Darby Stanchfield In Georges Chakra Couture – 2017 Oscars

Darby Stanchfield attended the red carpet of the 2017 Oscars on Sunday night (February 26).

The actress wore a Georges Chakra Spring 2017 Couture gown with a Rubeus Milano ‘Red Carpet’ silver python box clutch.

I’m always crazy about a cape moment, and this gown does nothing to change that. While the basis of the dress is a simple white sheath, the gauzy overlay and eyelet-inspired detailing is extremely unique from a design standpoint, and gives the viewer lots of interest to enjoy.

Her sleek waves and dramatic pearl and turquoise earrings are the perfect styling choices to accompany the look.

Emma Roberts In Armani Privé – 2017 Oscars

Emma Roberts cut a sophisticated profile at the 2017 Oscars on Sunday (February 26) in Hollywood, California.

Old Hollywood glamour was alive and well in her look consisting of an Armani Privé custom gown and Atelier Swarovski Fine Jewelry.

Oozing with quiet allure, I loved every inch of this outing—from the subtle seduction of the lace bodice to the structured cummerbund and the delicate layers of the tiered, embroidered skirt.

Those fiery, Veronica Lake waves and matte red lip only were the icing on the cake, setting the look aflame.

Sofia Boutella In Chanel Couture – 2017 Oscars

Sofia Boutella attended the 2017 Oscars on Sunday (February 26) in Hollywood, California.

She donned a Chanel Spring 2017 Couture dress that showcased both the glitzy sparkle and the feathered glamour that defined a number of pieces from this collection.

Yet the magical whimsy of the pouf-y hem and silver-encrusted embellishment was lost off the runway. I blame the edits that were made to the gown—from the revised neckline to the missing belt and lacklustre feathers.

What did you make of it?

Hailee Steinfeld In Ralph & Russo Couture – 2017 Oscars

Hailee Steinfeld made a dramatic statement on the red carpet of the 2017 Oscars on Sunday night (February 26).

The young star wore a breathtaking gown from the Ralph & Russo Spring 2017 Couture collection.

I love how this gown is sticking with a color theme for the evening, but adding some pops of color, as well.

The halter neckline and delicate ruffles are a lovely and fun addition to the gown’s silhouette, and show off Hailee’s statuesque posture all the more.

Her makeup is on point, as usual, and of course, the sleek updo is only apropos given the gown’s neckline.

Sofia Carson In Monique Lhuillier- 2017 Oscars

Sofia Carson was also in attendance at the 2017 Oscars on Sunday (February 26) in Hollywood, California.

The epitome of a contemporary fairy-tale moment, the starlet wore a princess gown from the Monique Lhuillier Spring 2017 collection.

Youthfully whimsical with delicate, golden embellishment and frothy tulle layers, the confection still possessed a nod to sleek elegance that was further enhanced by her slick bun, accented with a Jennifer Behr hair comb, and candy-apple-red lip.

A modern Snow White, indeed.

Teresa Palmer In Prada – 2017 Oscars

Teresa Palmer was on a silver streak at the 2017 Oscars on Sunday (February 26) in Hollywood, California.

I am always happy to see a Prada look that works on the red carpet, and while I wasn’t standing up and cheering here, this metallic number was still a lovely effort from the actress.

Despite the glimmer of the all-over sequins and the accessories that included an Edie Parker ‘Wolf’ clutch, Sophia Webster heels, and Neil Lane jewels, the outfit still translated as a bit one-note.

But, she brought a sense of pretty romance to the gown with her long waves.

Felicity Jones In Christian Dior Couture – 2017 Oscars

Felicity Jones glowed at the 2017 Oscars on Sunday night (February 26).

The actress wore a sparkling Christian Dior Spring 2017 Couture with delicate jewels and peep-toe sandals.

This pleated, sparkly number is a total dream on Felicity! Wearing a gown that isn’t floor-length is a real surprise for the biggest night in Hollywood, and it’s one that totally pays off. The dress is fresh and elegant and gives her the opportunity to show off some equally fabulous shoes. Those bows!

Her orange lipstick is also a youthful and fresh approach to Oscars style. Bravo!

Cynthia Erivo In Paolo Sebastian – 2017 Oscars

Cynthia Erivo swept onto the red carpet of the 2017 Oscars on Sunday (February 26) in Hollywood, California.

This awards season has seen some highs and lows from her, but she saved the best for last in this Paolo Sebastian Fall 2016 Couture ball gown.

She can add a bounty of florals to the colourful patterns she wears so well, as this embroidered masterpiece is blooming with heady vibrancy of stunning proportion.

A collection of jewels, including Monique Péan earrings, completed her grand entrance.
