Nicole Richie In Julien Macdonald – Macy’s Celebrates ‘Fashion Star’

After promoting her new TV show, ‘Fashion Star’, in New York City the past few days, Nicole Richie attended a party with co-host Elle Macpherson to celebrate the show at Macy’s in Herald Square.

She once again opted for British designer Julien Macdonald; donning a look from his Spring 2012 collection.

Nicole is ‘doing a Ricci’ in that the petite designer looks statuesque in her bright lemon gown which is accented with a silver belt.

Her halter gown with asymmetrical layers could’ve overwhelmed her, but she carries off the look with great aplomb.

Nicole does favour the cat-eyes for the red carpet, but on this occasion she opted for a fresher, more neutral look makeup wise.

The most surprising thing about Nicole’s look is that she opted for a gold Jimmy Choo clutch, instead of one from her own House of Harlow 1960 collection.

I think this look deserves a spot in the BDOTW poll alongside Miss Lawrence.

Do you agree?

Nicole Richie In Proenza Schouler – ‘VH1 Morning Buzz’

Nicole Richie was up and about early this morning in New York City to promote her new television show, ‘Fashion Star’, on ‘VH1 Morning Buzz’.

Even at an ungodly hour, Nicole was still looking very fashionable pairing skinny jeans with a Proenza Schouler Spring 2012 sweater.

Her funky zebra-print sweater is not only a refreshing take on the usual leopard print; it is also on trend with its fresh minty pastel colour.

Never one to slack on footwear, the designer added tan House of Harlow 1960 ‘Callan’ pumps to her look.

Chic shades, House of Harlow 1960 rings and a chain-accented House of Harlow 1960 ‘Riley’ shoulder bag provided the finishing touches.

Nicole Richie In Thakoon – Extra

Nicole Richie visited the set of ‘Extra’ to promote her new television show, ‘Fashion Star’, on Friday.

The designer looked very stylish wearing a Thakoon Spring 2012 leather dress.

Her orange leather dress with a notched neck and gathered skirt also has a nipped-in waist, but she gave the look an urban twist by adding an Etro print belt.

Nicole is rarely seen without any of her self-designed pieces, so she added House of Harlow 1960 ‘Leigh’ pumps to her look.

Statement rings and a deep berry lip shade provided the finishing touches.

I love everything about this look excluding her hair.

It looks like it needs a treatment.

Nicole Richie for Flare April 2012

Nicole Richie is for cover girl the April 2012 issue for Canadian fashion magazine Flare.

She dazzles wearing a Roberto Cavalli Spring 2012 ensemble which features a gold jacket, a matching skirt and a white top which she accessorizes with a ring from her House of Harlow 1960 line.

Inside she looks white hot wearing a Cushnie et Ochs jersey leotard and cotton skirt with an Alexis Bittar bangle.

She talks to the magazine exclusive about Hollywood role models, balancing work with family, and how her four-year-old daughter feels about her namesake line.

Here are some extracts from her interview:

On Hollywood role models: “I was just talking to a friend of mine who has two little girls about a certain singer whose name I won’t mention. He was really upset, saying she wasn’t a good role model for his kids. But here’s the thing: that girl is twentysomething, so she shouldn’t be a role model to your little girls. She’s human, and it’s unrealistic to put people on a pedestal and expect that they’re not going to make mistakes.” Read More…

Nicole Richie In Emanuel Ungaro – QVC Presents ‘The Buzz on the Red Carpet’ Cocktail Party

Nicole Richie attended the QVC Presents ‘The Buzz on the Red Carpet’ Cocktail Party on Thursday in Beverly Hills, California.

She selected an Emanuel Ungaro Spring 2012 dress for the occasion.

Her white strapless knee-length dress has a sequined pattern exploding all over the bodice and skirt.

Christian Louboutin nude pumps, House of Harlow 1960 triangle cuffs and a House of Harlow 1960 ‘Marley’ clutch accompanied her dress.

Pink lips, a wavy lob and dark eye makeup completed her look.

The only thing that I don’t like about this look is the location of the sequins on her skirt.

Nicole Richie’s Golden Globes Ponytail. All Kinds Of EPIC

We said it before, and we’ll say it again—when it comes to beauty with Nicole Richie, she keeps getting better and better. (In fact, it’s been a while since we’ve seen her take a makeup & mane misstep.)

Case in point? Her ultra chic fringed bouffant + ponytail combo at the 2012 Golden Globes ceremony.

How gorgeous was the retro styling there? Jenny Cho, Suave Professionals Stylist and the mastermind behind Richie’s stellar strands, shared with us step-by-step details on how she achieved the look:

Step 1: Start by spraying a dry shampoo directly at your roots near the crown and your hairline, from ear to ear. Brush through your strands to add a bit of volume and texture.

Step 2: Pick up the same section of hair and lightly tease it at the roots to create a bit more volume. Use a boar bristle brush to smooth the hair on the sides and ends. Pin it out of your way.

Step 3: Pull the rest of your hair into a high ponytail, and secure with an elastic.

Step 4: Unpin the front and pick up one side section and wrap it around the base of the ponytail, securing with a bobby pin. Take the opposite side and wrap it around the pony in the opposite direction, and secure with a bobby pin. Finally, take the teased crown section and lightly smooth and brush it back over the entire ponytail to hide the bobby pins.

Step 5: Work a dime-size amount of shine serum into the palms of your hands, and delicately smooth over the ponytail strands to eliminate flyaways. Mist with light hold hairspray and you’re all set. —India-Jewel Jackson

Nicole Richie In Julien MAcDonald – 2012 Golden Globe Awards

Nicole Richie showed off a sleek look at the 2012 Golden Globe Awards this evening.

The ‘House of Harlow’ designer wore a silver Julien MAcDonald Spring 2012 gown. The textured dress was a glamorous look for the usually boho-inspired star.

Nicole showed off a sexy open back with a funky, 60’s inspired upswept ponytail, worn with full bangs.

The look was accessorized with Jimmy Choo sandals, thick bangles dotted with gorgeous red stones and a silver clutch.
