Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Naomie Harris In Burberry Prorsum - Governors Awards 2013

Naomie Harris joined Lupita Nyong’o, Amy Adams, Lea Seydoux and Angelina Jolie on the red carpet for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Governors Awards held at the Grand Ballroom of the Hollywood and Highland Center in LA yesterday evening.

The British actress looked divine wearing a Burberry, alluringly desirable, stretch-crepe short sleeve frock from ‘The London Exclusives’ collection

Her dress was enriched with embellished details at the neckline and shoulders which also line the back giving the cut-out detail a dramatic, sexier feel.

Opting for sleek straight locks over the romantic curls she has favoured for her last few red carpet appearances, Naomie completed her look with a Jimmy Choo ‘Kase’ oval clutch.

Naomie Harris In Valentino - 'Mandela Long Walk To Freedom' New York Premiere

In terms of promo tours, Naomie Harris’ for ‘Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom’ has been flawless. The British beauty has not skipped a beat.

Last night she attended the New York premiere held at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center wearing a Valentino Spring 2014 gown.

Her long-sleeved sheer tulle floor-length gown featuring a high neck, A-line waist, pleating at the front and back, and colourful embroidery throughout was styled with Christian Louboutin blue python pumps and a black Jimmy Choo clutch.

With parts of her hair pulled back and the rest left wavy, she completed her look with a nude lip colour and diamond Kwiat earrings.

AFI FEST 2013 Presented By Audi Premiere Of The Weinstein Company's "Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom" - ArrivalsWhen the gorgeous Naomie Harris hit the red carpet for the AFI Fest premiere of her film ‘Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom’, her feminine makeup was the perfect accompaniment to her Oscar de la Renta dress.

To create the look, makeup artist Mylah Morales first cleansed Naomie’s skin with Koh Gen Do’s Cleansing Spa Water. Then, she moisturized with La Mer The Moisturizing Lotion.

Next, she applied Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation all over Naomie’s face with a Beauty Blender, followed by a lighter shade of the same foundation on the t-zone, forehead and under her eyes for a contouring effect.

To finish the complexion, Mylah mixed a combination of Kevyn Aucoin The Sensual Skin Enhancer with Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer to mask any uneven places on the skin, and then used Make Up For Ever Mat Bronze to contour Naomie’s forehead, cheekbones and jawline.

For the cheeks, Mylah had Naomie smile, and then mixed NARS Blush in Exhibit A and Liberté and applied the custom shade to the apples of her cheeks.

On Naomie’s eyes, Mylah used Tom Ford Eye Shadow Quad in Silvered Topaz. She applied the lightest color (top left) on the entire lid as a base, and then used the smokey brown (bottom left) in the crease. She lined the top eyelids with NARS Eye Paint in Black Valley, and to give that final look of glam, applied Ardell Individuals Flare Black Medium lashes followed by two coats of Dior Diorshow Mascara in black.

On the lips, Mylah mixed Giorgio Armani Rouge d’Armani Lipstick in 503 and Tom Ford Ultra Shine Lipgloss in Naked for the perfect pink shiny lip.

Naomie Harris In Vionnet - 'Mandela Long Walk To Freedom' LA Premiere

Just yesterday I was singing Naomie Harris’ praises, so I was delighted she continued to keep the fashion flame burning brightly while taking to the red carpet yesterday evening for the LA premiere of ‘Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom’ held at ArcLight Cinemas Cinerama Dome in Hollywood, California.

It appears she is on a mission to outdo each previous look, starting with Westwood, then Oscar de la Renta, and now we are blessed with this breathtaking Vionnet Spring 2014 heavenly delight.
Her pale-blue silk-tulle plisse gown featured a keyhole detail and cut-outs at the side and hips; however, the look didn’t come across as too revealing.

Working an on-trend hand-cuff, she carried a grey pebble-leather Burberry Prorsum Pre-Fall 2013 clutch, rounding out her look with silver sandals and luscious curls.

Naomie Harris In Oscar de la Renta - 'Mandela Long Walk To Freedom' AFI Fest Premiere

Naomie Harris attended the ‘Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom’ premiere during AFI FEST 2013 held at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood, California yesterday evening, following the 2013 BAFTA Los Angeles Britannia Awards.

I’m not sure when the turning point was, but Naomie is one of my current red carpet favourites.

We were a bit bummed that her looks were a bit lukewarm during her ‘Skyfall’ promo tour, but now she’s firing on all cylinders.

She worked her magic once again, wearing an Oscar de la Renta easy-breezy white cotton leaf-crochet knit dress with Caribbean-blue chandelier earrings and aqua suede ‘Issa’ d’orsay pumps from the designer’s Spring 2014 collection.

This light-blue worked for her the night before and it’s even better the second time round.

Are you developing a girl crush, or is it already fully formed?
