Elie Saab Fall 2013 Couture Front Row

A group of glam-minded guests gathered to witness the sparkling, dramatic confections that floated down the runway at the Elie Saab Fall 2013 Couture show at the Palais Brongniart in Paris, France on Wednesday.

Pace Wu: The Asian beauty and red-carpet chameleon once again played the quick-change artist, casting her sporty cropped wig to the side for this sexy-romantic Elie Saab Spring 2013 dress. The solid geometric panels on the bodice edged up the sheer nude lace and flowing ballet skirt, which she paired with a silver box clutch and cream ankle-strap shoes.

Miroslava Duma: Veering away from her more style-forward entrances seen this Paris Haute-Couture Fashion Week, our FROW girl debuted a glossy, country-chic peasant dress, printed in a painterly Wedgwood blue. Matching Roger Vivier ‘Prismick’ heels put a mod spin on the floral frock. Yes, this look had charm, but I have to say that the sombre black-fringed shawl clouded what could have been a delightful little dress.

Petra Nemcova: Also feeling blue, the model snugged into a body-con Elie Saab square-neck dress. But, the positive benefits afforded by her glinting metallic-blue clutch and sandals could barely distract from the unnecessary black beads around her neck. Undoubtedly, her red-slicked smile stole the show.

Miroslava Duma In Jason Wu - Armani Privé Fall 2013 Couture Show

Miroslava Duma continued her chic streak during Paris Haute-Couture Fashion Week, joining Anna Dello Russo at the Armani Privé Fall 2013 show at Theatre National de Chaillot yesterday.

After showing us a casual-cool Chanel outing earlier in the day, the petite stylista dressed things up in a Jason Wu Resort 2014 look that she flaunted to perfection.

The midriff-baring bralette top and high-waisted pencil skirt, printed in a greyscale, scattered palm-leaf motif, had a shadowy tropical edge, which put this trendster look on the intriguing map and far from cliché territory.

Even when Mira threw over her shoulders the structured, cropped jacket in the same frond-frenzied print, the separates worked their magic.

She could have definitely lost the necklace, and I would have never missed it.

Chanel Front Row 1

Chanel’s Fall 2013 Couture show took place at the Grand Palais in Paris, France this morning, with celebrity guests from all over the world taking seats in the front row.

Rihanna: The singer, who was out at dinner in Paris last night, wore a full-length Chanel cardigan from the Resort 2014 collection, making full use of the opening, which acted as a slit to show off her pins. As for the plunge, she decorated it with an array of Chanel pearl necklaces – just not enough to cover that tattoo on her chest. The rest of her accessories included a cream quilted vanity case and cream pumps with a black toecap, both of which are from the Chanel Resort 2014 collection. Even though this look could be considered just-rolled-out-of-bed, I have to say she makes it work for her.

Kristen Stewart: The ‘Twilight’ actress has sat front row at many shows for Balenciaga, but this was her first show during Couture week. No one should be surprised she opted for the shortest shorts Chanel have ever produced, teaming them with a white double-breasted jacket from Chanel’s Resort 2014 collection. Her menswear-inspired look was styled with black leather fingerless gloves, chain bracelets, Jean-Michel Cazabat Evangelina pumps, a slicked-back ponytail and smoky eyes. Love her or loathe her, she totally nailed this look. It’s everything I would expect from Kristen, with an extra dose of attitude.

Clemence Poesy: The French actress selected a Chanel Spring 2013 boucle skirt suit inspired by a classic tuxedo. While it’s an interesting look, it feels weighty. I would’ve loved Clemence to have selected something from the Resort 2014 collection.

Miroslava Duma In Stella McCartney - Giambattista Valli Fall 2013 Couture Show

Miroslava Duma continues to impress during Haute Couture Paris Fashion Week.

This time she was front row at the Giambattista Valli Fall 2013 Couture show, which was held at the Grand Palais in Paris, France on Monday evening.

The fashion editor no doubt stood out wearing a dual-colour white-and-neon-orange Stella McCartney Spring 2013 frock.

In order to protect her modesty, Miroslava wore a white bandeau under her dress which is clearly visible via the sheer panel. I wish this was a close match to her skin tone or covered the entire sheer panel altogether as I find it rather distracting, nullifying the overall effect of the dress.

Those peach pumps which you didn’t like with her Camilla and Marc look, plus a Stella McCartney wooden clutch, completed her look.

So far, this is my least favourite look from the usually flawless FROWer.

Miroslava Duma In Camilla and Marc - Atelier Versace Fall 2013 Front Row

Miroslava Duma also stopped by the Atelier Versace Fall 2013 runway spectacle on Sunday, hosted during Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week in France.

Unlike some of the other front-row lovelies, this fashion girl didn’t wear Versace to the show. Instead, she clothed her petite frame in a geometrically structured Camilla and Marc Spring 2013 frock.

It was a bold way to go, with the patterned, oversized patchwork pieces that were pasted randomly onto the cerulean-blue skirt. I have a feeling some will find this flirty look utterly thrilling, and others, not so much.

The magenta print motif continued onto the shoulders of the white collared bodice, but Mira threw another colour into the mix with her selection of peach pumps.

Minimal makeup and a breezy, loose bob completed her summery entrance.

Christian Dior Fall 2013 Couture Front Row

Several stars arrived at the Hotel Des Invalides in Paris, France this afternoon for the Christian Dior Fall 2013 Couture presentation, with Marion Cotillard as the surprise absentee.

Jennifer Lawrence: The Oscar-winning actress and current face of Miss Dior was of course front row, getting a first look at her next red carpet look, no doubt. Jennifer selected a printed pastel-metallic guipure top with charcoal wool trousers with a stripe down one side and pleats down the other from the Resort 2014 collection. Black Dior sunglasses, shoes and a Dior fine jewelry ‘Bois de Rose’ bracelet. You are expecting me to say that I dislike the black pumps; well, I am too busy saving all my dislike for those pants. The colour, the style, the pleats: nothing about them work for me.

Miroslava Duma: After a pretty lacklustre weekend fashion-wise, Miroslava finally gives me a red carpet look I can love. The fashion editor selected a Dior Resort 2014 ivory bustier dress with blue-, orange- and pink-striped panels, which she styled with an Hermes black bag and lust-worthy blue pumps.

Olivia Palermo: The socialite, who is a regular in the front row at Dior, wore a full Dior look. Usually she marches to the beat of her own drum and will wear even high-street looks like Zara and Topshop to Fashion week; on this occasion she wore a Dior white jacket paired with a pink-and-blue organza skirt with all-Dior accessories, including cuffs on both wrists, an embellished belt, and a white clutch. I love everything bar the skirt. I almost wish the jacket was long enough to pass off as a dress.
