Burberry Prorsum Fall 2014 Womenswear Show

Burberry Prorsum Fall 2014 Womenswear Show

The Burberry Prorsum Fall 2014 fashion show took place during London Fashion Week this afternoon (February 17).

As we’ve come to expect, the hottest ticket in town attracted a lot of celebrity faces, some of whom also attended the menswear show last month. Bradley Cooper didn’t take to the red carpet, but you can see him seated next to Anna Wintour below.

Paloma Faith: After working a summery BDOTY-worthy look for the menswear show, Paloma was in a more Fall-like mood. Wearing pieces from the Pre-Fall 2013 collection including a London landscape printed tee and green jacquard pencil skirt, she wore the same maroon hat she wore for her last red carpet appearance, but it worked much better on this occasion when styled with a matching coat.

Naomie Harris: While the coat-and-open-toe-sandals fashion police may not favour this look, I have to say I’m loving the chic combo of the velvet devore coat with the chartreuse velvet sandal. Did I say love? Yes, LOVE.

Naomie Harris In Gucci – 2014 BAFTAs

Naomie Harris In Gucci - 2014 BAFTAsNaomie Harris stunned on the red carpet at the 2014 BAFTAs, hosted on Sunday (February 16) at The Royal Opera House in London, England.

The ‘Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom’ actress was back to her best, looking ever so pretty in pink wearing a Gucci gown rendered in a delicious shade of deep watermelon.

Although the dress featured a plunge neckline and high front-side slit, the tasteful sophistication never slid away.

Using the black waistband as inspiration, Naomie accessorized with a black box Rauwolf clutch and black Christian Louboutin ‘Miss Rigidaine’ pumps, along with a flourish of sparkle via Cartier earrings and cocktail ring.

Pink perfection. Would you agree?

Naomie Harris In Chanel – Charles Finch & Chanel Pre BAFTA Party

Naomie Harris In Chanel - Charles Finch & Chanel Pre BAFTA Party

One of the stand-out looks of last night goes to Naomie Harris as she attended the Charles Finch and Chanel pre-BAFTA party at Annabel’s in London’s Mayfair (February 15).

Only one lucky lady would have been able to wear this instantly recognisable Chanel Spring 2014 print dress to the event and Naomie was the chosen one.

The asymmetric cut and various pleats, folds and layers create an effortless feminine dress which Naomie wears well, but I must admit I don’t love. I really feel the dress is wearing Naomie rather than the other way around.

Such a vibrant print deserves a complementary bold accessory which is why her pearl bracelet is so great but it’s shame to see Naomie opt for a pair of simple black sandals. A colourful yellow sandal would have been so much more vibrant, don’t you think?

Naomie Harris In Burberry Prorsum – Harvey Weinstein’s Pre-BAFTA Dinner

Naomie Harris In Burberry Prorsum - Harvey Weinstein's Pre-BAFTA Dinner

Ahead of Sunday’s awards ceremony, British actress Naomie Harris attended Harvey Weinstein’s pre-BAFTA dinner yesterday evening (February 14) held at London’s Little House Mayfair.

The ‘Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom’ actress has become a reliable red carpet star who never fails to impress with her chic feminine style. And this Burberry Prorsum Resort 2014 macramé lace dress is no exception.

The dark aqua green was a great colour for Naomie and the lustrous textured-satin Burberry clutch with crystal embellishment not only complemented this palette but also added a splendid hit of sparkle.

While there’s no denying Naomie looks great, this dress was clearly designed to make a feature of the shoulders so it is a shame Naomie is covering hers with long, loose waves.

To finish, Naomie added a classic pair of Jimmy Choo courts which were ideal for a stormy winters evening in London, but could have been a little more modern for this on-trend look.

Naomie Harris In Naeem Khan – The London Critics’ Circle Film Awards

Naomie Harris In Naeem Khan - The London Critics' Circle Film Awards

Naomie Harris attended the London Critics’ Circle Film Awards held at the Mayfair Hotel on Sunday (February 2) in London.

The ‘Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom’ actress channelled her inner 1920s woman (minus the bobbed hair), wearing a Naeem Khan lemon scalloped sleeveless beaded fringe dress from the designer’s Pre-Fall 2014 collection.

Her flapper-esque look was styled with a Zagliani ‘Faye’ metallic-silver python clutch with a gold-bar closure, a Boucheron ring and silver Christian Louboutin ‘Athena’ sandals.

I would’ve loved to have seen a different hairstyle on this occasion, but I do love the yellow on her skin tone and the decision to opt for silver accessories instead of gold, which I think may have been my first choice.
