Runway To Sidewalk – Mischa Barton In Miu Miu

Last week Mischa Barton was spotted leaving the Old Swan Pub in London wearing a Miu Miu Spring 2010 dress.

This collection wasn’t easy to pull off, but stars such as Kirsten Dunst, Malin Akerman, Keira Knightley and Daisy Lowe have successfully.

Mischa on the other hand get two thumbs down.

From the Lindsay Lohan blonde extensions, to her swallow print Miu Miu dress which looks part-bikini part-apron in it’s design to her bland black pumps, this look begs the question “What Where You Thinking Mischa?”

I’m all for people taking risks, but this is just a hot mess.

She doesn’t have the style, class nor finesse to pull this look off.

Who Wore Marchesa Better? Mischa Barton or Fan Bingbing

After a rocky few months Mischa Barton made a comeback on the red carpet at the “2010 amfAR’s Cinema Against AIDS Gala” during Cannes Film Festival back in May.

She look good wearing a Marchesa Fall 2010 gown.

Her white satin chiffon draped column with ruffled off-shoulder neckline was breath-taking.

A Marchesa diamond crystal clutch completed her look.

Everything was great apart from the make-up which felt heavy for such an ethereal gown.

Fan Bingbing wore the same dress recently when she attended a reception for the opening of a Chanel store in China this month.

She looks far more graceful in her gown, plus she wears this gown on her shoulders unlike Mischa who’s dress was hanging down far too low for my liking.

This is an easy win for Fan.

Artists for Peace and Justice Party – Mischa Barton In Marchesa

When I saw Mischa Barton wearing this Marchesa Fall 2010 dress at the “Artists for Peace and Justice Party” in Cannes last night, I heard a crashing sound in my head.

That was the sound of my dreams being shattered.

This was my favourite dress from the Marchesa Fall 2010 collection because the embroidered cream duchess satin carousel cocktail dress was so beautiful and different from anything Marchesa had presented before.

I had hoped to see this stunning dress worn by Camilla Belle, Emmy Rossum or Leighton Meester (notice they are all brunettes), but that may never be realised now.

I gave Mischa a pass yesterday, but she gets an almighty fail today.

How can something so beautiful and delicate be made to look so very bad?

Without a hint of exaggeration, I’m devastated.

2010 amfAR’s Cinema Against AIDS Gala – Mischa Barton In Marchesa

We haven’t seen much of Mischa Barton for a few months, then the last few days she seemed to be everywhere, which is why it’s not surprise to see her on the red carpet at the 2010 amfAR’s Cinema Against AIDS Gala this evening.

The former ‘OC’ actress opted for a white satin chiffon draped Marchesa Fall 2010 column gown with a ruffled off-the-shoulder neckline.

Judging by this look I’m guessing Mischa was going for a sweet yet naughty look, because her ethereal gown is worn lower than the models plus she’s opted for some heavy eye make-up.

The low neckline I like, but I’m not fond of the dark eyes.

To complete her look Mischa carried a diamond crystal Marchesa clutch.

Who Wore Osman Yousefzada Better? Mischa Barton or Sarah Brown

Mischa Barton arrived at the British Academy Television Awards held at The Royal Festival Hall in London last April wearing a Osman Yousefzada Fall 2009 navy blue gown.

I fell in love with gold embellished turtle-neckline when I first saw this gown, so I wished at the time Mischa had worn her hair back to show off that detail to full effect.

The Prime Minister’s wife Sarah Brown has been front row at many shows this London Fashion Week, so she’s been taking in a lot of style tips.

At the 2010 Elle Style Awards last night she wore the same gown as Mischa Barton.

We thankfully got to see that stunning neckline with Sarah’s shorter hair, but unfortunately this picture is not doing her much justice as she looked much better in real life.

For taking a chance and experimenting with fashion and because everyone is bound to vote for Mischa, Sarah wins this for me.
