Natalie Portman In Christian Dior - 'Esprit Dior, Miss Dior' Exhibition Opening Photocall 2

Natalie Portman attended the ‘Esprit Dior, Miss Dior’ exhibition opening held at the Grand Palais in Paris, France yesterday evening.

Being the good brand ambassador she is, the actress looked divine wearing a Christian Dior Fall 2012 Couture look which at first I thought was a jumpsuit.

The look featured black fitted trousers with a fold-over strapless black-and-white corset-like top with embellished detailing.

Signature simple styling including black Dior pumps, Dior fine jewels, a black Dior clutch and her ever-present Richard Mille watch accessorized her look, with glossy lips and a slicked-back ponytail providing the finishing touches.

I am so glad she opted for this modern look over a gown. Words I rarely say.

Natalie Portman In Christian Dior - Guggenheim International Gala

Joining Jessica Biel for the second evening of the Guggenheim International Gala held at the Guggenheim Museum in New York City on Thursday, Natalie Portman wore her sixth Dior look within a fortnight.

On this occasion she wore a muted hybrid look featuring a part crepe, part draped double silk duchess satin dress with a sheer hem enriched with blue embellishments.

The embellishments keep the look interesting; however, I would’ve liked this look more had the black part of the dress featured tonal embellishments too, or something defining the waist.

The look just feels like it’s missing something, preventing me from falling in love with it.

Black Dior accessories, a Dior Fine Jewelry ‘Bagatelle’ ring, a wavy ‘do and a pop of pink via her nails provided the finishing touches to her look.

Is something missing for you? Or do you love this look as it is?

Natalie Portman In Christian Dior Couture - 'Thor The Dark World' New York Screening

Following her guest appearance on the ‘Late Show with David Letterman’, Natalie Portman continued to promote her new movie ‘Thor: The Dark World’ by attending a special screening at The Marlton in New York City hosted by Dior Beauty.

The actress wore Dior again, this time selecting a look from the Fall 2012 collection – which wasn’t a gown, you’ll be surprised to learn; instead she wore a multi-coloured embroidered silk bustier styled with black wool tapered pants.

After a selection of stunning gowns, including her Best Dressed of the Week couture piece from last week, this look comes as a refreshing change.

Harry Winston jewels, black Dior pumps, and a Charlotte Olympia perspex clutch – with a fuchsia pouch which complemented her top – accessorized her look, with sleek straight locks providing the finishing touch.

Natalie Portman was spotted outside the Ed Sullivan Theater prior to her making a guest appearance on the ‘Late Show with David Letterman’ yesterday to promote her new movie ‘Thor: The Dark World’.

Looking pretty and effortless, the actress wore a Dior midnight-blue heavy silk-cadi dress with a rise-and-fall flared skirt with a white hemline.

Black Dior slingbacks and Harry Winston jewels accessorized her look, with a simple bun and glossy lips completing the look.

Natalie Portman was your runaway winner this week, leaving the competition in the shade of her Christian Dior Couture gown. Some of you likened her to a modern-day Audrey Hepburn, such was your admiration for how graceful she looked in this gown.

My favourite was Diane Kruger in Chanel Couture.

Simplifying the runway look, plus her effortless styling, won me over.
