Naomi Watts In Giorgio Armani – 2015 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Naomi Watts In Giorgio Armani - 2015 Vanity Fair Party

Naomi Watts wore her second look of the night while attending the 2015 Vanity Fair Oscar party held at Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday (February 22) in Beverly Hills, California.

Sticking with Armani, the actress harnessed the timeless distinction of the revered brand wearing a custom white tuxedo.

Ordinarily I would be fairly unmoved by such a look with so many gowns on display, but the sharp tailoring of the collarless blazer – with flap pockets acting like a peplum – makes this a stand-out look.

I love how the black Rauwolf clutch, Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals and thin belt provide a sharp contrast.

If by now you have gown fatigue, this look should awaken your senses.

Naomi Watts In Armani Privé – 2015 Oscars

Naomi Watts In Armani Privé - 2015 Oscars

Naomi Watts walked the red carpet on Sunday (February 22) at the 2015 Oscars, hosted at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre.

Decked out in Armani Prive, the ‘Birdman’ star and presenter for the evening went for a typically Naomi-like bold style.

Naomi is a red carpet star and her Academy Awards gown of choice proves yet again that she’s able to take fashion risks and pull it off gracefully.

A black, white and gray pattern that semi-resembled bricks looked graphic and fresh when worn by the actress. The halter neckline had beautifully delicate straps and the black, beaded cutout along the sides of the gown proved to be a modern and chic take on the cutout trend.

Naomi added glamour to her contemporary style with oversized inky-blue and diamond drop earrings and a black Rauwolf clutch. Soft waves and a deep berry lip topped off the look in perfection.

Naomi Watts In Altuzarra & Antonio Berardi – 17th Costume Designers Guild Awards & BVLGARI Pre-Oscar Event

Naomi Watts In Altuzarra & Antonio Berardi - 17th Costume Designers Guild Awards & BVLGARI Pre-Oscar Event

Joining Laura Dern at both the 17th Costume Designers Guild Awards and the BVLGARI And Save The Children STOP. THINK. GIVE. Pre-Oscar Event on Tuesday (February 17) in Beverly Hills, California, Naomi Watt’s theme for the night was all white.

17th Costume Designers Guild Awards: Her first look was a refreshingly crisp halter gown, which was simple in design and oozing elegance. I’m glad the styling was kept very simple on this occasion. I’m often on the fence with Naomi’s looks but this I love, especially with the pop of colour coming from her green Irene Neuwirth earrings.

BVLGARI And Save The Children STOP. THINK. GIVE. Pre-Oscar Event: The face of Bvlgari was front and centre at this event, wearing an Antonio Berardi Pre-Fall 2015 white strapless dress with ruffled details, which served as a perfect blank canvas for her opulent sapphire Bvlgari necklace. Sadly, I can’t say I’m too enamoured by this look in its entirety. A) I wish she’d worn a gown, and B) apart from the necklace, this look could’ve benefited from better styling.

Naomi Watts In Zac Posen – 2015 G’Day USA Gala

Naomi Watts In Zac Posen - 2015 G’Day USA Gala

Naomi Watts attended the 2015 G’Day USA Gala held at the Hollywood Palladium on Saturday (January 31) in Los Angeles, California, joining fellow Aussies Nicole Kidman and Chris Hemsworth.

The actress wore a Zac Posen Pre-Fall 2015 cap-sleeve gown rendered in silk with a perforated diamond pattern and a jewel neckline.

While I love the colour and the feminine silhouette, I am not too excited about the design, but that is perhaps a result of being used to being blown away by the great designer’s architectural pieces.

Irene Neuwirth teardrop earrings and a Charlotte Olympia ‘Pandora’ clutch completed her look.

Naomi Watts In Balenciaga – 2015 SAG Awards

NaomiWattsInBalenciaga2015SAGAwards

Naomi Watts hit the red carpet at Sunday’s (January 25) 2015 SAG Awards, hosted at the Los Angeles Shrine Auditorium.

Naomi is a pro at selecting beautiful gowns, and her choice of Balenciaga was, no surprise, a red carpet stunner. What I love most about the ‘St. Vincent’ nominee’s choice, is that instead of opting to play it safe and wear black, she went with navy, which is arguably the cool girl’s dark hue of the moment.

The simple column silhouette looked fantastic on Naomi’s petite frame, and the off-the-shoulder textured detail added an element of surprise.

Naomi punctuated her gown with a honeycomb metallic clutch and jewels by Bvlgari.

This is a winning look if I’ve ever seen one.
