Naomi Watts In Michael Kors - 'Diana' New York Screening

Naomi Watts walked the red carpet at the ‘Diana’ screening, hosted by The Cinema Society with Linda Wells & ‘Allure’ magazine, at SVA Theater in New York City on Wednesday.

The movie’s main star was understatedly glam in a Michael Kors Spring 2014 navy-blue, floral-specked gown with a refined, cutout detail at the bodice.

She increased the sophisticated tone of the breezy, printed gown with a crimson Roger Vivier ‘Marechale’ clutch and the flash of Harry Winston diamonds.

Retro, side-parted finger waves and the slick of a red lip further contributed to the old-Hollywood-inspired, forties flair of her look.

Who Wore Alexander McQueen Better Naomi Watts or Naomi Campbell

Back in June, Naomi Watts wore a black leather Alexander McQueen dress with a flounced hem which she styled with a Proenza Schouler ‘Lunch’ clutch, Sergio Rossi ‘Oblo’ sandals, and a gold necklace while attending the ‘Ray Donovan’ LA premiere.

At the time, I felt that this dress wasn’t Naomi’s style. That was further compounded when Naomi Campbell wore it last month while attending a party for her reality show, ‘The Face’.

Even with those heavy Alaia booties, the dress was more in tune with her style…so Nay Nay wins for me.

Giorgio Armani - One Night Only NYC

Stylishly clad stars collided at Giorgio Armani – One Night Only New York, held yesterday at SuperPier in New York City, with many, of course, trotting out mainly monochromatic looks from the event’s namesake designer.

Renee Zellweger: The actress skipped the skirt and suited up in a black, bow-accented blazer and loose trousers. Her minimal styling and barely-there makeup contributed to the more mannish aesthetic.

Hilary Swank: Also wearing the pants to the party, Hilary took a more dramatic approach with her slim-line pair worn with a glittery, nipped-in blazer top, further vamping up the look with strappy sandals, a smokey eye and loose waves.

Naomi Watts: Playing with proportion, the ‘Diana’ actress pulled off a silken, charcoal-grey top with billowy sleeves paired with a loose, floor-scraping black skirt. There was a lot of fabric to be had here, but there was still an effortless elegance with her swept-back locks and gemstone Monique Péan earrings.

Naomi Watts In Erdem - 2013 'Take Home A Nude' Benefit Art

Naomi Watts joined Lake Bell at the 2013 ‘Take Home a Nude’ Benefit Art Auction and Party at Sotheby’s in New York City on Tuesday.

The actress was classic in an Erdem flowery frock with bold yellow and pink blooms. The boatneck dress lost a bit of its fresh edge since her Danielle Michetti black pumps were a rather uninspired pairing for this ladylike look.

She accessorized with delicate Aurelie Bidermann earrings and a Calvin Klein Collection mini clutch, but her glossy berry-pink lip was the most dynamic addition.

Naomi Watts In Marchesa - 'Diana' Paris Premiere

Naomi Watts floated down the red carpet at the ‘Diana’ Paris premiere at the Cinema UGS Normandie in France on Friday evening.

The actress followed the white theme of her London premiere look with a romantic Marchesa Spring 2013 frock. However, this confection, while perhaps a bit unexpected, brought far more fantasy and allure.

The slight trapeze silhouette, in combination with the sheer lace detail and wispy chiffon-like layers, simultaneously had a sweet yet style-forward effect. The prettiness was amplified with her loosely swept-back updo and petal-pink lip.

The flash of that dark clutch was a fair reminder that Naomi’s embellished nude sandals were a thankful reprieve from black pumps, which would have wilted this delicate dress.
