Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Mischa Barton opted for lots of texture and volume when she arrived on the red carpet for the 2011 Shanghai International Film Festival opening ceremony this weekend.

Her black tulle gown with a feathered neckline and embellished waistband was beautifully contrasted with bright red heels.

I can’t quite decide if I like this gown or hate it.

It’s very interesting, but I don’t think Mischa’s wearing it with much conviction.

Plus she should’ve worn her hair up with this look considering the neckline.

I’m sure many of you will ask, but I have no idea why she was there either.

At this current rate Mischa Barton will receive the Comeback Kid of 2011 Award.

It’s amazing how she’s turned herself around from the disheveled mess she was last year.

Last night she looked beautiful wearing a Paule Ka Black Carpet dress as she headed to the “Flash Trash” Jewelry Launch party which was held at Sketch in London.

Her white dress with a black sleeve and shoulder ruffle details was paired with orange Paula Ka wedges and a black Paule Ka clutch.

With her blonde hair swept to one side I think it’s safe to say she back to her pre/post-OC best.

Mischa Barton was spotted leaving Mahiki nightclub in London last night, after attending the No-Tell Motel Southern Comfort Room Launch party.

She scrubbed up very well wearing a MW Matthew Williamson beetle print silk blouse from the Fall 2011 collection, with a yellow pleated Willow Spring 2011 skirt.

I have a bit of a yellow shoe fetish at the moment, so I’m crushing on her Charlotte Olympia platform heels.

Mischa’s blouse is our first peek at a look from Matthew Williamson’s diffusion line.

The designer said he created the line after becoming sick of people saying, “I love it, but I can’t afford it,” with regards to the mainline collection.

So far it looks great; hopefully we’ll get to see more soon.

Mischa Barton doesn’t come out much to mix and mingle, but when she does show up, she still manages to command attention. The 25 year-old model/actress recently surfaced at the opening of Vivenne Westwood’s Los Angeles boutique, and while her tresses are tattered and her metallic frock is quite questionable, her skin happens to be the real star here. She hasn’t looked this healthy and youthful since her days as Marissa Cooper on The O.C. (Not sure what’s she doing, but she should absolutely keep it up!)

For a luminous, youthful dermis, always abide by the following five: 1) Wash your face twice a day, and never slumber in your slap; 2) It’s never too early to start anti-aging; 3) A weekly exfoliating mask can help keep your complexion completely clear; 4) A good moisturizer is your first defense against premature wrinkles; and 5) Don’t forget about your lips! Below, a few of our favorites—and your new clear skin Rx.

Malin Akerman was my favourite at the Vivienne Westwood Los Angeles Store Opening last night.

The blonde actress wore a Vivienne Westwood Anglomania Pre-Fall 2011 printed dress with grey satin pumps.

She seemed to have fun with her look. I love the wavy messy hair and bold make-up.

I see me and this dress being very happy together.

Mischa Barton has had as many comebacks as Britney Spears.

The former “OC” actress wore a sexy silver Vivienne Westwood Anglomania Pre-Fall 2011 dress with leopard print heels.

This is the best I’ve seen her in a very long while.

Anna Kendrick opted for lots of colour wearing a Vivienne Westwood Gold Label Fall 2011 dress with a draped neckline.

She kinda lets herself down with black Miu Miu pumps. Strappy sandals would’ve been preferred.
