Front Row @ Dior Spring 2015 Couture

A chic set of Dior-dressed lovelies held court at the Christian Dior Spring 2015 Couture show, presented on Monday (January 26) during Paris Fashion Week Haute-Couture Spring/Summer 2015 in France.

Natalie Portman: The actress cut a sophisticated profile in a Dior black cashmere top, black silk satin skirt and black bi-colour wool and mohair tweed coat. Further winterizing the look, she paired the ensemble with black tights and accessorized with black Dior heels and a Dior shoulder bag.

Elizabeth Olsen: Skipping the tights but staying with the tweed trend, the starlet wore a Dior black silk and wool tweed jacquard dress with an asymmetrical silhouette paired with a bi-colour wool and mohair tweed jacket, a black Dior clutch and Dior pumps. The beautiful, verdant green shade of her jacket caught my eye.

Natalia Vodianova: The epitome of effortless Parisian chic, the model wore a Dior white wool jacket, a navy cashmere sweater and black wool pants, styling the mannish moment with a small Dior clutch and black Dior pumps. There is not one hint of try-hard in this classic look.

Eva Herzigova: Bringing a punch of bold colour to the front row, the model wore a Dior red heavy silk cadi jumpsuit with a beige wool coat matched to a red Dior clutch and black Dior pumps. With her statuesque frame, she’s able to pull of the loose, languid lines of this jumpsuit, which benefited from the structure of the belt and coat.

Natalia Vodianova In Louis Vuitton - Glamour Women Of The Year Awards

Natalia Vodianova attended the Glamour Women Of The Year Awards held at Carnegie Hall on Monday (November 10) in New York City.

The model wore a Louis Vuitton Resort 2015 look consisting of a floral-print jacket with pale-yellow trousers.

I never pictured Natalia in this collection as her red carpet style appears to be more conservative; however, I found myself really enjoying this change of pace for her, plus I’m delighted to see an LV look without a pair of those ugly boots.

With her favourite brand, Dior, incorporated into her look, she added Dior Fine Jewelry ‘Bagatelle’ white-gold and diamond earrings to provide the finishing touches.

Christian Dior Spring 2015 Front Row

Christian Dior Spring 2015 Front Row

The Christian Dior front row is one I always look forward to during fashion week; however, on this occasion I was somewhat underwhelmed by the looks the ladies were displaying this afternoon (September 26) in Paris, France.

Marion Cotillard: The French actress and Dior ambassador kept her look uber-simple wearing a chic LBD with cobalt-blue velvet ankle boots. I don’t by any means dislike the look, but as always I want just a little bit more from Marion.

Olivia Palermo: The only person who piqued my interest was Olivia. If anyone can spark some life into an LBD it’s her. Her double-breasted coat dress with sheer sleeves was accented with a Dior Resort 2014 scarf, dual-colour Dior bag and a her favourite Jimmy Choo ‘Dream’ tassel-accented sandals.

Dakota Fanning: Wearing a black Dior Couture dress, the black accessories I don’t mind, but I couldn’t help but wish for a pop of colour to the lips or a new hairdo (as always) from Dakota.

Natalia Vodianova & Olga Kurylenko In Christian Dior – Biennale des Antiquaires Pre Opening

Natalia Vodianova & Olga Kurylenko In Christian Dior - Biennale des Antiquaires Pre Opening
Natalia Vodianova and Olga Kurylenko were both in attendance at the ‘Biennale des Antiquaires’ pre opening event at Le Grand Palais in Paris, France on Tuesday (September 9).

Natalia Vodianova: The model maintained her effortless approach to style in a Christian Dior white and black, one-shoulder silk gown that was elegant if safe. A white Dior clutch and glittering black earrings, along with a smoky charcoal eye and natural waves, completed the look.

Olga Kurylenko: Also dressed in Dior, the actress was lovely in a shimmering ivory satin dress with pastel-lavender side panels that reflected the lighting in the room. Her silver Dior clutch and metallic sandals were just as reflective. Glittering jewels, including a lariat necklace, statement cuff and diamond studs, were lovely—but I would have taken at least one piece off.

Natalia Vodianova In Christian Dior - Monumenta 2014 Opening

Natalia Vodianova held a charity dinner at the Grand Palais in Paris, France on Wednesday (May 14) to celebrate the opening of Monumenta 2014 – this year honouring the Russian-American artists Ilya & Emilia Kabakov – and to support the Naked Heart Foundation.

As is customary at this event, the Russian model wore red, donning a luxe Dior Spring 2014 trouser suit, featuring the signature nipped-in waist and flared silhouette.

To her tonal look she added a silk blouse, pointy pumps and a small clutch.

I do love a matchy-matchy look, especially when so well executed like this.

Perfect as it is, or too one note?

Harpers Bazaar Women Of The Year Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Harpers Bazaar Women Of The Year Awards Red Carpet RoundupThe fashionable femmes just kept flooding the Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards, hosted at Claridge’s Hotel in London, England on Tuesday evening. Alongside the starlets, a sweep of models and designers also took to the red carpet.

Natalia Vodianova: The Russian model, who was named Philanthropist of the Year, smiled brightly in a simply chic Stella McCartney Spring 2014 black and navy gown that managed to be both sporty and sleek with a cutout mock-halter neckline and graphic, cerulean colour-block panels at the sides. A Stella McCartney black faux-leather clutch—and what seemed to be barely a slick of makeup—finished this natural beauty’s effortless look.

L’Wren Scott: To accept her ‘Tastemaker of the Year’ award, presented by Olivia Munn, the statuesque designer donned a custom Lady Wisteria dress from her namesake collection. She wore the Asian-inspired, black silk crepe marocain number, with hand-shaded, red thread embroideries, with a pair of crimson, bow-topped pumps. The frock’s thigh-high slit only accented those mile-long legs.

Frida Giannini: The Gucci Creative Director, who received the ‘International Designer’ of the year award, flaunted a Gucci long-sleeve, low-back gown, in a glittery lurex black, silver and platinum leopard pattern. It was edgy-glam at its finest.

Jourdan Dunn: The cat walker, who claimed the Model of the Year prize, strutted out a Tom Ford black-and-white panel gown with side slit and a matching Stark clutch. While this monochrome moment was a mix of sophistication and sexiness, her slinky after-party number from Julien Macdonald’s Spring 2014 collection was just plain sexy. The sheer, netted gold number left little to the imagination—and even littler room for undergarments.
