Who Wore Oscar de la Renta Better…Camilla Belle or Natalia de Molina?

Who Wore Oscar de la Renta Better Camilla Belle or Natalia de Molina

Camilla Belle attended the A Quest for Beauty: ‘The Art Of Van Cleef & Arpels’ event back in October 2013, where she wore a pretty Oscar de la Renta floral dress from the Spring 2014 collection, styled with gold Ferragamo peep-toes and what I still believe (hope) was a wig.

Natalia de Molina wore the same dress to the Berlinale International Film Festival premiere of ‘As We Are Dreaming’, styling her look with yellow Ursula Mascaró pumps back in February, proving how timeless Oscar de la Renta frocks are.

With Natalia’s pumps elevating her look and with her much favourable hairstyle, she wins this easily for me.

Natalia de Molina In Oscar de la Renta & Lorenzo Caprile - Shooting Stars Photocall & 'As We Are Dreaming' Berlin Film Festival Premiere

Natalia de Molina is just one of many stars in Berlin, Germany, for the 65th Berlinale International Film Festival, where she took to the red carpet twice on Sunday (February 8) and Monday (February 9).

Shooting Stars Photocall: Natalie’s Oscar de la Renta Resort 2015 look is like a spring garden party in a dress. Who amongst you isn’t captivated by the floral blooms that enliven this sumptuous fit-and-flare blue frock? We have long been in the knowledge that when it comes to footwear the Spanish actress never disappoints, so I was delighted that trend didn’t end as she selected a pair of yellow Ursula Mascaró pumps. You may remember that Camilla Belle wore this same dress back in 2013.

‘As We Are Dreaming’ Premiere: The following day the beautiful actress was back on the red carpet wearing a red halter gown that was custom made for her by Spanish designer Lorenzo Caprile. Fitted to perfection, I dare not have any qualms about her look, especially when styled so effortlessly with a gold Salvatore Ferragamo clutch and Tesiro jewels, but I do. I wish her hair had been worn up on this occasion. Perhaps it was because the same is the same from the day before, but the hair says daytime while the gown screams after dark, which has me at odds.

The Cosmopolitan Beauty Awards

The Cosmopolitan Beauty Awards

The Cosmopolitan Beauty Awards took place at the Platea Restaurant on Monday (July 7) in Madrid, Spain. Here’s a look at five lovely ladies who caught my eye.

Dafne Fernandez: As you know I have had a long-time crush on Dafne’s style. The Spanish actress wore a gorgeous Burberry Prorsum Pre-Fall 2014 frock with a romantic, preternaturally pretty, simple design rendered in gauzy silk georgette in a fluttering silhouette with a deep V-neck and double slits in the skirt. The look was styled with burnt-orange Roger Vivier pumps, gold jewels and a luscious red lip.

Celia Freijeiro: The actress certainly stood out in her incredibly chic Roksanda Ilincic colour-block patchwork bouclé wool dress from the designer’s Spring 2013 collection. Adding one more colour into the mix, she opted for coral peep-toes, with a black clutch rounding out her look

Natalia de Molina: I almost didn’t recognise Natalia with her new red hair and blunt bangs. Opting for a pink and black frock with a chiffon wrap-layered skirt, this look is more fun and in tune with the spirit of the magazine.

Who Wore Michael Kors Better…Naomi Watts or Natalia de Molina?

Who Wore Michael Kors Better Naomi Watts or Natalia de Molina

Naomi Watts wore the gorgeous Michael Kors Spring 2014 navy-blue floral-specked gown with a refined cut-out detail at the bodice and ruching at the waist to the New York screening of ‘Diana’, styling the look with a red Roger Vivier clutch and chic retro waves.

Natalia de Molina wore the same dress during Malaga Film Festival, opting for more subtle accessories which included a gold clutch.

Many of you weren’t too happy that Naomi wore this dress in October, wishing it was saved for the spring, which Natalia did.

When it was worn aside, I prefer Natalia’s styling on this occasion, so she wins for me.

Natalia de Molina In Andrew Gn & Michael Kors – Malaga Film Festival

Natalia de Molina In Andrew Gn & Michael Kors - Malaga Film Festival

Natalia de Molina had two amazing looks this weekend during the 2014 Malaga Film Festival.

‘La Vida Inesperada’ Premiere: Working a vibrant animal-and-floral-print frock from Temperley London’s Spring 2014 collection, Natalia was not overwhelmed nor did she opt for simple styling. She wore Anton Heunis jewels, Emporio Armani heels – which colour-coordinated perfectly with her dress – and a black Chanel clutch.

Closing Ceremony: For her final look she opted for a flowing, feminine, floral-patterned statement piece from Michael Kors’ Spring 2014 collection, which was rendered with delicate gathered and ruched details. Adding statement jewels, a gold clutch and soft waves rounded out her look. You may remember that Naomi Watts wore this back in October; you were perplexed that Naomi wore this dress during the winter, so now we are in spring how does this look fare?

Natalia de Molina In Oscar de la Renta – Fotogramas Magazine Awards

Natalia de Molina In Oscar de la Renta - Fotogramas Magazine Awards

Natalia de Molina joined Dafne Fernandez and several others for the ‘Fotogramas Magazine Awards’ held at Teatro Joy Eslava on Monday (February 24) in Madrid, Spain.

Having dropped jaws on the red carpet following her Best New Actress Award win at the 2014 Goya Awards, the actress stuns again wearing a beautiful pearly-champagne-pink Oscar de la Renta dress embellished with sequins.

Dazzling from head to toe, the actress styled her look with Magerit jewels, Bgo & Me satin pumps with a jewel accent and a gold Jimmy Choo clutch.

Although her Andrew Gn gown was my favourite look from her this awards season, this pretty party frock comes a very close second.
