Who Wore Oscar de la Renta Better? Debra Messing or Natalie Cole

Back in January 2008, Debra Messing glided down the red carpet at the 2008 SAG Awards wearing an Oscar de la Renta Spring 2008 gold embellished halter gown.

For me it still ranks as one of her best ever red carpet moments.

Natalie Cole wore the same dress to the 2011 Angel Ball in New York City last month.

The singer looked sensational in this gown, but she overloaded it with too many jewels when the dress didn’t need any extra bling so Debra wins for me.

Natalie Cole is clearly using the same moisturiser as Iman, because the ageless beauty looked sensational at the ’2011 Angel Ball’ in New York City last night.

The legendary singer wore an Oscar de la Renta Spring 2008 gown.

Her timeless gold embroidered gown with a bedazzling neckline will look very familiar to some of you because Debra Messing wore the same dress to the 2008 SAG Awards.

The gown hasn’t lost any of its charm.

It looked just as good, if not better, then as it does now.

Natalie Cole In Dennis Basso – Silver Hill Hospital 80th Anniversary Gala

It’s always a pleasure to see a real diva on the red carpet.

Natalie Cole looked beautiful as she arrived at the Silver Hill Hospital 80th Anniversary Gala in New York City as the Mistress of Ceremonies.

The Gala raised over $1.2 million, which will go to provide financial assistance for adolescents and young adults who desperately need residential treatment but are without adequate resources to cover the costs.

Natalie was radiant on the red carpet wearing a Dennis Basso gown.

Her blacked beaded and tulle gown with Swarovski crystals has the same texture as Look 35 from the Fall 2010 collection.

She added a fur stole, a satin sash tied to the waist and dazzling earrings to compete her look.

Who Wore Haute Hippie Better? LeToya Luckett or Natalie Cole

Former Destiny Child’s singer LeToya Luckett sparkled at her “Lady Love” Album Release Party back in August wearing a Haute Hippie sequin dress which she belted and paired with nude pumps.

59 year old singer Natalie Cole, looked as young as LeToya when she wore the same dress to the “2009 Angel Ball to Benefit Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation” in New York last week.

Despite the her dress being covered in sequins it was Natalie herself that sparkled, from her eyes to her smile so she wins for me.

Also this dress doesn’t need a belt. It looks better hanging loose.
