Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Naomi Watts strutted down the red carpet for the 2014 Met Gala on Monday (May 5) in New York City.

Departing from her usual old Hollywood glamour, the ‘Diana’ star surprised us with a Givenchy Couture sheer gown. The intricate embroidery fading from white to black in the front, the open back, and the sheer black skirt make this look even more unique.

Adding to the sophistication, Namoi wore beaded earrings with her hair pulled back and natural fresh-face makeup.

While this was the right occasion to take her love for fashion to the next step, I kind of missed the old-school elegance mixed with modern chic, she usually gives us.

Also, is anyone else having a ‘Black Swan’ déjà vu or is it just me?

Naomi Watts In Roland Mouret - 25th Annual GLAAD Media Awards

Naomi Watts attends the 25th Annual GLAAD Media Awards on May 3, 2014 in New York City.

Going for bright yellow to stand out pink, Naomi would’ve stood out on this red carpet.

The actress wore a Roland Mouret Spring 2014 ensemble featuring a strapless top with signature folds and straight leg cropped trousers with a shiny front red panel.

Styled with a red Roger Vivier clutch she added a pair of electric blue Christian Louboutin ‘Toboggan’ sandals.

I love everything from the colours and styling of this look, plus it’s nice to see some volume in her hair.

Naomi Watts In Preen - BVLGARI 130 Years of Masterpiece Exhibition Launch Gala

Naomi Watts attended a gala to celebrate the BVLGARI: 130 Years of Masterpieces exhibition launch in Houston, Texas on Thursday (April 30).

The actress wore a Preen Pre-Fall 2014 V-back frock for the occasion.

What’s striking about this look is the mix of floral devoré and sunshine-yellow, which makes it a standout cocktail option.

Being the perfect brand ambassador, she styled the look with a Bvlgari serpent necklace and the brand’s popular Bvlgari ‘Lipstick’ clutch in patchwork metallic silver.

Nude Christian Louboutin ‘So Kate’ pumps, an orange lip and a wavy updo completed her look.

I was tempted to say the necklace was a tad too much but, on reflection, it adds a lot to the look, especially when styled with that clutch.

Naomi Watts In Elie Saab - BVLGARI LVCEA Unveiling

Naomi Watts attended the BVLGARI LVCEA unveiling during Baselworld on Thursday (March 27) in Basel, Switzerland.

As the face of the brand, Naomi decked herself out in their jewels, plus she carried their ‘Lipstick’ clutch in bronze snakeskin, but it’s the royal-blue hue of her Elie Saab Pre-Fall 2014 jumpsuit which stands out here.

Naomi looks so very statuesque in her sleeveless jumpsuit with lace details for an added feminine touch.

Brian Atwood ‘Wagner’ peep-toes in black-and-gold painted cork completed her look.

Naomi Watts turned heads as she made her way down the Oscars 2014 red carpet at the Hollywood & Highland Center on Sunday (March 2) in Hollywood, California.

The stunning actress wore a custom Calvin Klein Collection gown encrusted in beading from head to toe.

The simple silhouette, cap sleeves and dramatic monochromatic beading is simply divine.

Her Bvlgari diamond collar necklace, simple bracelet and diamond stud earrings are perfectly suited to the gown, while her red lips and glossy, sideswept locks further cement this look as head-to-toe perfection.

Are you as taken with this entire look as I am?
