Nicole Richie's 'Candidly Nicole' Promo Tour

Working a new blue ‘do, Nicole Richie served up plenty of looks while promoting her upcoming VH1 reality show ‘Candidly Nicole’ on Monday (July 7) in New York City.

‘Good Morning America’ arrival: The House of Harlow designer made a guest appearance on ‘Good Morning America’ working a black and white look, pairing a caped Balenciaga black cape top and white trousers. Her effortlessly chic look was styled with a gold House of Harlow bracelet, black Gianvito Rossi pumps and sunnies courtesy of Celine.

‘Good Morning America’ departure: Following her interview, Nicole changed into an Erdem ‘Allegra’ jersey dress with a bold-hued colourful floral print which complemented her blue hair. The fitted three-quarter-sleeve frock was styled with white Manolo Blahnik pointed-toe pumps and oversized black Celine shades.

MTV Studios: Nicole was later spotted in Times Square headed to the MTV Studio, where she made a guest appearance wearing all white. She donned Aqua Verde jeans and a Givenchy top which features an exquisite embroidered detail along the front. Her favourite Celine shades and white Manolo Blahnik pumps rounded out this look.

‘The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon’: Having gone minimalist, colourful and minimalist again, she maxed out on print and colour wearing an Emilio Pucci Fall 2014 mini dress featuring a blouson bodice, fitted skirt and high neckline. Grey suede Jimmy Choo pumps were the perfect choice for this look, along with House of Harlow earrings and Anita Ko rings. I love the look from head to toe, but it’s the slick side-parted updo and smoky eyes which sell it to me.

Get The Look: Nicole Richie’s Shimmering Met Gala Look

"Charles James: Beyond Fashion" Costume Institute Gala - ArrivalsFashion Designer and TV Personality, Nicole Richie dazzled in more ways than one on the red carpet of the 2014 Met Gala.

The lavender haired beauty opted for an elegant sage-colorred Donna Karan Atelier gown for the evening’s festivities.

Upon looking at her dress and vibrant hair, celebrity makeup artist, Beau Nelson was reminded of an oceanic goddess. The soft accents of her dress and hair inspired Beau to create a look featuring soft shimmers and delicate tones.

“I accented Nicole’s features with subtle highlighting and touches of glitter to complement her teal dress and colorful hair,” says Beau.

Using an array of NYX cosmetics, here is exactly how you can achieve this effortless yet super color look yourself:

Face (complexion): Beau wanted the skin to be multi-dimensional and achieved the look using NYX Cosmetics Mineral Stick Foundation in a variety of tan shades. He concentrated a lighter shade of foundation (Golden Beige) in the center of the cheeks and face and used darker shades (Cool Tan, Warm Tan) on the other perimeter of the face. Using multiple tones on the skin allows for a more contoured and shapely effect to the face.

Cheeks: To further define and enhance Nicole’s face shape, Beau swept NYX Cosmetics Highlight and Contour Powder under her cheekbones. He proceeded by dusting a touch of NYX Cosmetics Baked Blush in Foreplay for a hint of color along the tops of her cheekbones and the Cupid’s bow above her lips.

To achieve that metallic goddess-like glow, Beau applied NYX Cosmetics Born to Glow Liquid in Sunbeam along the same areas.

Eyes: To keep with the softness of the full look, Beau applied the soft russet shades from the NYX Cosmetics The Natural Shadow Palette to her eye lids. To frame the eyes, he applied two cats of NYX Cosmetics Lush Lashes Mascara and a pair of NYX Cosmetics Fabulous Lashes in Nirvana for added volume. For an unexpected tough of added glamour, Beau applied a transparent glitter atop the eye shadow for an ethereal and luxurious finish.

Lips: Keeping with the shimmery oceanic inspirations, Beau topped the look with NYX Cosmetics Matte Lipstick in Spirit—a pink nude tone that perfectly complemented her radiant makeup look.

Nicole Richie In Donna Karan Atelier – 2014 Met Gala

Nicole Richie struck a cool pose on the red carpet at the 2014 Met Gala on Monday (May 5) in New York City.

The edgy star wore a Donna Karan Atelier custom-dyed, Sage backless, velvet gown with tiny asymmetrical straps that criss-cross around the back.

To accent the look, she wore a Zagliani clutch, Christian Louboutin shoes and delicate jewelry from her own line, House of Harlow 1960, and hipster favorite Catbird.

While I love this color, I can’t help but feel like there is just a little bit too much skin showing for this type of occasion (though Nicole pulls it off without being entirely vulgar).

While at first I wasn’t thrilled with the messy coiffing of her purple-hued hair, I actually think the styling is a good match for her overall look.

What do you think? Right on point, or a little too clingy and see-through?

Still working that intense lilac hair colour, Nicole Richie attended the 2014 AOL NewFronts event held at Duggal Greenhouse on Tuesday (April 29) in New York City alongside Zoe Saldana.

Donning an Anthony Vaccarello Spring 2014 dress, this black long-sleeved frock with gold studded detailing is one of the rare pieces from the collection that isn’t overtly sexy.

Styled with edgy Jimmy Choo ‘Kalmar Rope’ sandals, it’s still the hair that’s the focus of attention here.

Nicole Richie In Givenchy & J Brand – Lucky FABB: Fashion and Beauty Blog Conference

Nicole Richie In Givenchy - Lucky FABB Fashion and Beauty Blog Conference

Nicole Richie attended Lucky FABB: Fashion and Beauty Blog Conference held at the SLS Hotel on Friday (April 4) in Beverly Hills, California, to share her experience of being the creative director of House of Harlow 1960.

Keeping her look typically cool she wore a plain grey tee and J Brand L8001 leather super skinny black jeans with her Givenchy Resort 2014 floral print blazer taking centre-stage, even more so than her newly dyed lilac hair.

Riccardo Tisci gave pretty florals a graphic edge with this photo-print blazer. Anchored with a sullen black base, the romantic pinks and vivid greens offering a bold contrast, this blazer creates the right balance of femininity and fierce cool.

Sky-high pumps, a House of Harlow necklace and Jennifer Meyer earrings completed her look.

Antonio Berardi Private Dinner Party

Antonio Berardi Private Dinner Party

Antonio Berardi has long been a favourite of Hollywood starlets and stylists so it was about time he met his loyal fans, and they met the man behind the impeccably tailored, sexy frocks which ensure their well-dressed status when Peroni hosted a private dinner party at Mr Chow’s in Beverly Hills for the man of the hour on Tuesday (January 7).

Kate Beckinsale: Supporting a fellow Brit, Kate sported her favoured ponytail wearing a monochrome racer-neck sheath dress from Antonio Berardi’s Resort 2014 collection which showcases that impeccable tailoring mentioned earlier. Not only does it give her an amazing silhouette, but the panels also give her the illusion of a tiny waist – not that she needs it. Black sandals and. Kotur clutch completed her look.

Nicole Richie: Opting for a look with a looser fit and more of an edge, Nicole, a long-time fan of the designer, wore a black-satin and nude-silk-chiffon zip-front dress with a rise-and-fall hemline from the Spring 2014 collection paired with a gold choker, over-the-knee black boots and a black ponyskin coat.
