Natalie Portman In Lanvin – ‘Sicario’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Natalie Portman In Lanvin - ‘Sicario’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Natalie Portman made her fourth appearance at Cannes Film Festival for the premiere of ‘Sicario’ on Tuesday (May 19) in Cannes, France – giving some of the L’Oreal girls a run for their money.

The actress wore a gown from Lanvin’s Fall 2015 collection.

My first reaction was that the dress falls kinda flat, but then Natalie has never been one for bells or whistles, so I guess this dress stays firmly in her no-fuss lane. Plus, the gorgeous jade-green hue saves the look from feeling boring.

However, I’m sure many will still feel it’s dull.

Following last night’s premiere Natalie Portman attended a photocall for ‘A Tale Of Love And Darkness’ during the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival on Sunday (May 17) in Cannes, France.

The fashion gods appeared to have heard Prudence, Alina and Emma’s prayers, as Natalie was finally reunited with Rodarte this afternoon.

The actress looked radiant wearing a sheer black Rodarte Fall 2015 with plenty of intriguing detailing to ensure this was a standout piece.

The look is modern – something that has been lacking from her red carpet repertoire for a while – enticing and not lacking in the joie de vivre department.

Lets continue to pray that the shackles have been loosen to allow more magic moments like this.

Needless to say, this is her best in a while, a very long while.

Natalie Portman attended the ‘A Tale of Love and Darkness’ premiere at the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France on Saturday (May 16), which marked her feature directorial debut.

Picking up where her sleekly modern Cannes opening ceremony look left off, the actress-director’s latest entrance continues in the same stunningly chic vein of form.

Again proving that she and Dior can be a perfect match, she impressed in a Christian Dior Spring 2015 Couture gown that had all the refined glamour we’d anticipate mixed with the modern edge of the graphic blurred floral motif.

Her styling was on point, too, melding sparkling diamond earrings with the youthful essence of a simple ponytail and the flick of midnight-blue eyeliner.

This look likewise falls within the category of one of her best that we’ve seen in some time.

Natalie Portman attended the opening ceremony and premiere of ‘La Tete Haute’ (‘Standing Tall’) during the 2015 Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday (May 13) in Cannes, France.

You’ll get no prizes for guessing she was wearing Dior, but equally you would be forgiven if you thought it wasn’t.

Natalie’s last few Dior frocks haven’t been breath-taking – in fact some have aged her quite drastically – however on this occasion the look is sleek, modern and feminine; everything we expect from a Dior Couture look.

De Grisogono silver jewels helped enhance this stunning look, which I believe is her best in a very long while.

Natalie Portman attended the UCLA Younes & Soraya Nazarian Center For Israel Studies 5th Annual Gala at Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on Tuesday (May 5) in Beverly Hills, California.

The actress wore yet another Dior frock, this time selecting a shimmering burgundy sequin dress styled with Dior sandals and a Roger Vivier clutch.

As Dior frocks go, this is one of the best I have seen on the red carpet in a while as I am neither perplexed or fatigued by the style.

The most encouraging thing about this look is that Natalie finally looks her age, as her choice tend to feel too mature for her at times.

Natalie Portman In Christian Dior – Miss Dior Exhibition Beijing Opening

Natalie Portman In Christian Dior - Miss Dior Exhibition Beijing Opening

Natalie Portman attended the Miss Dior exhibition opening at Ullens Center for Contemporary Art on Wednesday (April 29) in Beijing, China.

Channeling a retro mood, the face of Miss Dior was dressed in a Christian Dior Fall 2015 shift dress with Dior pumps and Dior Fine Jewelry ‘Bagatelle’ white gold and diamond earrings.

While the tonal black satin paneling on the frock created a unique edge, I didn’t love the ultimate effect on her figure.

Still, the ensemble was simple yet charming for the petite actress who continued serving up ’60s flair with her half-up, half-down beehive-inspired ’do, smoky kohl-rimmed eye, and nude lip.

What do you make of her black-and-white look?
