Who Wore Gucci Better…Miroslava Duma or Zendaya Coleman?

Who Wore Gucci Better Miroslava Duma or Zendaya Coleman

Fashion week darling Miroslava Duma attended a private screening of James Franco’s documentary film ‘The Director’ during Paris Couture Fashion Week last month.

She wore a Gucci Resort 2014 liquid-gold lamé jacket with a matching tunic and loose-fitting trousers that were way too long for her petit frame.

Zendaya Coleman wore the same look just two days later to the Friends ‘N’ Family 17th Annual Pre-Grammy Party.

Perhaps deciding the original pants were too long, she opted for jogger pants, styling her look with Gucci shades, John Hardy rings and gold Ruthie Davis sandals with a cream python Oroton ‘Odeion’ clutch.

Pant length aside, I prefer Zendaya’s overall styling of this look right down to her untucked tunic, so she wins for me.

Miroslava Duma In Louis Vuitton – Sidaction Gala Dinner

Miroslava Duma In Louis Vuitton - Sidaction Gala Dinner

Miroslava Duma attended the Sidaction Gala Dinner held at the Pavillon d’Armenonville on Thursday (January 23) in Paris, France joining Chloe Sevigny and Dita von Teese.

I’ve said that I didn’t expect we would see much of the Louis Vuitton Spring 2014 collection on the red carpet, deeming it too complicated to wear, but as this is the fourth look to hit the red carpet within a week it appears that I couldn’t have been more wrong.

Following Adele Exarchopoulos, Elle Fanning and Imogen Poots, Miroslava, known for her impeccable style, took a sheer black embellished top and a feathered-and-embellished jacket, making it her own, styling it with a fur-trimmed tweed skirt and accessorizing with an LV embellished bucket bag and black suede over-the-knee boots.

She’s selling this look to me in a way the model couldn’t.

Does she sell it to you?

Gucci Host The Screening of James Franco’s Documentary Film ‘The Director’

Gucci Host The Screening of James Franco's Documentary Film 'The Director'

Gucci hosted a private screening of James Franco’s documentary film ‘The Director’ held at the Royal Monceau Hotel in Paris, France on Wednesday (January 22).

Florence Welch: The singer wore a Gucci Spring 2014 black silk-chiffon kaftan (no surprises there) featuring metallic-purple inserts and bronze-and-blue sequin embroidery, worn over a black silk blouse and sheer black palazzo pants. Gucci accessories including a black plexiglass clutch and black suede platform sandals complemented her look, with a rouge lip colour and a braided updo providing the finishing touches.

Miroslava Duma: The pint-sized fashionista wore a Gucci Resort 2014 liquid-gold lamé jacket with a matching tunic and loose-fitting trousers, with a pair of brown leather Gucci platform sandals which aren’t that visible due to the extraordinary length of her pants.

Joan Smalls: The stunning model, who has fronted many campaigns for the brand, wore a Gucci Spring 2014 black spaghetti-strap plunging wrap dress with the signature bralet style, adding a black Gucci clutch and a pair of Gucci python lamé-and-suede sandals.

Miroslava Duma Loves Her…Charlotte Olympia ‘Time Piece’ Clutch

Miroslava Duma Loves Her Charlotte Olympia 'Time Piece' Clutch

While in Paris, Miroslava Duma’s front-row companion has been her Charlotte Olympia ‘Timepiece’ clutch bag, as previously worn by Diane Kruger.

I love how the quirky bag adds a chic yet offbeat touch to each of her looks, whether it’s standing out against a bright-yellow ensemble, complementing her white Valentino ensemble or blending well with a houndstooth coat or leather coat.

This perspex box clutch, which features a clock face and gold-tone gear latch that will truly stand the test of time, is accented with a gold-chain shoulder strap.

Who Wore Valentino Better…Miroslava Duma or Golshifteh Farahani?

Who Wore Valentino Better Miroslava Duma or Golshifteh Farahani

Miroslava Duma wore this electric-blue Valentino wool dress with scalloped detailing when she took her front row seat during the Valentino Fall 2013 Couture show back in July.

Even with the pop of red to the lips, the overall styling was too sombre for my taste and by her standards.

Golshifteh Farahani gave this dress a second run out not long after while attending the photocall for the 2013 Venice Film Festival.

Her styling wasn’t great either, adding silver Roger Vivier Virgule ‘Comma’ pumps and a blue Roger Vivier bag, but it’s much preferred over Miroslava’s so Golshifteh wins for me.
