Naomie Harris in Naeem Khan - 2014 Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala

Donning her second look from the holiday period, Naomie Harris attended the 25th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala held at Palm Springs Convention Center on Sunday (January 4) in Palm Springs, California.

The stunning ‘Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom’ star wore an ivory Chantilly lace 3/4 sleeve gown with floral appliqués and a black velvet belt from Naeem Khan’s Spring 2014 collection.

At times, black and white doesn’t always excite me, but this look is much improved with the black waistband, especially with the additional styling of the oval Rauwolf clutch and Jimmy Choo ‘Maury’ sandals.

All white could’ve had a touch of ‘here comes the bride’ about it.

David Morris jewels, red nails and wavy locks completed her look.

Naomie Harris In Marchesa Voyage - 2013 Capri Hollywood Film Festival

Idris Elba and Naomie Harris ended 2013 on a high note, looking stunning as they have during their stellar promotional efforts for ‘Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom’.

Both were on hand to receive honours for their performances in the movie as they were named Actor and Actress of the Year, respectively, at the 2013 Capri Hollywood Film Festival.

Naomie Harris: The British actress donned a Marchesa Voyage marble tuxedo dress with a black shawl, collar lapels and a lace insert accenting the plunge which she styled with Christian Louboutin Estanodo patent leather peep-toe booties. Are the shoes too literal considering the dress, or do they complement the dress perfectly?

Idris Elba: The actor looked devilishly handsome as always wearing all black save for his burgundy cashmere sweater. Wearing an overcoat instead of a blazer has served him so well.

Naomie Harris In Marchesa - Dubai Film Festival Portrait Session

Naomie Harris took part in a portrait session during the 10th Annual Dubai International Film Festival held at the Madinat Jumeirah Complex earlier today (December 12) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Following her stunning Monique Lhuillier gown from the night before, the British actress wore another red carpet favourite, this time from Marchesa’s Spring 2014 collection.

The delicate three-piece lace look featuring a lace inspired needlework cardigan with silk satin ribbon tie and silver metallic bralet paired with pearl grey lochrose and feather tiered skirt was sadly styled with some shoes I didn’t favour, but everything works from the ankles up so I can easily give the footwear a pass on this occasion.

Naomie Harris In Monique Lhuillier - Oxfam Charity GalaFresh off her Best Dressed of the Week status, Naomie Harris continued to impress at the Oxfam Charity Gala, held today as part of the 10th annual Dubai International Film Festival at the Armani Hotel in Dubai.

The ‘Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom’ actress was delightful in a Monique Lhuillier Spring 2014 gown in a coral-rose hue that was lovely against her skin tone. The diaphanous confection was embellished with a lace yoke and finished with an elegant train.

The black box clutch didn’t even prove to be much of an eyesore here, as it provided an intriguing contrast to her feminine look.

A half-up, half-down ‘do, along with blushing makeup hues and on-trend ear cuffs, completed her pretty-in-pink entrance.

Best Dressed Of The Week - Naomie Harris In Alexander McQueen & David Beckham In Ralph Lauren

Naomie Harris was our best dressed this week by a very long margin, looking elegant in an Alexander McQueen strapless black peplum embellished gown worn to the ‘Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom’ royal premiere. She herself looked like royalty, adding an extra touch of sparkle with Jessica McCormack jewels.

David Beckham smouldered on the red carpet of ‘The Class of 92′ premiere wearing a Ralph Lauren black two-button suit accented with a red ribbon in support of World AIDS Day to nab the majority of the votes this week

There were many close contenders, but no one wears a suit quite like Becks.

Naomie Harris In Alexander McQueen - 'Mandela Long Walk To Freedom' Royal Premiere

Naomie Harris attended the royal premiere of ‘Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom’ alongside Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge this evening.

I have been gushing over Naomie for a while now, and she continues to prove that the high-praise is justified in her Alexander McQueen gown.

The black strapless gown with gold embroidery enriching the peplum detailing may just be her best look yet, and I’m not just referring to this promo tour.

It fits to perfection; she oozes glamour and sex appeal, and the impeccable styling, including the hair and makeup, puts this on another level of brilliance.

This just might be a late contender for my BDOTY list.

You can buy Naomie’s Alexander McQueen Strapless Peplum Gown from Neiman Marcus.
