Olga Kurylenko graces the cover of the November 2008 edition of Elle Russia

Her story is that ten years ago, the girl from the Ukrainian city of Berdyansk, went to Paris to work model. Now the actress is a Bond Girl in Quantum of Solace.

Here are some extracts from her interview:

On the fact that she has not changed since becoming a Bond Girl: “How can I change? Should I behave like something other than what I am, suddenly change the tone? That’s ridiculous! I have never sought fame, so this is my fate. So I just continue to live as I have always lived”.

On wanting to originally become a Doctor: “Mama seriously feared something is wrong with me, because I loved reading medical books. I was not afraid to look at the blood, and internal organs. In fact, it was my favorite reading at night! I thought it was so exciting that you can cure a disease or somehow help. If I had not become an actress, I certainly would be a Doctor.”

On the modern Bond Girl: “Bond Girls have become more empowered and independent.”

On her personal style: “I like to wear jeans, T-shirts. I only wear heels to parties.

On her favourite food: “I love Japanese food.”

On her her favourite city: “I lived in Paris for ten years, where I did well, but this city I did not have enough energy. People can drink coffee for five hours, which is crazy to me. The energy of London, is wonderful. The US has a willingness of people to work hard, and achieve something. But when I am in America, I really missed Europe, with its soul, its architecture. In this sense, London is universal, with it’s energy and soul.”

No one is going to catch Olga Kurylenko, so I am ending this poll early.

There was no doubt, no demands for a recount, Olga took the lead the moment I posted the poll and she never looked back.

The Bond Girl was a knock out in this mermaid Dolce & Gabbana strapless gown, which she wore to the Quantum of Solace Rome premiere.

As some of you suggested Beyonce is commended for being the most improved this week.

“Quantum Of Solace” Amsterdam Premiere

There are so many premiere’s of this movie, that I almost missed this one.

Olga Kurylenko took to the red carpet looking amazing wearing a black bowed YSL Resort 2009 fuchsia silk gown, which she complimented with matching fuchsia earrings, with an ivory teardrop.

“Quantum of Solace” Valencia Premiere

Last night at the Valencia premiere, she wore a black halter neck gown, which pales in to comparison to the fuchsia number, but is still effortless elegant, as we have come to expect from the Bond Girl.

Rumble In The Jumble, London

Gwyneth Paltrow wore a grey tailored tight fitting Giles Spring 2009 dress, with inside-out insets.

Despite her wearing a grey dress – and grey not being my favourite colour – this is a gorgeous dress on the actress.

68th Annual Motion Picture Club’s Awards Luncheon, New York

Speaking of gorgeous, Amy Adams lights up this red carpet event wearing a red Lela Rose Ruffle neck dress, which she wears with black pumps.

J’Adore.

Lucky Magazine Hosts 5th Annual Lucky Shops, New York

I am not sure what is happening to the Gossip Girls on the red carpet, but I sure know that I do not like it.

Leighton Meester asymmetric black and red floral mini Marc Jacobs dress, is just not flattering at all IMO. The gladiator heels rock though.

Jessica Szohr keeps warm in a knit top and black pants by from French Connection.

“Quantum Of Solace” Premiere, Rome

May I just say WOW.

Olga Kurylenko is working the ass off this Dolce & Gabbana dress.

I love the sexy silhouette it gives her, the mermaid hem, the corseted bodice, the tussled hair, the soft make-up.

LOVE, Love, love

Satsuki Mitchell stood out in a different way. The partner of Daniel Craig opted for a mini sparkly number.

It is a nice change to see Satsuki with her hair down and straight. Usually it is up or wavy.

“A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To Cure Parkinson’s” 2008 Benefit For The Michael J. Fox Foundation, New York

Scarlett Johansson, or should I say Mrs Reynolds, made a welcome return to the red carpet after what feels like a very absence.

The newly married star opted for a LWD by Dolce & Gabbana, which has a bandage bodice, which delightfully showed off her assets. She completed her look with 3-tone peeps toes and a stunningly beautiful Van Cleef & Arpels necklace.

I love her elegant updo, which completes the very sophisticated look.

Julianne Moore continues her love affair with YSL wearing this YSL black dress, with a belt from their Fall 2008 collection.

Virgin Unite’s “Through The Looking Glass” Fundraiser, London

Kelly Rowland my love our great country, but she does not like our cold weather. The singer wore a black coat with a sequined scarf over her olive dress.

I am still struggling with Natalie Imbruglia’s blonde hair, but I am sure it may grow on me one day.

The singer/actress arrived on the red carpet wearing a blue sequined Preen Fall 2008 dress, which she matched with a blue ring.

Despite the dramatic nature of this stunning dress, I feel like it is just blah on Natalie, as it’s not really her style, and I think she struggles to pull it off.

How Daisy Lowe ever became a model is beyond me.

She wore her printed dress under her winter warmer.

“Quantum of Solace” Premiere, Germany

Olga Kurylenko goes strapless for the first time at a premiere, wearing a black gown with embellished details mid way down the dress.

It is a great dress, but I can not say I am wowed by it.

2008 Library Lions Benefit, New York

Ivanka Trump shows off her delicious curves wearing a blue layered Alberta Ferretti Fall 2008 one-shoulder gown.

She completes her look with some pink flowers dressing her hair.

“Late Show with David Letterman”, New York

Paris Hilton goes red (Louboutin sole), white and blue with her starred Tracy Reese dress, no doubt to show off her patriotic side in the lead up the presidential race.

Is this tacky or a cute idea? Either way all I keep wondering is where did those boobs come from?

Music Industry Trust Awards 2008, London

Girls Aloud arrived as a 4 piece, and not a 5 piece last night.

Cheryl Cole stood out the most wearing a grey and black PPQ Spring 2009 dress, with a red vintage Chanel belt. She completed her look with Kurt Geiger Espula heels.

I would have loved this so much more without the red belt.

Kimberley opted for a LDB by Vivienne Westwood which had a wicked bodice and draped skirt. Sarah opted for a strapless lavender mini, and Nicola opted for an orange bubble hemmed number, which she wore with a Chanel belt.

Although Cheryl is my current girl crush, I adore the black dress that Kimberley is wearing.

Keisha Buchanan, Amelle Berrabah and Heidi Range of the Sugababes all opted for black ensembles with is just too much for my liking. Although Amelle stood out with her embellished dress.

Vogue Fantastic Fashion Fantasy Party, London

I wish Claudia Schiffer would do something different with her hair once in a while, but I guess she lives by the rule, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

The Supermodel opted for a black taffeta Louis Vuitton Fall 2008 dress, with olive bowed heels.

Kimberley Stewart needs to work on her posing in the mirror at home, because she looks like she is snarling.

On the plus side, her gown is simply gorgeous.
