Naomi Watts In Altuzarra – Cannes Film Festival Opening Ceremony Dinner

Naomi Watts In Altuzarra - Cannes Film Festival Opening Ceremony Dinner

After sweeping onto the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival ‘La Tete Haute’ premiere in an Elie Saab Couture gown, Naomi Watts slipped into something more streamlined for the Opening Ceremony dinner on Wednesday (May 14) in Cannes, France.

For her second look of the evening, she wore an Altuzarra Fall 2015 sheer, beaded design with a ruffled, period-style collar and a thigh-high slit for added allure.

Her Bulgari jewels, including that beautiful cuff, enhanced the look on this occasion. But I don’t share the same fondness for the blocky silver sandals that could have been a bit more delicate for the dress.

There was some disappointment voiced about her first ensemble of the night, so I wonder if this one does anything to put her back in your good graces?

Naomi Watts In Elie Saab Couture – ‘La Tete Haute’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere & Opening Ceremony

Opening Ceremony & "La Tete Haute" Premiere - The 68th Annual Cannes Film Festival

Naomi Watts attended the opening ceremony and premiere of ‘La Tete Haute’ (‘Standing Tall’) during the 2015 Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday (May 13) in Cannes, France.

We wondered if those feathered confections from Elie Saab’s Spring 2015 Couture collection could ever work on a red carpet.

Well here is our answer – yes, they can.

While once again perplexed by the heavy necklace (no doubt a contractual obligation), when in this case the dress is already so bedazzled, it doesn’t take anything away from this breath-taking piece – Naomi is a vision of perfection.

Do you agree?

Naomi Watts In Givenchy – Jimmy Kimmel Live

Naomi Watts In Givenchy - Jimmy Kimmel Live

Naomi Watts recently made an appearance on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live.’

Injecting her look with the sexy allure that characterized the Givenchy Spring 2015 collection, the actress made a dynamic entrance in black and white.

The wild stripes of her low-cut, sheer chiffon top were tamed by skinny black trousers and simple black sandals for an all-out sophisticated approach as we’d expect from Naomi.

It may have not been a dress, but the mood was va-va-voom, especially given the crimson red lip and crimped waves.

Naomi Watts In Marchesa – LACMA 50th Anniversary Gala

Naomi Watts In Marchesa - LACMA 50th Anniversary Gala
Naomi Watts attended LACMA’s 50th anniversary gala at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art in California on Saturday (April 18) with her handsome partner, Liev Schreiber, by her side.

The actress wore a Marchesa Spring 2015 floral-embroidered halter gown that took on a lovely, graceful vibe with its wrap-front silhouette and subtle pastel shades.

Following the relaxed nature of the dress, she styled the look effortlessly with metallic Jimmy Choo ‘Sling’ sandals, loosely pulled-back locks and a soft-pink lip.

So, that is all more reason why I am still puzzled about that dark snakeskin Jimmy Choo ‘Ciggy’ clutch. It was the black eye on this rose-tinged look.

Naomi Watts In Giorgio Armani – 2015 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Naomi Watts In Giorgio Armani - 2015 Vanity Fair Party

Naomi Watts wore her second look of the night while attending the 2015 Vanity Fair Oscar party held at Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday (February 22) in Beverly Hills, California.

Sticking with Armani, the actress harnessed the timeless distinction of the revered brand wearing a custom white tuxedo.

Ordinarily I would be fairly unmoved by such a look with so many gowns on display, but the sharp tailoring of the collarless blazer – with flap pockets acting like a peplum – makes this a stand-out look.

I love how the black Rauwolf clutch, Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals and thin belt provide a sharp contrast.

If by now you have gown fatigue, this look should awaken your senses.
