Natalia Vodianova In Simone Rocha – Naked Heart Foundation’s Fabulous Fund Fair

Natalia Vodianova made a striking entrance at the Naked Heart Foundation’s Fabulous Fund Fair during London Fashion Week on Tuesday (February 20), alongside Doutzen Kroes.

The philanthropist, who founded the organization in 2004 to help underprivileged children and those with special needs in Russia, hosts the event every year and always wears red.

This time, she set the dress code alight with a Simone Rocha Fall 2018 ensemble with Messika jewels.

The trench dress cut a fashion-forward figure with the patent fabric creating a rich textural quality when the light hit it.

The gossamer white dress underneath increased the romance while adding a dynamic mix of textures.

The underlayer may have been ivory rather than red, but if anyone can slightly deviate from the dress code, it’s her, and she did it to the most marvelous effect.

Front Row @ Ralph & Russo Spring 2018 Couture

The dreamy Ralph & Russo Spring 2018 Couture show was held on Monday (January 22) during Paris Fashion Week, with a trio of front-row femmes in the house to witness all the confections.

Kylie Minogue: The beautiful blush tone of this silky, asymmetrical gown conveyed a softly romantic quality on Kylie. A darker sandal to match her nail lacquer would have escalated the dramatic effect even more.

Natalia Vodianova: Of course, I was immediately drawn to this electric-blue number, but what heightened my affection were the little details like the buttons down the side, the dynamic patterning, and the swishy, car wash paneling. Modern sophistication at its finest.

Arizona Muse: A pair of red pumps enlivened this girly, embellished black frock. I think a similar bold crimson shade would have been equally fitting for her lip to tie the look together.

Front Row @ Christian Dior Spring 2018 Couture

A couple of days after the Dior Homme show, more Dior-clad darlings descended on the Rodin Museum for the fashion house’s runway show, the first big one of Paris haute couture week on Monday (January 22).

Emily Blunt: Sleekly elegant styling was the only way to go for this ornately printed Christian Dior Pre-Fall 2018 frock, and Emily complied.

Annabelle Wallis: Statement shirts continue to be a relevant trend, and Annabelle’s fit the bill. I like how she styled it with the graphic jacket (which coincidentally reflected the show’s checquerboard set), high-waist, cropped trousers, and hat for a slice of Parisian rebel-chic.

Willow Smith: Perhaps taking a cue from the surrealist mood of the show in her white eye makeup, Willow offered a more girly perspective than we would expect from her urban-cool style in this sheer tulle gown juxtaposed with a tuxedo vest.

Natalia Vodianova In Ulyana Sergeenko Couture – The Business of Fashion Presents VOICES 2017

Natalia Vodianova was honoured with the Global VOICES Award at a gala dinner during BOF’s VOICES conference on Friday (December 1) in Oxfordshire, England.

Red is definitely the supermodel-philanthropist’s colour, and this Ulyana Sergeenko Spring 2017 Couture gown came alive on her.

I was immediately attracted to how lush this velveteen design was—without appearing heavily weighted down or overbearing, as it beautifully draped behind her.

Additional drama came by way of the wispy statement sleeves that added a slight moment of whimsicality.

I love how Natalia celebrated her home country and heritage by wearing a Russian designer, with the Russian-themed gala dinner and Byzantine décor further paying homage.

2017 amfAR & The Naked Heart Foundation Fabulous Fund Fair

Natalia Vodianova’s annual Fabulous Fund Fair for The Naked Heart Foundation traveled to New York City for the first time in partnership with amfAR on Saturday (October 28). Guests did not shirk their costume duties, either, for the Halloween-themed bash that saw a range of extravagant outfits.

Natalia Vodianova: There was no danger of missing the Naked Heart founder in the crowd, as she was the life-size incarnation of a Jeff Koons sculpture in her Andrey Bartenev balloon-esque design, further amped up by green Alexandre Vauthier Spring 2018 boots.

Naomi Campbell: There was almost more dress in the supermodel’s headdress than in her actual metallic-laced mini from The Blonds Fall 2017 collection.

Izabel Goulart: The model may have been channeling a Frida Kahlo-like spirit, but her Christian Dior Spring 2018 sheer embellished confection was very much within her go-to sexy style. Chopard jewels completed the look that was on the Red Carpet Wish List for Diane Kruger.

Front Row @ Louis Vuitton Spring 2018

Many of the same stars who were at the opening of the Louis Vuitton boutique were seated front row at the Louis Vuitton Spring 2018 show the next day on Tuesday (October 3) during Paris Fashion Week. So, you will be excused if you’re already experiencing a certain kind of déjà vu.

Here, the lineup of the LV looks—take two—from the brand’s biggest fans.

Cate Blanchett: I had a slightly easier time embracing this directional look from Cate, as opposed to her more disjointed offering the day before. Perhaps some elements still seemed a bit forced, but no one can say this wasn’t a mullet-esque look—warrior-chic on the top, and business on the bottom.

Julianne Moore: Stepping away from the colour black, the actress was radiant in this rich, jade-green dress that had its own party happening at the back with the long fringe detail.

Alicia Vikander: Yet again, Alicia’s effortlessly chic look took top billing. In this case, it was her accessories—the handbag and booties, in particular—that really elevated this all-black ensemble.

Front Row @ Valentino Spring 2018

The Valentino Spring 2018 front row had no shortage of chic beauties eager to take in designer Pierpaolo Piccioli’s take on elegant whimsy during Paris Fashion Week on Sunday (October 1).

Natalia Vodianova: Her previous less-is-more M.O. at the Givenchy show was replaced by a more-is-more look in this Valentino Resort 2018 keyhole frock, resplendent with folk patterning. Glittery Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Luce’ ankle boots and a statement earring ensured this was no ordinary maxi dress.

Marion Cotillard: Offering up her blonde ’do in a punk faux-hawk of sorts, the actress donned a Valentino Resort 2018 ensemble that merged menswear-inspired pinstripes, sporty track pants, and feminine, sheer lace. What united the motley collection of trends was the sophisticated colour palette, to which the kelly-green, embellished sandals simply did not make sense.

Izabel Goulart: I loved the romantic simplicity and feminine seduction of this Valentino Resort 2018 plisse dress, which flowed so beautifully and effortlessly around Izabel’s silhouette as she walked. Here, the green accents made perfect sense in the subtle piping at the neckline, the bow at the waist, and her matching clutch.
