was going on when I should have been appreciating the look’s minimalist grace.

Out In New York: The model never fails to have a major street style moment. The romance of her gossamer Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini blouse contrasted the grommet and chain detail on her Miaou trousers. The Nina Ricci coat draped over her shoulders provided necessary warmth while contributing to the luxurious mix of fabrics. Francesco Russo shoes and a Chloe bag completed the elegant effect.

Marie Claire’s 3rd Annual Image Makers Awards Red Carpet Roundup

A host of stars joined Tracee Ellis Ross, Emma Stone, Kiersey Clemons and Yara Shahidi for Marie Claire’s 3rd Annual Image Makers Awards on Thursday (January 11) in West Hollywood, California.

Issa Rae: A part of me was longing for a more defined shape to this tangerine Prada gown, but between the colour, the all-over crystal embroidery and that infectious smile, I was totally charmed by this look.

Michelle Monaghan: When I saw Michelle in this beige Alex Perry dress with matching Christian Louboutin ‘ Toufrou’ pumps, I was looking for a break in its one-noteness somewhere; but her Irene Neuwirth 18k gold, carved strawberry pink opal, turquoise and diamond pavé earrings weren’t enough.

2017 amfAR generationCURE Holiday Party

As the festive season ramps up, the 2017 amfAR generationCURE Holiday Party was held on Friday (December 1) in New York City with a trio of style setters in attendance.

Kat Graham: Rather than wear her pinstripes via the suiting trend, Kat opted for a deconstructed edge in this Valentin Yudashkin Fall 2017 dress. As per, I have mixed feelings about the semi-visible illusion panels, but I like this directional play on the traditional menswear fabric.

Sailor Brinkley Cook: This golden-nude Zac Posen Resort 2018 gown brought a whiff of an art-deco-inspired glamour. But, I was left with the feeling that something was unfinished—and also that the bodice was a bit on the snug side. Perhaps a statement earring and a bold lip would have rallied to the cause.

Olivia Culpo: Olivia can always be counted on to have a bit of fun with fashion, and this Ermanno Scervino Fall 2017 bustier party frock and its explosion of organza fit the bill. Both Amal Clooney and Kate Beckinsale have worn the dress before, so I was having several moments of déjà vu, but it still retained its charms on its third time out.

Olivia Culpo goes festive for Thanksgiving

Olivia Culpo co-hosted the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade for the second year in a row on Thursday (November 23) in New York City.

The model opted for a festive red and white look wearing a Ports 1961 coat, over a red Max Mara cardigan.

Toughening up the look with Unravel Project leather biker skinny trousers, she accessorized with Jimmy Choo ‘Brandon’ boots, a Chanel ‘Caviar Timeless’ classic belt bag and red Sermoneta gloves.

The street style version of the look included a Ruslan Baginskiy baker boy hat.

I love the whole idea, the attention to detail and the execution.

Yes, it might be considered a bit OTT by some, but it’s the holidays, so it’s nice she’s spreading come Christmas cheer.

I love look with the hat.
