The Saturdays – 2014 Pride of Britain Awards

Pride Of Britain Awards - Red Carpet Arrivals

Three-fifths of girl group The Saturdays attended the Pride of Britain Awards at The Grosvenor House Hotel on Monday (October 6) in London, England, all opting for halter-neck dresses.

Mollie King: While she may have got the halter-neck memo, she didn’t get the wear black memo, standing out from the trio wearing a Julien Macdonald Spring 2014 dove-grey gown accented with shimmering mesh panels meaning she could forgo wearing bling on the night.

Vanessa White: She may be the shortest in the line-up, but she grabbed my attention in her Forever Unique ‘Blair’ gown. Sleek and elegant, she continues to be the one I look to first in this group. Style-wise, she’s come such a long way.

Rochelle Humes: Oozing grace and elegance from every pore, Rochelle stood head and shoulders above her bandmates wearing a gorgeous lace Philip Armstrong gown with a point d’esprit panel. She couldn’t have done much more to perfect this look.

The Saturdays – Glamour Women of the Year Awards

Glamour Women Of The Year Awards - Arrivals

Mollie King, Rochelle Humes and Vanessa White, three-fifths of The Saturdays, attended the Glamour Women of the Year Awards at Berkeley Square Gardens on Tuesday (June 3) in London, England.

Mollie King: The blonde singer wore a summer look consisting of a Louis Vuitton Spring 2013 simple white ’60s-style dress with patch pocket detailing styled with LV sandals and an eggplant LV clutch with gold chain detailing. As a diehard Dolce & Gabbana girl, it’s refreshing to see her embrace another brand.

Rochelle Humes: Opting for a sexier look, the TV presenter donned a sexy fitted Jasper Conran Fall 2014 dress styled with a gorgeous pair of gold strappy (must-have) sandals.

Vanessa White: The singer wore a black organza mini Alice McCall ‘Queen of Bermuda’dress with vivid green floral embroidery styled with simple black sandals.

Which look stands out for you?

I love the vibrancy of Rochelle and Vanessa’s after-dark looks. I feel like I have seen Mollie in this style of dress many times before.

Gemma Arterton & Mollie King In Gucci – ‘The Director’ London Screening

Gemma Arterton & Mollie King In Gucci - 'The Director' London Screening

Gucci and Vanity Fair in association with Fashion & Cinema hosted the UK premiere of James Franco’s documentary film ‘The Director’ at the Curzon Cinema in Mayfair, London on Tuesday (April 8).

Gemma Arterton: The British actress kept it casual in simple separates which you and I would wear to the cinema, adding a Gucci fluid metallic canvas double-breasted trench coat, Gucci black loafers with the signature gold horsebit details and a Gucci ‘Bamboo’ leather shopper tote. I love how this casual look is so high-end.

Mollie King: The British singer opted for a more dressy-casual approach, wearing a Gucci Resort 2014 look consisting of a gold knit sweater and cream silk-satin wide-leg trousers which add polish to her look while still boasting a glamorous feel. She styled her look with a selection of perspex bangles and a gold-metallic high-heeled sandal with a gold horsebit detail.
Even though they are wearing two different looks, I love the cohesive feel.

Mollie King In Dolce & Gabbana – The Glamour Of Italian Fashion 1945-2014 VIP Private View

Mollie King In Dolce & Gabbana - The Glamour Of Italian Fashion 1945-2014 VIP Private View

Mollie King attended a VIP private viewing of ‘The Glamour of Italian Fashion 1945-2014′ held at the Victoria & Albert Museum on Wednesday (April 2) in London, England.
The singer followed the dress code by wearing an Italian designer, turning to her favourite boys: Dolce & Gabbana.

She donned a coin-print Dolce & Gabbana slip-lined dress cut from light-as-air stretch silk-chiffon which is fitted through the body, with floaty flared sleeves that add drama.

Adding more coinage to her look, her dress was styled with a gold-tone Dolce & Gabbana medallion raffia shoulder bag inspired by ancient Sicilian currency, and gold Dolce & Gabbana sandals.

This is quite a chic way to honour Sicilian style, don’t you think?

Mollie King joined Natalie Dormer and Anna Friel on the red carpet at InStyle magazine’s ‘The Best of British Talent’ Pre-BAFTA party held at Dartmouth House on Tuesday (February 4) in London.

The ‘Saturdays’ singer kept it simple in classic black and white, wearing a Dolce & Gabbana satin dress with a lace print, with minimal styling including black pumps.

An updo with face-framing tendrils and glossy lips completed her look.

Do you like this fairly conservative party look, or do you wish she’d amped it up a bit?

Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women of the Year Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women of the Year Awards

Here is a roundup of the rest of the attendees at the Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women of the Year Awards held at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London yesterday evening.

Ellie Goulding: The singer sported a barely there makeup look, wearing a dual-colour ivory-and-white Dolce & Gabbana strapless frock with a corseted bodice and velvet skirt accented with a satin waistband. Does her makeup wash her out?

Paloma Faith: The one person we can usually rely on for a bit of colour and plenty of drama opted for a very demure look by her standards, wearing a black velvet Stella McCartney long-sleeved frock with embroidered sleeves, which she styled with all-black accessories.

Mollie King: There’s something about Mollie that hasn’t quite been working for me of late. The best-dressed member of The Saturdays kept it super simple, wearing a black Dolce & Gabbana shift dress with black pumps that reads boring to me. A statement necklace would’ve made a world of difference, as that Silvia Furmanovich cuff and cocktail ring aren’t enough to pique my interest.
