Noomi Rapace In Givenchy Couture – 2011 BAFTA Awards

Joint Best Dressed Award
You know I’ve been raving about Noomi Rapace for a while now and this is why.

Girlfriend brought drama to the red carpet at the 2011 BAFTA Awards in London tonight.

Whilst some of you might think that her Givenchy Couture gown is more Grammy Awards than BATFA Awards, I think she totally rocked this dress.

It’s one thing to wear a dress, the other is to own it and Noomi does so in magnificent style. More so than the model.

Her corseted dress is totally embroidered with gold metallic sequins and crystals. She teamed her dress with gold Givenchy heels and a spiked belt.

I love that she shook things up at this event.

She was my Best Dressed.

Noomi Rapace In Alexander McQueen – “Svinalangorna” Stockholm Premiere

Noomi Rapace becomes the first person to wear a look from Alexander McQueen’s Fall 2010 collection.

Anna Paquin will not be happy.

Noomi wore this exquisitely constructed McQueen jacquard dress to the “Svinalangorna” Stockholm Premiere in Sweden this weekend.

Unfortunately the pictures aren’t great, but Noomi is such a stylish up-and-coming star that it would be a shame not to feature her.

Her red and gold skull print dress was paired with Alexander McQueen floral-engraved leather boots from the same Fall 2010 collection and a red and gold Alexander McQueen clutch.

Loving the marcel waves.

Do you think the dress works without the runway belt?

Noomi Rapace In Alexander McQueen – 14th Annual Hollywood Awards Gala

Swedish actress Noomi Rapace took home the ‘Hollywood Spotlight Award’ at the 14th Annual Hollywood Awards Gala last night.

You may remember Noomi dazzled us on the red carpet wearing Balmain and Elie Saab during the 2010 Venice Film Festival, well last night she dazzled again in Alexander McQueen.

Her white strapless dress with the sculptural detail on the skirt is from the Alexander McQueen Spring 2011 collection.

Noomi’s dress wasn’t presented on the runway, but it you can see that her dress uses the white frayed material of Look 3 and the style of Look 5 without the high-neckline.

“The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo” may still be relatively unknown to many, but she’s clearly making huge strides in Hollywood to be the first to wear Alexander McQueen’s new collection.

Gold McQueen ankle strap peep-toes heels and glossy side swept hair completes this stunning look.

2010 Venice Film Festival – Noomi Rapace In Elie Saab

Noomi Rapace has only had three red carpet appearances during the 2010 Venice Film Festival and it’s official.

I like her.

She warmed me up wearing Balmain, now she wearing Elie Saab.

The Elie Saab Fall 2010 collection was full of dark mysterious pieces, so I hope to see more gowns from this collection as we move towards the Fall season.

At the Lancia Cafe Noomi wore a very elegant Elie Saab Fall 2010 gown.

Her gown with a high split and lace top was worn sans bra on the runway, but Roomi wisely opted for a strapless bra which looks like it could be part of the dress.

I’m guessing the Swedish actress only packed one pair of shoes, because she’s wearing the same black pumps she wore to the “La Passione” Premiere

Not a way to stay in my good books Ms Rapace.

A black clutch and red lippie completed the look.

For last nights “Raavanan” Premiere, Roomi wore yet another Elie Saab Fall 2010 dress.

She looks radiant wearing a deep green fully embroidered gown with a keyhole and cut out detailing at the front and back.

I’m finding myself very impressed with Noomi’s style choices.

2010 Venice Film Festival “La Passione” Premiere – Noomi Rapace In Balmain

I’m sure many of you have been longing to see this Balmain Fall 2010 dress on the red carpet.

It was worn by Noomi Rapace for the “La Passione” Premiere during the 2010 Venice Film Festival on Saturday night.

“The Girl Who Played with Fire” Swedish actress donned the bold shoulder long sleeved mini dress with lackluster heels.

I’m guessing she didn’t want the look to be too edgy, therefore she compromised on the heels.

I’m liking the dress both with and without the belt.

With gives more definition.

Without doesn’t break up the gold floral beaded pattern.
