Nicole Richie In Topshop – 2013 Met Gala

Nicole Richie really got into the spirit of the punk theme of the 2013 Met Gala, which was held in New York City on Monday evening.

The fashion designer wore a Topshop high-neck long sleeve fully embroidered column gown that isn’t as punk as I was expecting from Nicole. However, her hair and makeup brought out the punk elements.

I’m always impressed with Topshop custom red carpet looks; me thinks H&M need to take a few points from the British retailer.

Nicole styled her look with Vero Cuoio shoes, a vintage silver Maria Francesca Pepe ring and of course a House of Harlow 1960 clutch.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley & Nicole Richie In Balmain – Balmain LA Dinner Party

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Nicole Richie attended a dinner party hosted by Balmain which was held at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, California on Thursday evening.
They were all, of course, wearing Balmain.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley: I kind of feel sorry for Rosie here as the Balmain Spring 2013 collection is not an easy one to pull off – even Zoe Saldana couldn’t get you to love it. The collection was an eyesore: a cropped padded-shouldered leather top with front-pocket detailing and an overworked multi-print flared mini skirt… I mean, really Olivier? This wouldn’t look great on anyone. I only like her fresh face and Balmain open-toe booties here.

Nicole Richie: The designer and ‘Fashion Star’ judge is my favourite here. Her Spring 2013 summery-hued frock with embroidered details was her perfect choice. Actually, I’m surprised the look didn’t overwhelm her as there is a lot going on.

Nicole Richie In Saint Laurent – AOL 2013 Digital Content NewFront

Nicole Richie took to the red carpet for the AOL 2013 Digital Content NewFront in New York City on Tuesday evening.

The ‘Fashion Star’ judge wore a white Saint Laurent dress.

Thankfully not another one of the maxi dresses – lord knows we’ve seen enough of those courtesy of Salma Hayek, Miriam Yeung, Angelina Jolie, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Courtney Love and Lady Gaga.

Nicole selected a white funnel neck chain embellished cady dress which she paired with white Manolo Blahnik d’orsay pumps.

On paper I should dislike the look for the white pumps alone, but I find myself being totally charmed by this look which includes flawless hair and makeup. Nicole totally sells this look to me.

Nicole Richie In Emilio Pucci – Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Nicole Richie made a guest appearance on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ which was taped in LA yesterday afternoon.

The ‘Fashion Star’ mentor, known for her boho-style, wore a sexy Emilio Pucci Fall 2013 jumpsuit.

Her glam 70s-style jumpsuit featured a waist nipping cummerbund and sheer chiffon inserts both at the front and running down the leg; showing off some major cleavage and a tattoo on her left hip.

You can’t help but take a second look at this risqué ensemble which she styled with a blue velvet Louboutins, a braid updo, oversized earrings and House of Harlow 1960 ‘Jude’ fringed clutch.

Nicole Richie In Helmut Lang, J Brand & Stella McCartney – The Today Show

Nicole Richie, who has also returned from Paris Fashion Week front row duty, was spotted out in New York City yesterday en route to the ‘Today’ show to promote the new season of ‘Fashion Star’.

Does her look qualify her as a fashion star? There is a lot going on here so let’s start from the top.

She wore a Helmut Lang Mongolian-fur jacket slung over her shoulders, which were bare as her Stella McCartney ‘Columbia’ fringe blouse was sleeveless.

J Brand’s ‘Super Skinny’ black leather pants gave her cool look a rock n’ roll edge, as did her House of Harlow circular sunglasses.

The rest of her accessories included snakeskin pumps and a tri-colour Fendi tote.

Take away the fringed top and we have a great look. With such a heavy, textural coat, the top feels a bit fussy.
