Do you think Nina Garcia has been taking “Red Carpet Posing 101″ lessons from Blake Lively. Because this head tilt pose is Blake’s trademark.

At the recent “13th Annual Rising Star Awards” held in New York the Marie Claire Fashion Director walked the red carpet wearing an Oscar de la Renta Resort 2010 dress.

The navy tulle tweed shantung dress was paired with a different belt to the one presented on the runway.

It’s a great look for Nina, but I just can’t accept those Louboutin ankle boots with this dress.

Oscar’s dresses should never be paired with ankle boots imo.

It is official, the RM by Roland Mouret Pigalle dress, is on way to becoming almost as popular as Roland Mouret’s Galaxy dress, which was worn by stars like Cameron Diaz, Dita von Teese and Victoria Beckham.

This form-fitting wool dress with a square pleat front and cap sleeves was first worn by Heidi Klum back in June.

This September 5 more celebrities have been seen in the dress.

UK actress Jennifer Ellison wore the white dress when she attended Ripley’s Believe It Or Not exhibition in London.

Jennifer Lopez wore the dress with YSL Trib Two Platform Pumps to Marc Jacobs Spring 2009 show in New York.

Nina Garcia wore the taupe version, when attending shows at Bryant Park during New York Fashion Week.

Beyonce Knowles wore the same taupe dress, when she attended the New Yorkers For Children Fall Gala with her husband.

Finally Dita von Teese is the first to wear the black ‘Pigalle’ dress, when she attended the Fashion Fringe 2008 Grand Final last night in London.

I love the taupe version, and I think Nina Garcia wore it best.

At the moment I am still very much in love with this dress. My worry is that as the popularity grows, people like Heidi Montag and Kim Kardashian will note this, and then jump on the bandwagon, and that is when the love will fade.

The female judges of Project Runway both chose dresses from RM by Roland Mouret Pre-Fall 2008 collection, for the finale at Bryant Park, during New York Fashion Week last week.

Heidi Klum wore a Forest green Anvers fitted wool dress.

Heidi’s pocketed dress has a small collar, that sits above the keyhole, a high waist, and long sleeves. She wore her dress with tan suede platform shoes.

As you would expect from Roland Mouret, this dress is beautifully cut and tailored perfectly.

Nina Garcia opted for this beautiful Kléber dress, which has also been worn by Victoria Beckham.

Her primrose yellow sleeveless dress, has asymmetric pleating, patch pockets, an exposed zip and a slit on back.

Nina also wore her dress with tan suede platform shoes.

Nina also wore this Pigalle wool dress, when she was seen in Bryant Park during New York Fashion Week.

This square neckline dress, has pleated detail below the neckline, cap sleeves, and a peplum that sits around the high waist.

You can buy Heidi’s Anvers dress from Net-A-Porter’s US site for $2,555, and from the international site for £1,225/€1,610.

Nina’s
Kléber dress is available from the US Net-A-Porter site for $2,240, in a stunning grey mohair version, and the international site for £1,075/€1,405.

Nina’s Pigalle dress is available to to purchase from the US site for
$2,065, and the international site for £990/€1,295.

These dresses are timeless and true investment pieces.

I am lusting after the grey Kléber and the taupe Pigalle. ♥

“The Women” Screening, New York

Eva Mendes wore a Jenni Kayne Spring 2009 sheath dress covered in gold paillettes, which she complimented with gold sandals.

Just oozing sex appeal.

Jada Pinkett-Smith seems to have a love for asymmetric tops.

She wears her white vintage Christian Dior ruffled top with a black pencil skirt.

Debi Mazar continues to impress me with her style and elegance on the red carpet.

Her strapless dress with structured detail on the bodice is perfect, and her hair and make-up is flawless.

Meg Ryan went head to toe black with her L’Wren Scott dress and knee-high boots.

The dress gives her an amazing silhouette.

Marie Claire’s Welcome Party For Nina Garcia, New York

Heidi Klum wore a steel grey beaded mini-dress, with grey suede Christian Louboutin Ariella Talon Booties.

She has her hair pulled back in a tight bun, to show off her high cheek bones.

Nina Garcia wore a strapless Giambattista Valli dress that showed off her legs.

I would have loved this look more, had she worn nude shoes.

Party girl Tinsley Mortimer arrived wearing a beige empire-waist Moschino Spring 2008 mini dress, with an exaggerated double tiered flounce hem and cap sleeves.

She wore her dress with a animal print clutch and black sandals. Again, wrong shoe choice imo.

Molly Sims normally only wears cute tea dresses. On this occasion she wore a very edgy dress from the Viktor & Rolf Fall 2008 collection.

You may remember Eva Mendes wore a similar stapled dress last month.

Sony Pictures Classics Dinner, Toronto

Anne Hathaway looks sleek and unfussy in her banded Chanel Resort 2009 tunic dress. The dress has a stunning jewel detail on the neckline.

OK! Magazine Party, New York

Becki Newton is very bird-like wearing this strapless feathered Marchesa Fall 2008 mini dress.

Silver strappy sandals would have been my preferred choice.

The only thing that is working here for Dania Ramirez is her tit-tape.

Jennifer Hudson’s Album At Morgans Penthouse, New York

Victoria Beckham wore a cute black Balenciaga dress, which had structured shoulders, with Louboutins.

Pixie Posh, as she is now called by the British tabloids, still needs to work on her foundation. For me it is the wrong shade.

Jennifer Hudson found a dress that matched her bright red lipstick.

Marc Jacobs Spring 2009 After Party

Becki Newton wore a blush pink Marc Jacobs Resort 2009 dress with a black trim. This is a interesting take on the classic halter-neck dress.

She carried a studded Marc Jacobs Wristlet Eugenie clutch to complete her look.

“The One Hundred” Book Launch, New York

I loved Nina Garcia’s Little Black Book Of Style, so I am excited that she has written a new book The One Hundred, which is a guide to the pieces every stylish woman must own.

What I would love to own is this RM by Roland Mouret ‘Madeline’ dress, the peachy colour is simply divine on Nina, and I would not mind her Azzedine Alaia platform heels as well.

Children’s Defense Fund, Denver

Looking so fabulous in a red ensemble with matching heels, Jennifer Lopez is very much a sophisticated woman who has truly grown out of her JLo phase.

Her style is more mature, yet not too stuffy, as she still maintains her sex appeal without looking tacky like Christina Aguilera did recently.

Not to sure about the blonde hair pieces, as I prefer her as a natural brunette.

Opening ceremony and ‘Burn After Reading’ Premiere, Italy

This custom Alberta Ferretti gold silk gown is much simpler than Tilda Swinton’s previous Dior look on the red carpet yesterday, but I love the way it drapes.

She accessorizes with a simple bracelet.

Alberta Ferretti seems to relish the opportunity to dress stars like Tilda and Claudia Schiffer when they are in Europe for these Film Festivals. Alberta also dress many of the stars at this years Cannes Film Festival.

Claudia’s grey asymmetrical Alberta Ferretti gown is stunning, befitting of its wearer.

She completes her look with a matching Louis Vuitton Monogram Minaudière clutch and an exclusive couture watch created by Alberta Ferretti and Chopard.

30 Days Of Fashion and Beauty Launch, Sydney

Eva Mendes’ YSL tribute pumps really stand out despite the unusual nature of her full-skirted John Rocha Spring 2008 dress. The black patent belt nips in her waist to give more volume to her skirt.

MTV’s TRL, New York

Tina does not do footwear, so I am not too sure who is to blame for Solange Knowles wearing those ridiculous furry booties.

Sadly she is trying way too hard.
