Natalie Portman In Louis Vuitton - Disney’s D23 Expo – ‘Let the Adventures Begin Live Action at The Walt Disney Studios’ Presentation

Tom Hiddleston and Natalie Portman of ‘Thor: The Dark World’ attended the ‘Let the Adventures Begin: Live Action at The Walt Disney Studios’ presentation at Disney’s D23 Expo held at the Anaheim Convention Center in California on Saturday.

Both dressed in ink-blue, he wore a shiny one-button suit sans tie, while she looked beautiful wearing a Louis Vuitton sleeveless fit-and-flare dress with zipper pocket details, which she styled with black peep-toes and Monique Péan jewels.

Natalie’s look is dialled down like Angelina Jolie’s at the same event, yet here I don’t find myself wanting to doze off.

Natalie Portman In Christian Dior - Benjamin Millepied's LA Dance Project Inaugural Benefit Gala

Natalie Portman attended Benjamin Millepied’s L.A. Dance Project Inaugural Benefit Gala in Los Angeles, California on Thursday.

The actress makes up a trio of Dior ambassadresses’ who have worn a look from the Christian Dior Resort 2014 collection.

Instead of selecting a multi-coloured panelled look like Marion Cotillard and Charlene Princess of Monaco, Natalia selected a red silk Dior rise-and-fall dress with a pink lining.

Her fit-to-perfection dress was matched her nails. The rest of her styling included Dior accessories including a black embroidered clutch, and dual-colour satin ankle strap open toe sandals from the Dior Pre-Fall 2013 collection.

Opting for barely there makeup her brunette tresses were left naturally wavy.

Natalie Portman In Christian Dior - 2013 Vanity Fair PartyNatalie Portman was the picture of grace, as she attended the 2013 Vanity Fair Oscars Party with her husband, Benjamin Millepied, at the Sunset Tower in Hollywood, California.

The face for Miss Dior Cherie perfume, she naturally donned a Christian Dior design last night. And she wore it well.

The gown’s empire waist gave way to a long, flowing skirt that fell to the floor, elongating her petite frame. The black sash that sliced through the left side of this gown was a modern flourish to edge up the sweet silhouette.

Emerald green earrings by Anna Hu cut through this monochromatic moment, and I loved them for that.

WIth a sleek, side-parted updo and a petal-pink lip, the actress and former Academy Award winner looked every bit the effortless star.

Natalie Portman has hit the bottle and gone blonde for an upcoming film role and there was only one woman she trusted with the job: Hollywood’s go-to colourist Tracey Cunningham.

Tracey’s client list reads like an Oscar nominations announcement with names like Charlize Theron, Jennifer Lopez, Emma Stone (she turned her from blonde to red and back again), Kate Beckinsale and Drew Barrymore, to name just a few.

Tracey spoke to us about how she achieved Natalie’s drastic hair transformation which she debuted on the red carpet this week at a dinner for her choreographer husband Benjamin Millepied’s L.A. Dance Project in Los Angeles.

‘Natalie makes a beautiful Blonde!’ Tracey said. ‘She needed to make the change for an upcoming movie role, and using Redken’s Blonde Dimensions we achieved a gorgeous, multi-dimensional Golden Blonde.’

A big change like this requires a lot of commitment, however, and Tracey recommends sitting on it for a while before making the leap. If you do go for it, here’s her advice.

‘I always recommend colouring every six to eight weeks, but for a single-process colour, you should really do four to six weeks. Two months is just too long,’ she says.

‘You should treat your hair like you would a fine garment—you wouldn’t throw a cashmere sweater into the wash! I love sulfate-free shampoos for gentle cleansing and I recommend Redken’s Color Extend Shampoo & Conditioner to all my clients. It does an amazing job to keep your hair healthy and vibrant’

‘I’m also really into Redken’s Real Control Slim Supreme right now, which I use pre- and post-blow-out for nourishment. It’s just a really good blow-dry serum. It does everything—it gives shine and life to the hair.’

Tracey also says to invest in some styling tools: ‘Buy some hot rollers—big, big hot rollers are awesome. Everybody looks good with a blow-out.’

While we were focusing on Milan Fashion Week and the Emmys, Natalie Portman debuted a platinum blonde hairdo on the red carpet on Saturday evening while attending Van Cleef & Arpels Dinner for LA Dance Project in LA.

She becomes the latest celeb to fall in love with Raf Simons’ Christian Dior Fall 2012 collection, which was the second Dior Couture dress to hit the red carpet this weekend.

Her floor-length white bustier flower-embroidered gown was styled with Van Cleef & Arpels jewels and a red velvet clutch.

The dress was also styled with hot pink shoes, but only Vogue.com have that picture.

I much prefer the dress on the runway, Natalie doesn’t quite have the height to make it work. The skirt looks a tad deflated on Natalie, which is one of the reasons why it appears longer in length.
