Chanel has thrown another soiree, this time for the ‘Chanel: The Little Black Jacket’ private viewing held at the Saatchi Gallery in London yesterday evening.

Chloe Moretz: The teen actress did don a little black Chanel jacket from the Resort 2013 collection which she styled with leather leggings and an ivory top with bell-shaped sleeves. The most interesting part of her look was her green ombre Chanel Fall 2012 crystal-encrusted ankle boots with a cut-out detail.

Poppy Delevingne: The socialite opted for some playful cat ears with her Chanel Fall 2012 sheer dress with multi-coloured leather appliqués. In a further attempt to add an edge to her look, she wore black Dsquared² ankle boots and carried a green velvet Chanel shoulder bag.

Alice Dellal: The most unlikely Chanel muse opted for a black-and-white Chanel Spring 2009 Couture look with a pop of red thanks to her bold lip colour and her Olympia Le Tan clutch.

Noomi Rapace celebrated her latest film ‘Prometheus’ at the world premiere, which was held in London on Thursday evening.

The brunette actress looked elegant wearing a chic Valentino Fall 2012 gown.

While simple in design, with a basic column skirt and draped v-neck, a shimmering element to the plain black fabric adds an extra bit of glamour.

Unfortunately, Noomi seems to rely on this hint of glimmer to carry the entire ensemble.

Imagine the gown with a bold gemstone earring, or even a bright-red lip colour – what a difference it could have made.

A clean updo, nude lips and simple Harry Winston jewels leave us desiring something more from the styling.

Noomi Rapace failed to impress on the red carpet for the London premiere of ‘Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows’ last week.

Luckily she had time to redeem herself at the Stockholm premiere in her hometown Sweden.

She wore an Emilio Pucci Spring 2012 gown that was very daring and sexy, two things we expect from a Pucci look.

The red long-sleeve embroidered gown with bugle beads and mirror details was teamed with black pumps.

Fear not folks, she’s not going commando; the dress actually has a nude lining to spare any blushes.

Noomi’s 180 turnaround from tragic to magic was completed with flawless makeup and a chic updo.

Do you think this look is much improved?

I almost cried when I saw Noomi Rapace on the red carpet for the ‘Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows’ London premiere last night.

The Swedish actress wore one of my favourite designers, Carolina Herrera, but via her styling she totally ruined the look.

Granted, this strapless Resort 2012 black-and-ivory gown with a polka-dot bustier and bold stripes would’ve been hard for anyone to pull off, but the hair and makeup are equally tragic.

Her hair looks very greasy and the makeup looks like it was applied by Coco the Clown.

Nothing is good here.

Noomi Rapace joined Rachel McAdams on the red carpet for the ‘Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows’ LA premiere last night wearing a similar metallic embroidered dress.

The Swedish actress donned a gold shimmering Valentino halter dress which had pockets either side.

Like Rachel, Noomi didn’t overwhelm her look with too many accessories as she simply added some crystal drop earrings with multi-coloured stones.

Sporting a new hairstyle, she pulled her hair back to showcase her freshly cut bangs.

Noomi Rapace made a return to the red carpet for the Rome Film Festival premiere for ‘Babycall’.

The Swedish actress wore a Giambattista Valli Pre-Fall 2011 dress.

Her red one-shoulder silk jersey dress has a grosgrain insert at the waist and a bow shoulder detail.

Noomi made this look her own by draping the dress over her shoulder.

With her hair in a tight bun she accessorized with a black and gold Lara Bohinc clutch and a gold cuff.

Despite Noomi wearing one of my favourite designers, I can’t get passed the pumps.

Earlier this year, Noomi made a huge splash on the red carpet, so I’m disappointed by her safe, inappropriate shoe choice on this occasion, even if they are by Christian Louboutin.

These heels are not red carpet worthy and should never been placed anywhere near this dress.

They are so heavy that they weigh down the look.
