Get The Look: Nina Dobrev’s Let’s Be Cops’ LA Premiere Glow

Premiere Of Twentieth Century Fox's "Let's Be Cops" - ArrivalsCelebrity makeup artist Beau Nelson worked with Nina Dobrev for the Los Angeles premiere of ‘Let’s Be Cops’ last week.

“Nina and I wanted to do something simple and fresh to complement her Zuhair Murad beaded dress”, said Beau.

Here’s how to get the look.

Because Nina was so tanned from her recent vacation to Bali, Beau used M.A.C. Face and Body Foundation in C5 to even her skin tone on her face and match it with her body.

He then used Cinema Secrets Concealer where needed for extra coverage and By Terry Touche Veloutee Pen under her eyes to cancel out any darkness.

Setting with Laura Mercier Brightening Powder under the eyes and La Mer Powder all over the face, he brought back a glow by spraying M.A.C. Fix+ on the sides of the face, avoiding the centre completely.

On her eyes he used a simple wash of the taupe shade from the Chanel Tissé Rivoli Shadow Quad, and L’Oreal Voluminous Miss Manga Mascara in Black.

On her cheeks, Beau used Hourglass Cosmetics Crème Bronzer and Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate to contour her cheekbones and jawline, enhancing what she naturally has.

Lips were kept simple with just a coat of NARS Larger Than Life Lipgloss in ‘Paris Follies’.

Nina Dobrev In Vionnet – 2014 Teen Choice Awards

Nina Dobrev In Vionnet - 2014 Teen Choice Awards

Nina Dobrev attended the 2014 Teen Choice Awards at The Shrine Auditorium on Sunday (August 10) in Los Angeles, California.

Never one to disappoint on the colour front, she wore a Vionnet Resort 2015 crop top and shorts look rendered in a watercolour blue, gold and pink print.

Styled with a pair of Kurt Geiger ‘Bond’ pumps in a vibrant shade of pink, the rest of her accessories included a MICHAEL Michael Kors ‘Elsie’ gold clutch.

Highlighting her Bambi-brown eyes, she completed her look with a nude lip colour and purposely messy side-swept braid.

Nina Dobrev attended the ‘Let’s Be Cops’ LA premiere held at the ArcLight Hollywood on Thursday (August 7) in Hollywood, California.

The actress continued her rich vein of form wearing a Zuhair Murad Resort 2015 A-line mini dress enriched with tribal beaded details adding vivid colour to this red carpet look.

With her glossy brunette locks swept back off her shoulders, she opted for Ferragamo accessories including a black and gold clutch and suede ankle-tie pumps, with a selection of Tiffany jewels rounding out her look.

I absolutely love this, but I still feel her Naeem Khan look on ‘Jimmy Fallon’ was her best this week.

Nina Dobrev In Naeem Khan – The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Nina Dobrev In Naeem Khan - Late Night Starring Jimmy Fallon

Nina Dobrev continued to promote her new movie, ‘Let’s Be Cops’, in New York City with a guest appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ on Tuesday (August 5).

Working a body-con silhouette for an ultra-feminine feel, the actress wore a Naeem Khan black wool crepe short-sleeved cocktail dress with gold filigree embroidery from the designer’s Fall 2014 collection.

Her look was complemented by the most stunning pair of Carla Amorim yellow-gold and diamond earrings and gold and black glitter Brian Atwood ‘Alis’ studded suede pumps. This is easily my favourite look from the past two weeks.

Naeem Khan clearly works wonders for Nina, so it is no surprise that this is the third time ‘The Vampire Diaries’ star has worn Naeem Khan designs in the last two weeks. It’s a match made in fashion heaven.

Nina Dobrev In Andrew Gn, J. Mendel & Elie Saab – ‘Let’s Be Cops’ New York Promo Tour

Nina Dobrev In Andrew Gn, J Mendel & Elie Saab - 'Let's Be Cops' New York Promo Tour

Following her guest appearance on Sirius XM on Monday morning, Nina Dobrev had three more looks while she promoted her new movie, ‘Let’s Be Cops’, in New York City.

‘Live with Kelly and Michael’: She kept it simple and pretty on the morning show, donning a pale-pink Andrew Gn dress with a contrast black waistband which she completed with black Oscar Tiye ankle-strap pumps.

‘Extra’: Before her next stop at the ‘Extra’ studios in Times Square, she did a quick change into a J. Mendel Pre-Fall 2014 mint and black floral organza sleeveless dress featuring an alluring lace skirt. Most would’ve thought the print on the dress sufficed and opted for black pumps, but Nina added yet more flair with her Bionda Castana black and white harlequin-print ‘Daphne’ pumps.

Photocall: Nina opted for the same Bionda Castana statement heels while attending a photocall with the NYPD, dressed in black Elie Saab and adding an Andrea Fohrman green necklace to her look.

The ‘Extra’ look stands out here for obvious reasons; however, I am equally drawn to the soft Andrew Gn look worn on ‘Live with Kelly and Michael’ as it was a refreshing change of pace from her edgier looks worn throughout the day.

Nina Dobrev In Markus Lupfer – SiriusXM Studios

Nina Dobrev In Markus Lupfer - SiriusXM Studios

Nina Dobrev paid a visit to the SiriusXM Studios this morning (August 4) in New York City.

The actress, who had a great run wearing four looks over the Comic-Con weekend, keep up her good form wearing a Markus Lupfer Resort 2015 ensemble.

Her look featured the designer’s signature sequin-lip-embellished sweater in black – which features gapped teeth inspired by model it-girl Lara Stone – paired with a cute marble-print blue and white skirt with an elasticated waist for a girlish flair.

The boldness of the look had the volume turned up a few more notches with coral strappy sandals.

Sleek wavy tresses replaced the slightly dishevelled hairstyling we saw last week.

David Yurman Infinity gold and black onyx earrings completed the look.
