Nicole Kidman Calvin Klein Spring 2014 Show & After-Party

Calvin Klein presented their Spring 2014 show during New York Fashion Week yesterday evening, inviting Nicole Kidman, Rooney Mara, Naomie Harris and Alexander Skarsgard. The stars also joined Francisco Costa at the after-party to celebrate his 10 years as women’s Creative Director and the new ‘Downtown’ fragrance.

Nicole Kidman

Show: The Australian actress looked very sophisticated wearing a brand-typical minimalist chic blush sheath dress accented with a gold belt, with stunning earrings, a gold Omega watch and tri-coloured pumps accessorizing the look and preventing it from feeling too one-note.

After-Party: Although the silhouette is the same, her two-piece black look was spiced up with a statement bracelet, red sandals with a pom-pom accent and a wavy bob.

Nicole Kidman In Altuzarra - 'The Railway Man' Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Nicole Kidman arrived at the Roy Thomson Hall for the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of ‘The Railway Man’ in Canada on Friday evening.

While I was expecting jaw-dropping gown from Nicole, I’m not disappointed by this Altuzarra Resort 2014 offering.

The blazer features lace detailing while the cropped trousers draws focus to her pewter bow front Louis Vuitton pumps which add a playful touch to her look.

Her hair was styled into a low bun with her flawless makeup including a vibrant pink lip colour.

The only thing I would remove is the silver brooch.

Refreshing change of pace or did you expect more?

Nicole Kidman In Narciso Rodriguez - Hollywood Foreign Press Association's 2013 Installation Luncheon

Nicole Kidman attended the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s 2013 Installation Luncheon at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Tuesday afternoon in California.

The flame-haired actress complemented her strawberry waves (and her statuesque frame) with a dark teal-green Narciso Rodriguez body-contoured dress with spliced shoulder cutouts.

She accentuated the sleek, sophisticated silhouette quite simply with a Bottega Veneta black crocodile clutch and a pair of small jade earrings, avoiding the temptation to clutter the neckline with more embellishment.

The face of Jimmy Choo’s Autumn Winter 2013 campaign, Nicole switched her soles to a favoured pair of Nicholas Kirkwood metallic- and patent-leather ankle-strap sandals with a snakeskin-covered heel.

Nicole Kidman In Elie Saab Couture - Cinema for Peace UN Woman Honorary Dinner

On Friday evening, Nicole Kidman received a special honorary award for her long-term social engagement for women’s rights together with Lakshmi Puri, UN Assistant Secretary-General and Acting Head of UN Women, at the Cinema for Peace UN Woman honorary dinner, held at Soho House in Berlin, Germany.

The actress looked stunning, wearing an Elie Saab Spring 2013 Couture glittering knee-length cap-sleeved dress, which she paired with white Christian Louboutin ‘June’ slingback pumps, pink drop earrings and a chic low ponytail.

Both women look beautiful, but you can’t help but be drawn to the statuesque Australian actress.

Nicole Kidman for Jimmy Choo Autumn Winter 2013 (3)

Just before Cannes it was revealed that Nicole Kidman would be the face (and feet) of Jimmy Choo’s Autumn Winter 2013 campaign.

The campaign exploring themes of film noir and referencing the tension of Hitchcock’s empowered heroines, photographer Mikael Jansson portrays Kidman (wearing a cropped flame-coloured wig) as the seductive protagonist in a series of images that hint at the brand’s recurring themes of empowered glamour.

Breaking in August issues globally, the campaign is accompanied by a short film.

“Nicole has perfectly captured the mood of our AW13 collection; her character portrays the multi-faceted qualities of the Jimmy Choo woman for this season – strong, sexy with a beguiling sense of mystery.” Sandra Choi, Creative Director.

“I really enjoyed being able to play a role that was strong, sexy and in control. I got into a relationship with the photographer and Mikael is very intuitive, he knows what I am thinking and feeling and is able to translate it through the camera.” Nicole Kidman.
