Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Nicole Richie joined the NBC Panel at the Winter TCA Tour in Pasadena, CA, on Friday in support of her new reality show, ‘Fashion Star’.

The soon-to-be TV judge wore a studded peach capulet dress from the Chloe Resort 2012 collection.

While the dress was first shown to hit below the knee, Nicole wisely chose to shorten the dress, as the original length would have overwhelmed her petite frame.

Nicole also made the smart decision to pair the peach dress with a pair of coloured heels –complementary teal velvet pumps. This helped prevent the look from appearing completely washed out.

Natural makeup and messy waves finish the look.

Nicole Richie joined Diane Kruger in wearing black on the red carpet at the 2011 UNICEF Ball which took place in LA last night.

The creative director for House of Harlow and Winter Kate has gone from boho, to being obsessed with Halston, to her current phase which is a very chic and sophisticated grown-up look.

Oh how she’s grown from being Paris Hilton’s sidekick.

Nicole’s Osman Fall 2011 gown has a leather cut-out bodice with a sleek black skirt with a train.

Her gown is sexy but her styling is elegant, with a simple updo, kohl-rimmed eyes and ornate earrings.

No Nicole look is complete without a clutch from her House of Harlow collection.

Which look do you prefer? The runway or Nicole’s version?

Striking a pose at the 2011 Environmental Media Awards, fashion designer and author Nicole Richie was spotted wearing a Keepsake ‘Lost Without You’ yellow dress.

Richie paired her ruffle-detailed cut-out dress with complementing bronze statement House of Harlow ‘Tilda’ antique studded clutch, Christian Louboutin ‘Luxura’ ankle-strap pumps and diamond-encrusted cuffs.

Nicky Hilton wore the same dress in spearmint whilst attending a private cocktail and dinner party hosted by DSQUARED2 Designers Dean and Dan Caten and VMAN Magazine at The Webster in Miami, Florida, last week.

Looking bright, summery and beautiful in the illuminating feminine frock, Nicky accessorized with J.J. Winters’ envelope clutch and nude peep-toes.

I love both ladies in this dress, but even though many of you hated Nicole’s makeup I love this frock in yellow, plus I prefer the designer’s accessories.

Nicole Richie unveiled her ‘House of Harlow 1960′ holiday pop-up shop on Saturday night at Fred Segal in West Hollywood, California.

Nicole wore a Halston Spring 2011 two-tone sequined dress, paired with a red House of Harlow clutch.

When this dressed-up boho dress first hit the runway, our immediate thoughts were “Nicole Richie or Kate Hudson”, and Nicole did not let our designer daydreams down.

The cut and style is a perfect match for Nicole.

House of Harlow 1960 statement jewelry completed her look.

Nicole Richie got into the holiday spirit early this year by hosting the Baby2Baby Partners with Huggies Santa Diaper Winter Wonderland event in Beverly Hills on Saturday evening.

The House of Harlow designer wore a Stella McCartney Spring 2012 long-sleeve knit and red satin skirt, paired with Salvatore Ferragamo houndstooth pumps.

Between the peplum skirt, monotone color choice and pop of houndstooth, Nicole did a fab job balancing a number of trends without looking overdone (simple hair and makeup definitely help).

This is the perfect look for just a hint of holiday cheer – it is only mid-November, afterall.

Nicole Richie attended the 2011 MOCA Gala, which was held on Saturday night in LA.

The designer donned her second gown by a British designer in a row, this time opting for a Julien Macdonald Fall 2011 gown.

Her mauve high-neck gown with gorgeous leaf embroidery is yet another bold look which the petite star manages to pull off.

The semi-sheer gown was paired with a House of Harlow ‘Olivia’ python clutch and silver Chopard jewels.

A face-framing updo, dramatic eye makeup and pale pink lips completed the look.

I love the dress from the front; Nicole totally owns it.

The back I’m not so crazy about, because it’s designed to look like she’s exposing her bra strap, which she isn’t.
